We had an excellent stay at Archer's Rock. The property is absolutely beautiful, with incredible ocean views that make it hard to leave.The beds were extremely comfortable and made for a great night's sleep every night. Breakfast by Ms. Carleen was fantastic and really added to the experience. It was also very easy to order groceries, which made the stay even more convenient.We especially loved the cliff swimming are, which was such a unique and memorable experience. The only small downside was that the guard dogs next door would sometimes bark loudly and jump high near the fence when walking down, which could be a little intimidating.One thing to note is that there are no TVs in the bedrooms, although with views this beautiful, they really are not needed.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back again.

VILLA # 1 IS #1 ! (ST ANN'S BAY CHUKKA COVE)

It was a wonderful vacation; the villa was lovely, the patio and view idyllic. Carlene was a terrific hostess; the meals she prepared were delicious and she checked in with us daily about what specialties she could prepare and asking what items we liked. The villa was very clean and very comfortable. I noticed there was no dishwasher in the kitchen' there seemed to be room for one and I would suggest that. Carlene never complained but I imagine that would make her life easier! We'd come back anytime!

Not what we expected

Was not happy with this property ended up leaving after three days when we got there it just wasn’t what we had pictured the cook, actually uses your kitchen and decided to leave ended up spending four nights at a different resort and the washer and dryer in your unit which didn’t make sense to me at all felt like I had no privacy when we came back on the third day there was four or five people sitting in our front yard, we just felt totally uncomfortable

Relaxing seaside villa

Lovely villa right on the ocean. We had plenty of fun swimming and snorkeling, as well as a trip to the original blue hole ( recommend this highly). The staff are wonderful - very caring and competent .. I'm definitely considering a return visit!

Amazing!

Arthur's Rock did not disappoint! From the moment that I made the booking, Trish was in regular communication to ensure that I received all documentation. All of my questions were answered promptly and fully. Then we arrived at the villa. Ms. Carlene greeted us at the gate and from that point onwards made sure that we were comfortable. She is the perfect balance between attentiveness and privacy. The villa is absolutely beautiful, the grounds extremely well kept and the view and overall ambience 5 ⭐. I recommend Arthur's Rock at Chukka Cove to anyone who wants to completely relax, in beautiful surroundings and not worry about meals. Whether you are a couple, family or small group, this villa will not disappoint. Thank you again Ms. Carlene and Arthur's Rock for an unforgettable experience!

Have you ever had such an amazing trip that everybody was crying when it was time to leave because we didn’t want to leave Ms. Carleen. She is EVERYTHING! she made our stay beyond amazing. I sprang my ankle before coming on the trip and Ms Carleen did her magic. I was out jumping off cliffs at the blue whole. Me and my kids have already booked to go back in April. See you soon Ms Carleen and Andrew just amazing people.

Relaxing 25th anniversary vacation

The villa has an amazing location! The views from bedroom 1 and 2 are wonderful to wake up to each morning as you get a full ocean view from the large windows. The beds and pillows in all 3 bedrooms are so comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space in each bedroom. Ms Carleen is a fabulous housekeeper and chef. She made delicious meals for us and accommodated our request for a low level of spiciness. Andrew was so friendly and made us feel very safe on the property. Tony and Martin kept the grounds looking great all week long. All of the staff are very hard working and friendly. The only con was that the internet connection isn't consistently strong, but I'm not sure there is anything that could be done in that matter. We were there to unplug and relax so maybe it was better that we couldn't check email sometimes. Overall I would highly recommend Villa 1 for privacy due to it's location on the grounds and for Ms. Carleen and her patient demeanor when trying to make everyone in the family happy at mealtime. We would definitely like to come back for another vacation and maybe bring some other families with us to stay in Villa 2 & 3.

Taste of paradise

We were a family group ranging from 6 to 78 and it worked for all of us. The house, the setting, the view, the food, everyone looking after us, we couldn’t ask for anything more. The villa and the grounds are even lovelier in real life. We had the grounds and the pool and the bay almost to ourselves for our whole stay. Jumping and swimming in the crystal clear waters of the bay was my highlight. We went out on a couple of trips out, but it was lovely to unwind and be looked after so well on site, we didn’t need to do too much. Mrs C is a true star, her food is incredible and we all tried new things and enjoyed every mouthful. The grounds team and security are all amazing too. We felt very safe in a beautiful setting. Sitting in front of villa 1 with the ocean as the back garden is something I’ll never forget. Thanks to you all for the holiday of a lifetime.

A magical paradise

Chukka cove is the perfect vacation setting. It is a true paradise untouched by commercialization. The villas are updated and provide modern amenities. Ms Carlene and the other ladies who manage the villas are amazing cooks and willing to adjust to the dietary needs of all the guests. The view is extraordinary, the snorkling and clif jumping are amazing, the porches provide the perfect amount of privacy and community at the same time. This was the most relaxing, low-key, rejuvenating vacation we have ever had. We can't wait to return!

Relaxing Villa

Our family enjoyed a relaxing week at Archer's Rock Villa 1. In addition to the beautiful, well-kept house, we enjoyed delicious home cooking Jamaican style (thanks to Carlene). We also enjoyed the picturesque views and property (thanks to Martin), and felt very safe with Phillip on site, their resident security guard. We appreciated the relaxing environment over a resort!!

Amazing Country Getaway

Could not have imagined a better holiday for the family if I tried! The house was perfectly situated on an expansive but quaint property with a private pool for the kids, an infinity pool just steps away and a private sandy cove perfect for young kids. We took a stroll around the farm every night to visit the animals and picked fresh fruit off the trees everyday. Carlene was incredible and the kids loved her. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with your family, you’ve found it here!

A Dream

Our stay at Archer's Rock was a dream. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the view was incredible. All of the staff were so kind and we especially loved Ms. Carlene's delicious meals. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 which includes a tween and a teen. The grounds are well taken care of and the location is quiet and peaceful. away from the big resorts, but close enough to attractions for day trips. We enjoyed seeing the horses each day and doing the Chukka horseback riding tour. We'd love to go back someday.

We have a wonderful experience here with our family. The property was well kept, the sights were beautiful, and the people were amazing! Even though the location is 20+ minutes away from Ochi, it is in a great place to visit other great places on the North side of the island.

Exceeds Expectation.

Exceeds Expectation. The property is beyond beautiful. The pictures as gorgeous as they are, do not do justice to how it looks in person. Imagine this... you wake up to the sight of clear blue skies meeting clear blue waters. You saunter over down to the kitchen, pour yourself a cup of coffee, that Ms Carleene (shes beyond lovely) made for you. and sit out on the patio, listening to the ocean and looking out over the cliffs. The coffee gives you this sudden burst of energy and you walk over to the edge of the property (about 200 yards) and jump over the cliffs into the ocean for a short swim. The board says "no lifeguards on duty" but Tony and Martin are always watching, keeping an eye out ensuring everyone is safe. You come back from your refreshing swim to a sumptous breakfast that Ms Carleene has laid out for you and its all kinds of delicious. Ackee and Saltfish FTW. After breakfast yuou lounge around and can take a swim , plan for an outdoor activity, visit places you want to see , David (Pai Pai) has you back, smooth. Or you can have Tony and Martin take you to the other end of the property, jump off the cliffs, swim a 100 yards to see a naturally formed batcave(yes, there are bats there) Right around the corner (5 min walk) is a lagoon where people come to snorkel, you can have Tony and/or Martin take you there for an amazing swim. When you are sitting out there in the night, you will not even be aware of Phillip keeping an eye out over the entire property, hes like a security ninja, ensuring your safety. BTW this is day 1. you can rinse and repeat or do something else, as the Jamaicans say ... No Problem! The property is great, but the the people that take care of you like family . Ms Carleene, Tony, Martin, Phillip and David these are the people that make the trip Exceed Expectation!

A very special and truly enjoyable place!

This is a very special house! From the moment you open the front door and see the deep blue ocean straight ahead through the big glass doors opening to the patio you know you're in for something special. The house is very recently renovated and pristine with all amenities you could want, including a big jacuzzi and outdoor shower! The housekeeper miss Carlene spoiled us with gorgeous breakfasts, treats and delicious Jamaican dinners. Anything we asked for, she made! The only thing we had to worry about is where to swim: in the sea with great snorkeling, in the protected cove, in the large swimming pool or in the jacuzzi! A very memorable and comfortable stay, highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway

We loved the whole experience! The house and grounds are beautiful and immaculate. The house manager, Ms. Carleen, took care of us like family. She is phenomenal and so great with kids. It was the best of both worlds for me. My husband and I loved the serene, relaxing atmosphere but there was still plenty for our 4-year-old son to explore (pool, huge backyard, cove, Chukka farm animals). The only minor issue was the internet signal didn’t work upstairs. But all things considered, it was a dream. We can’t wait to go back!

Birthday in Jamaica!!! (Solo Vaca)

I have no idea where to start. From the moment I touched down in Jamaica life was wonderful. My driver Dez whom is also my friend and security picked me up from the airport. Sorry Dez does not come with the Villa..he is mine! :-) Arrived to the villa and was greeted with the warmest welcome from Ms. C!!! She cooked me the most amazing meals!!! ((Eyes rolling)) Her spirit is Amazing and her laugh brought me joy. I see in the reviews people complained about privacy...ummm its Jamaica and the people here are family types. So you might want to visit somewhere else if you dont like people. I loved seeing them around the property as you feel safe and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Just like the photos. Ms C. keeps an EXTREMELY tidy place. I MEAN SPOTLESS!! Philip is there to be sure your safe at night. The property welcomes you with its beauty and nature sounds in the evening. VILLA 1 is the prime location. It directly overlooks the ocean and you may see a passing cruise ship in the dark of night which is cool to see. Man, I could go on and on and I will definitely be back to this property. Thank you to Ms Trish as well for directing us when we first arrived. Return visit

We loved this property/staff so much we came back a second year and are already planning our visit for next year. It is so peaceful and relaxing it is truly a place to stay if you want a true vacation. There is plenty of tours to enjoy from Chukka, but we chose to take advantage of the cove, the pool, the amazing grounds and just enjoying time with the staff. Carleen is phenomenal cook, no need to eat out with her in the kitchen. She bought us what was fresh in the market and always had delicious meals waiting for us. Philip is always there to help and Anthony can take you snorkeling in the cove or to the bat cave. Looking forward to our trip next year!!

We had an amazing stay at Chukka Villa 1. Only problem was we didn't stay long enough.

Villa 1 was even more beautiful in person. Everything from initial booking of Villa to meeting everyone there was fantastic. Carlene welcomed us like family and prepared amazing meals. We would recommend the property 100%. Location perfect as well.
