Quiet, Peaceful and Relaxing.

If you are not visiting this area, you are missing out! All three of these cabins offered by Logs and Stone are excellent. It's nice to stay in properties where the owners and managers are actively involved and so communicative.We will continue to book with these folks for our winter getaways.

Well equipped and comfortable. Amazing view of the stars from hot tub which was perfectly heated. Great area with neat shops and attractions. Wish we had more time.

My husband and I went up for the weekend for the rural revival concert in Spruce Pines. The cabin was in a nice distance not to far. Would stay here again.

Amazing little cabin

Very clean cabin with a great view. Everything was clean and neat. There's a hot tub on the porch which was perfect for soaking and looking at the stars on a night that would otherwise be too cold to be outside. In the morning we were able to watch a family of deer play in the field out front and saw a group of turkeys wander through. I would definitely stay here again.

this cabin is the best place to stay for a mountain trip!!! plenty of space from neighbors but still close to a ton of activities, hikes and the gorgeous blue ridge parkway! very kind owners as well who gave us detailed instructions on how to access the cabin as well as other amenities. 10/10 stay

Just what we were looking for

Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening after riding our motorcycle through the mountains during the day. We were surprised at the Conveniences in a small cabin. Washer and dryer, a/c,gas fireplace, cable TV dishwasher and so on. We enjoyed our 5 days there.

Quiet Country

Nice clean country cabin with hot tub. Picturesque setting. My daughter and I stayed 2 nights. She is attempting to run all 100 NC county. Mitchell Co was number 83!!! Thanks for a wonderful place to stay!

Like a dream

Definitely going at the end of june was a good call because of all of the plants in bloom. There is so many cute critters and bugs around for nature walks. And it honestly felt like a dream at night when fireflies lit up the area.

So good it's annual now!

Last year, I took my partner to the Rhododendron festival, which is sometimes hard to find places to stay for. This place is less than 30 minutes from Bakersville and so close to all the things we wanted to do (gem mining right down the road!) We enjoyed it so much that we rebooked it again this year. The view is gorgeous, the space is clean and modest, and it is just so cozy. Hot tub, fire place, a kitchen- I couldn't ask for better. In fact, last year's stay was the first time my partner and I said "I love you" to one another, so this year I proposed in the same spot on the porch. We will definitely be back next year and hope this stays open for booking as it has a special place in our hearts now.

Mountain Hideaway

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in this little cabin. It was private and well appointed with washer, dryer, dishwasher, Direct TV, WiFi, tub/shower, hardwood floors, fireplace, and hot tub. The personal touches were really appreciated - all you need to bring with you are your clothes and food! The host was very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We hope to go again in the winter and enjoy the snow.

Great Get Away!!

Overall the cabin we stayed in was very well built. Great location much more roomy than expected which was nice for two people, nice to have the amenities that it did. Hot tub was definitely great after a day in the Mtn to relax and end the day. Also saw some deer on the property that was a nice encounter. Cleanliness was fair I imagine the cabin had been shut up for awhile there was a lot of dust on the walls especially above the bed and a few dead files on the floor but the rest of the cabin was pretty clean. I’m not sure if this is recommended but there was a tip jar on the kitchen table for “cleaning supplies “ the property rental has a cleaning fee so not really sure why that was there. All in all it was a very nice cabin and we enjoyed our time there definitely would go back.

5 year anniversary

We were very happy with our stay at cabin #2! The cabin was perfect and quaint, the location is perfectly nestled off of Blue Ridge Parkway. Deer greeted us every morning and evening. There are roosters across the road, but they didn’t bother us. The only thing I would recommend is maybe extra blankets. Besides the bedding on the bed, there are no other blankets. We will definitely be back! Maybe a yearly visit!
