This was our first boat stay experience which was definitely cool to have experienced. I was a little disappointed to not be fully prepared for the lack of amenities on board, it indicates there is a stove top and there wasn’t. There was no TV which is indicated as well.. it was my plan to cook a dinner and have a romantic evening I. The boat but unfortunately we had to leave and come back for dinner and just had no opportunity for snuggling up and watching tv as we do for bed.

The boat was a nice and unique stay! It looked just like the pictures, cute and cozy. We had a small issue getting into the dock gate (the lock just had to reset) and the host responded in seconds to help us. The guest outhouse showers had heaters and were so clean. We loved sitting on the boat in the morning watching the sun come up. It was beautiful.

Our stay was fantastic. We did have a mishap and managed to hang out on the wrong boat for a couple hours but we were greeted by a nice couple who politely let us know we were on their boat. We were contacted by the owner and directed to the correct boat. This made our stay even better with a great story to share! Overall, was a great overnight with plenty of options around to eat and to spend our time

Boat had no water hooked up to it at all when I reached out, I was told to read instructions "turn on water facet" but guess what with no hose attached or anywhere near by water just ran into river. very poor lighting

This is fantastic retreat to see the water and enjoy the scenery around St Augustine. If you have never done this kind of stay, it’s a lot like camping in a trailer. The boat is as represented in the pictures. The food trucks make eating just steps away a delightful experience. The marina has private shower and restrooms which were clean. We had a question about something and got a call within minutes of messaging in the VRBO app.

Perfect Getaway

I booked this property last minute for a quick getaway for my husband and I. This was our first overnight stay on a sailing vessel. It was a new and great experience for both of us.

We’re very disappointed when we got there because the boat looked nothing like I did in the pictures that advertised it. They had nasty dirty cushions outside for you to sit on the inside was not that clean the coffee maker look like it hadn’t been washed in a very, very long time so we didn’t even use it and it smelled like a porta potty The entire time we stayed. I would not recommend this place to anybody. They need to do a little TLC on that boat and not have false advertisement.

Boat experience a one and done for us

First, I want to start out on a positive note, and say the property management company was very responsive, the check in process was very well explained, and the Marina itself was small and easy to navigate. The food trucks were a fun perk, and the marina bathrooms were clean and served their purpose. Now, onto the boat itself. It was run down, which was fine, everything still functioned, but it SMELLED HORRIBLE inside. When we first opened the hatch we were overwhelmed by a very foul odor. We tried to open up the front and rear hatch to "air it out" , but nothing helped. We spent as little time as possible on the boat because of this. And after two miserable nights sleep, our clothes, suitcases, and anything we had to store on the boat absorbed that awful smell. Everything had to be washed. That being said, when I reached out to the property manager, they were very responsive, and did have someone come out and investigate the "head". They said it was empty, so that was not what was causing the smell. It was seriously one of the most foul odors, think of porta potty in August. Just really bad. My husband is not sensitive to smells at all, and even he was overwhelmed. All I can think is it is the residual odor from the "head" even when empty smells rotten and awful. We originally decided to stay on a boat vs a home as a cool experience, but for sure a one and done for us. Never again.

Tranquil & beautiful

My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The boat itself is older, but we knew that. We slept comfortably each night and really enjoyed being able to watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the water and be able to relax and spend time together in the evenings..food trucks cnitoo!convenient too!

Not as Pictured

When we arrived, we were shocked. The boat was in disrepair and nothing like the pictures. When I opened the hatch, roaches scurried out of the light. The stove does not work. There was no microwave, so we couldn't cook on board. They informed us that we would have to use the marina bathhouse for showers and #2. This was supposed to be a surprise for my wife on our anniversary. We were surprised, that's for sure. So much so that we shut the boat up and left, and demanded a full refund based on the misrepresentation of the boat. It's been over a month and we still do not have a refund of the 700 plus we paid. They say they are "processing" the refund, but it doesn't take that long. I fear we have not only been lied to but also that our money has been stolen. Avoid this boat and this broker at all costs.

We found the property to be very clean easy to find. The food trucks nearby are only open certain times but we hadn't planned on using them anyway. The property owner responded to our email is very quickly. If you go there on the deck there is a way to set up a table so you can have dinner on the deck. The instructions that we got didn't include that but we figured it out. The facility sleeps three but the third person should be a small child. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it as something out of the ordinary. Also there are instructions inside which we didn't see for using the cabin lights so be sure to read them they're located on the right side of the cabin. We had a great time

A very unique exexperience!

Had an amazing time! Watching the sunset from the back of the boat and waking the sunrise. The boat is old and you need to be agile to get on and off. It’s a great test to see if you can live in a small space like a tiny home, an RV or even boat life. The marina with the food trucks was a blast. Food, music and friendly people.The only downside was the marina toilet was not flushing correctly but the shower was usable and the boat toilet was a little tricky.

That Really Floats Our Boat!

Great little sloop, nicely appointed and very comfortable! Our 1-night stay gave us just enough inspiration to get to work on our sailboat.Nice price, too! Would highly recommend!

Fun place to stay. Definitely too small for 3 people. Outside deck is a lot smaller than pictures depict, but comfortable. Inside was well kept and clean, but we noticed a lot of the dishes were put away dirty and the cabin curtains were not secure. Be mindful of small spaces if booking, including an elevated doorway to jump into the main bed.
