Toes in the Water, St. Augustine Beach House

  • When arriving to your private beach home located directly on the beach, you will have amazing views all around. When staying in your spacious 3 bedrooms and two & half baths home, you will enjoy peace and quiet while still have all conveniences nearby. Waking up to the sunrise you will be astonished by the ocean views from your bed. Enjoy fishing, beach walks, picnics, & boating while seeing an abundance in sea life including dolphins & sea turtles. You will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle that has good clearance to access the property. The sand gets soft and deep. Low cars will not be able to make it through.

    The entire house, the private beach, the dock in the backyard for fishing or water sports. "Toes in the Water" is nestled between the beach (Atlantic Ocean) is 10 steps away and Matanzas River Estuary. Watch the sunrise to the east and the sunset to the west from the 2 balconies or wrap around deck. Mantanzas Inlet is a very fun boating and skiing area and is 5 only minutes away.

    Enjoy this newly remodeled 3 bedroom 2 and half bathroom home with game room. Fun for the entire family! Oversized Connect 4, Cornhole, Kayaks and more!!! The home is located near many great attractions but still secluded so you can enjoy your privacy.

    Great location and views but could use better cleaning.

    The views were amazing, but there were things that needed improvement. We killed roaches every day in the kitchen. We didn’t get to use the amazing looking bathtub because you could tell it wasn’t fully cleaned. There was also a trash can outside where we spent a lot of our time watching the ocean that wasn’t emptied before we got there. I may be nitpicking, but whoever the cleaning crew is could do a better job.

    Awesome property right on the beach!

    The drive in may seem daunting to some but added to the overall experience exponentially. Loved this property.

    Wonderful! (Need 4x4 off-road vehicle!)

    Clean, bright, comfortably furnished. Gorgeous beach, fun surf, beautiful view on all sides. Kids can run free, no road, crowds or other dangers. Easily see the kids on the beach from the deck, living room, and master bedroom. Friendly, helpful host. Most restful vacation ever! YOU NEED A 4x4 OFFROAD VEHICLE WITH GOOD CLEARANCE to be confident of reaching the house. Entrance "road" is a half mile of soft, deep sand. Low clearance vehicles can often make it most of the way, but as soon as you try to turn or stop/start will become badly stuck. 2WD are totally hopeless. We saw 4 arriving families (ourselves included) get stuck during our week here, and MOST TOW COMPANIES WILL NOT HELP. Our tow truck got stuck himself before reaching our car, and left without helping us. You need to call one specific local guy (A1A Beach Towing). The "road" is single lane and neighboring houses need to use it. Also, high tide can reach it. So leaving a stuck car for long is not wise.

    Amazing location

    We had a great time. The location is fantastic and you can walk for hours on the beach or shores of the river. There were hardly any people anywhere. The beds were very comfortable. Checking in and out were amazingly simple. We would definitely stay here again.

    Slice of paradise

    Our stay at Toes Was literally the best place you could ever stay if you want to be one with the beach and ocean !! Cooperation with nature was the life we enjoyed for a week and a short 12 hours later I feel the need to return ! Living on the beach was the best experience of my life . The bar has been set high staying at Toes and I don’t think it can ever be matched . 10 out of10

    Secluded Space on the beach
