The property description omitted important information. The bedrooms are up very steep and very narrow stairs to the second floor. The property smelled bad. The air conditioning’s musty smell added to that order. The air conditioning in the bedrooms only had one small vent making the bedrooms hot and the downstairs freezing. There were ants in the kitchen and moths in the living room. The couch in the living room and the beds were very uncomfortable. The bath towels and hand towels were dingy or had stains. We did not stay the second night that we booked. The check in process was very easy.

The property overall was fine. House was clean, however the rooms were much smaller than anticipated (that's most likely my error for not reading square footage in listing). When using the pull-out sofa, there was no walking space between the foot of the sofa bed and the wall. I would suggest rearranging the room for ease of walking. Stairs to the two bedrooms were very narrow and the handrail seemed a bit too high. The bathroom was clean, drain plug did not work for the tub. The kitchen is very small but has a nice gas stove and full size fridge. Washing dishes in the sink was a bit of a hassle due to size/location of sink. Sitting room where washer/dryer are at is very spacious, chairs are comfy. Overall, I liked the look and very much appreciated the cleanliness of the property, just wasn't expecting it to be quite as cramped. Would work well for a couple, not so much for a family.

The owner of this property is an extraordinary professional that went above and beyond to meet my needs. I highly recommend that you take a leap of faith and stay at her property as you will quickly notice that the hospitality is incomparable to anything I have EVER seen or experienced, and I travel ALOT..

Nice for the price

Overall our stay was nice. The only thing i think that needs addressing is the furniture. The furniture was very uncomfortable. From the couch that you sank into and couldn't get comfortable in, to the chair where the cushion always slid off. I highly recommend replacing with something more comfortable and relaxing

Great place!

The check in process was a little bit of a scare at first when we were given the code and wasn’t able to get in due to the code not working. I immediately reached out and within minutes it was fixed and I was able to get in! This place was very beautiful and cozy! The neighborhood is great! We would definitely book and recommend friends and family who plan on visiting the area!

We had absolutely no problems booking, the stay, But then once we were there, they canceled. Our reservation gave us back our money and we had to rebook. But then we were there approximately 5 days and they canceled the reservation once again and said that they were going to credit our accounts but did not. Cozy & Quaint

A compact quaint house that fit our needs well. I felt it did lack some curb appeal, with dead leaves, sticks and spider webs on front porch and dead tree branches in fence row, bushes and along walk ways. Neighborhood was quiet and close to many of the things that we came to Springfield to enjoy.

Not quite there

We chose based on location. And as described, it is by a hospital…but Life Flight chopper’s pad and pad are less than a block away! Other issues were liquor bottle, cigarette butts, and broken glass in backyard…know this as seating is the stoop or an old foundation wall. Only had 1/2 roll toilet paper…extras not found in house!…supplied our own! Finally, take out trash as listed in checkout, but no outside receptacle! Hope Walgreens didn’t mind, but we did buy the tp there, so! Won’t use again. Did I mention my partner had to find fuse box as outlets didn’t work?!

A few things we would have liked to know…

Here are the items that fell short of our expectations: 1.) there were ants in the living room; 2.) the comforters on the beds were not clean; 3.) the mattress on the fold out bed needs to be cleaned; 4.) there was only one small trash can in the bathroom for the entire house; 5.) broadband was so slow we couldn’t watch a movie; 6.) the bedrooms are upstairs from the 1 bathroom and 7.) pictures of the stairs should have been included in the posting. We communicated many of these concerns with the management company on the first day we arrived. Only one issue (a broken sink faucet) was addressed. The other items were not. I would not stay here again.
