"We had a wonderful stay in Seven Devils. The home is close to Grandfather mountain and just down the hill is Grandfather winery. The home is just as advertised . We enjoyed being able to walk out the back to Otter fall trail. Lots of deer and wild turkeys . We would stay again. The owner if helpful with restaurant recommendations and things to do."

"Perfect house for what we needed! We were celebrating my daughter turning 9 with a trip to Tweetsie. We also did the alpine coaster & grandfather mountain. This house was situated between all of them. My children each brought a friend, so the bedrooms upstairs were perfect for that. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils. The beds were comfy. "Great cabin on a mountain! Wooden rocking chairs and a porch swing made for great porch sitting. The beautiful scenery and extremely comfortable beds helped make this stay amazing. Fresh air from open windows at night was just what the doctor ordered. Driveway is a little bit of an adventure for motorcycles but still doable for advanced riders. "

"The Read Retreat was a perfect little cabin with all the “essentials!” It is “UP” the mountain on a few twisty roads but, it’s not a bad drive at all and is in a good location to surrounding areas. We had lots of deer sightings and one black bear as well! I would highly recommend the Read Retreat!"

"My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend in this cozy cabin. We were very comfortable and the location was great. The host gave us excellent recommendations for activities in the area and was very responsive. As an added bonus there were deer with their young everywhere.Highly recommend!"
