No me gusto el hotel
Primero creo q pague la habitación muy cara para el hotel y la habitación q me dieron. En mi viaje a tampa pague menos por el hotel y era excelente. No pudimos dormir porque frente a la habitación había un bombillo y toda la claridad entraba a la habitación. La señora q trabajaba ahí no fue nada amigable. Un desayuno muy pobre si lo comparo con mi estancia en tampa donde repito pague mucho menos por una habitación y servicio mucho mejor. Me asombra q tenga 9.2 q fue por lo Cual lo escogí yo le daria 7

Very nice Inn, but expensive
The Hotel is very well located. The price is sensibly high for the quality of the room, but good for the quality of breakfast and views. The attention of the owner is great.

The property is older and a bit rundown but was pretty clean and functional. It’s a little tired and could use some painting and a few repairs but it was quiet and safe.

Updated room with a great view. Very nice dining room with wonderful view and good food. Unfortunately the electrical outlets didnt work on 3 of the walls, so no tv or fridge. The shower looks beautiful but is non functional. There was no shower curtain and no rod for a curtain, so the floor was flooded.

We were surprised how close you are to the intercostal.2 blocks walk and you’re in downtown St Augustine.Nice shopping area close to historic district.Great food options close by. Staff was very friendly at check in.They explained the property and expectations.Not the Taj Mahal but a nice place to stay.

What a fun hotel!!! The view over the bay on the back patio was wonderful! Rooms were lovely and have new furnishings and nice bedding. Approx 1 mile from Old Towne but several good dining options that are within .25 miles. I will stay here every time I'm in the area!

The photos of the property really don’t do it justice. The room was comfortable and charming but the best thing about it to me was that, just outside the back door was a patio that looked out at the water and beyond the water was a scenic view of St. Augustine. A very nice breakfast was available each morning but the most enjoyable thing was the happy hour with wine and hors d’oeuvres each afternoon. Sue is the hostess with the mostest!!

Gorgeous view. Wonderful staff. Parking was easy, and we were easily able to walk over the bridge to downtown St Augustine. Could walk on the island to several good restaurants.

This property is nestled in the most lovely location. We really enjoyed the breakfast and sitting on the deck overlooking the river and Historic District of St. Augustine. We walked the bridge into the city on several occasions. The Inn was very clean and the staff was wonderful.

The man and the retired, gray haired woman at check in were lovely. The breakfast woman could be more pleasant—she seemed unhappy in her job. I liked the view, the sitting area outside and inside, and what appeared to be a new shower. The daily wine and snacks were a treat and the breakfast was okay. The room was quiet and clean except for dust on the bedside appliances and a very dirty glass (not dusty…it looked used and unwashed). I did not report these to the front desk; if I had, I feel certain they would have been fixed. I would stay here again.

Hotel has an exceptional location - right on the intracoastal waterway. great views. They have an evening Happy Hour that is delightful, and serve an excellent breakfast. Ammenities in the rooms are lovely.

The surrounding view was absolutely untouchable! Rocking chairs, a lap blanket in January, a hot coffee and watching the sun rise and set over the water is a memory you'll never forget. Did I mention the dolphins?? You will regret staying ANYWHERE ELSE.

The hotel was very nice. The staff provided a lovely homemade breakfast and nice apps and wine for happy hour. The room was clean and updated. The only complaint was the air conditioning was loud. I would definitely go back. From the hotel you can walk to the historic district and shopping without worrying about parking. Great location!

Unbeatable location
Setting expectations, this is a motel: enjoy it as a well-preserved classic 40s/50s roadside motel. What's incredibly special is the location (on the Bridge of Lions, it's a 10 minute walk into the tourist strip), the view (the back deck IS the intracoastal waterway), and the breakfast (fresh-cooked full hot breakfast plus a continental spread). We watched an amazing range of birds, and even spotted dolphins one morning. I was working full-time while hubby was sightseeing: the wifi managed and the hotel staff couldn't have been nicer, but this isn't set up as a business hotel. Working in a rocking chair while pelicans and egrets fly in front of you in the afternoon sunshine is worth dealing with some gaps in the wifi signal. We met couples there who had been back multiple times, and one fellow who said his parents honeymooned here in the 50s. We hope to be back!

Good stay!
Love the location and the staff was excellent! We checked in with a gentleman and he was so darn friendly! I’m sorry I can’t remember his name! Everything was clean and comfortable! The only thing that I would say could improve would be some maintenance. There were some areas in our bathroom where the wall needed repaired and some mold. NO BUGS THOUGH! Which is a big deal for Florida! Would definitely stay here again. A little pricey but you are definitely paying for the location.
