The Choplin's
Our stay at Buddy's camp was amazing! We had everything we needed. You don't have to drive far to get groceries or bait. It was so relaxing, i was not ready to leave. We will definitely be back. Mrs. Katie was so sweet and responds quickly

Perfect for a weekend getaway
We LOVED this place! Clean, quiet, peaceful, and roomy. The best part is the little thoughtful amenities, like sleeping masks. There were little things like that all over the place so you can tell that the owner really cares about their renters. We wil definitely be back!

Fantastic house!
The house has everything you'll need. And then some. My kids absolutely loved learning to kayak and fish and use a record player. We hung out and played card games and yard games. We rocked out to The Beach Boys and AC/DC. Toiletries were provided (even makeup remover!). My kids cried when we left and said they wanted to move there. Thanks for the lovely stay, Katie!

Locals but loved the get away
This place was perfect! We live nearby but met up with friends for a couple of nights for fishing and relaxing. Plenty of room inside and out! The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the place is just great! Can’t wait to go back!

Mardi Gras Getaway

Our favorite place to stay so far
We really enjoyed staying here! Very nice home with an awesome location and super peaceful. I loved that I was able to fish from the house or take a kayak down the river..Out of all the vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, this is the coolest place! Something for everyone
We all had a great time and truly enjoyed our stay. It rained 2 of the 5 days we were there, but there was plenty of covered area for parking and outdoor chilling. Even thought it was cold, we lit a fire in the chimenia and enjoyed the cool night. The place was large enough for the 4 of us, plenty of space! One son-n-law came over by boat and the other enjoyed fishing from the dock. Everyone tried out and enjoyed the massage chair! Great addition. A great time was had by all!

LA Renaissance Festival
We came down to go to the renfaire. This place was perfect for our two night stay. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Some really great eating places very close by. The only negative is it is not really set up for young kids. My daughter just about had a heart attack when she saw we were basically over water and there was no gaurdrail to stop her 3 year old from falling in. Wasn't an issue for us since we were not there for an extended stay. I loved the location and would go again.

A little get away
My wife and I stayed here for a get away and absolutely loved this place. We sat down stairs every evening fishing and watching the Rangers in the World Series. It has everything you need with comfy beds, grills and downstairs you have a big tv, fridge and restroom. My wife couldn't have picked a better place.

Great girls get away!
Beautiful home for the relaxing we needed! Easy to find, very clean, well kept. The host was great! We at Mexican food down the road and shopped 20 minute drive to Ponchatoula. This one will stay on my favorite list to go back to.

Amazing Lake House
This house was great! We loved the set up, they had an extra fridge downstairs by the slip with a stereo. The house set up was great with plenty of seating in the living room. This house just gave us all smiles, it had a good energy. Only con - beds are terribly uncomfortable but regardless I hope to stay here again.

This was an amazing trip! This the the first use of of new boat and the owner of the house couldn't be more helpful. The beds very superior in comfort and the house came equipped with every appliance and grill ever needed. Out of a 5 star rating I give this house 8 stars!

Best Location
We stayed at this lovely house during the Tickfaw 200 with six friends. It was so easy getting to the Vrbo by boat and by land. Each room had everything you needed, and the beds were comfortable. The host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. I would definitely stay there again.
