Our Favorite Place
My friends and I have been coming here for a few years now for a break from the real world. It’s exactly that, with amazing gardens, and a coop full of chickens, there’s no need to go anywhere else. Elena and Justin have put hours of hard work, love, and creativity into this place to make it the perfect retreat, you’ll forget you’re in a city!! We love it so much and WILL be back! Soon!!

So unique and relaxing
We have stayed at many VRBO rentals and this stay was by far the most relaxing, comfortable and unique than any other. The property is so cool and original! Clean, great ambience and really makes you focus on the simple joys in life. Everything is done by the owners and it shows, the love and creativity that is put into this property is evident everywhere. Plus: No expectations to clean up, change the linens etc (which I think is ridiculous of other VRBO's when you pay a cleaning fee, hotels don't expect you to change the sheets etc.) this property will always stand out in my mind and even though I have seen most of Springfield now, I would return and bring my family & kids just stay in one of these houses. What was also cool is the two other places I saved in my trip as options to rent, were owned by the same owners. Justin gave us a tour of the other two properties, pictures do not do them justice! Staying at any of the tranquil dragonfly properties will be an EXPERIENCE!

All was great at this house. Owners very friendly. If you are reading this review wondering if you should select/stay at this house, DO IT!! You will be very comfortable and the house is immaculately clean.

Great place
There's a lot of interesting things going on at this property, in a good way. And there are so many extras available...books, games, puzzles, and I even saw some lego sets (perhaps if you wanted to relax indoors if poor weather). We stayed 2 nights and were very comfortable. The property is impeccably clean, and the beds are firm and comfortable. Thank you!!

Beautiful home in a great location!
My friend/business partner and I stayed here for our business planning trip. Elena’s communication was excellent. The check in process was hassle free. We adored all the character and inspiration this home had to offer and the location was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet and charming and very close to the downtown area. Looking forward to our trip here next year!

A stay out of a fantasy novel!
Beautiful apartment (in tri-plex) with two master bedrooms with queen beds and en suites. We loved our stay in this apartment in historical Springfield. My mother-in-law stayed in one room, and my daughter and I stayed in the other. (Husband could not come this trip so it was a "3 generations of girls" trip! Elena assisted with instant replies on everything (including allowing me to take on of the tourist items on our site seeing trip.) Justin checked on us when we went outside and helped me with my 50-pound suitcase. He also toured us through his other properties which was great fun. Each apartment was uniquely charming. Daughter and I loved the fantasy aspect while MIL enjoyed the historical features. We even loved that the Narnia books were in the order CS Lewis put them (instead of his son's change.) Great spot, minutes from everywhere. Water feature sounds added a peaceful feel as we sat in the hammock chairs. Would DEFINITELY stay here again! Maybe next time with husband as well! :-)
