She even assisted us with extending our stay. Can’t wait to return for a summer visit! 5 star and a highlight of our South Wales adventure!"

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

"It sounds trite but this is truly a gem of a hotel. Beautiful location, quiet, lovely gardens, very comfortable room and first class service throughout the hotel, from welcome at reception to saying goodbye. Restaurant (Artisan Room) was very good, the staff here so very helpful and lovely with it. Food is fresh, local and well prepared and served. Could not fault it. Good wine list too. It's a beautiful old house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Overall we had a lovely stay. We were informed that there was no provision for an evening meal on either evening (we stayed 2 nights) that was fine, as we were happy to drive to nearby Haverfordwest. We were a little disappointed that on Saturday evening the bar was closed to residents due to a private function. It would have been nice to have some prior warning, as a couple of drinks at the bar would have been a nice end to the evening. That bring said the breakfast was excellent and our room...

"Just perfect accommodation for exploring West Wales, you're a two minute drive from an amazing beach, less than 15 minutes from both Pembroke and Tenby. The room was great, we had lovely views over the back garden and uninterupted views over the fields and hills, breakfasts set us up for the day, really lovely people runninng it, seriously don't bother looking elsewhere, you'll love this place. "

"The rooms were lovely, warm and clean. Having a dog bed and food bowls was a lovely touch. The fridge was useful and we have plenty of space. The bed was very comfy. We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the fried bread!! The staff were amazing, we wished we could have stayed longer! "
