Unfortunately, upon arrival we found a note on the second bathroom door indicating it was unavailable due to construction. "Great place to stay for the Polar Express! Close and in a really cute little town with a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance. As it’s an aesthetic grandma-core dream, it’s not the most kid-friendly (beautiful art and lamps everywhere), but also totally doable. Stayed with two mom friends and our five kids and had a blast!"

"This house was wonderful!! It is close to the road but the traffic was not annoying to us. The first night we drove past the driveway not knowing it was beside the barn. The house is cozy with fleece blankets for snuggling under while relaxing watching tv or reading. Lots of room for the family to spread out. "

"Absolutely beautiful. The house was well equipped and so comfortable. The sounds of the river were music to our ears. We will go again. The host was fabulous and saw to all our needs. It is out of the way, but so worth it. And a really good access to the Allegheny Trail, whether you are a biker or walker. So much to see and do and a great place to come back to in the evening. Don't miss this one."

"it is a good economical choice for bikers passing through. It is not fancy, but it was clean, safe and quiet, my three top priorities. The price range of a hostel, but with the privacy that you would prefer. Staff was easy to get a hold of and they were friendly and kind. There was a nice restaurant right next-door and there’s a cool art gallery/coffeehouse in the area called Tissue Farm. "

"There might be several reasons to stay at the Rack Shack. Ours was the location, not far from Fallingwater which we visited the following morning. Also, the modest price for an entire cabin was appreciated. Visiting from northern Maine we were right at home with the antlers and taxidermy.
