The house was amazing, perfect for a cabin style stay up north!! There were horses on a neighboring property that are so friendly and social and that was a fan favorite during our stay. As well as the view of the mountains in the front a back yard - elk would come to visit in the early morning as well!!! Book you stay here - cheap and fun!!

We loved everything about this house. My grand kids had so many options to choose from. There were toys, games and a playground set which kept them very entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and linens and I cannot think of anything to change. The location was perfect for our family.

2nd time booking this cabin. They never fail to make the experience so warming and welcoming. Such a beautiful cozy canin to stay in for the weekend. Had a wonderfully beautiful view of the snowy mountain as well.

Our host was great, and the house was perfect for our family birthday gathering. The place was clean, plenty of space and the Arizona room was perfect for the kids to play, have a dance party, and play games. We saw elk come down for the evening, just before enjoying smores on the patio.The one huge drawback for us was the lack of internet, which she is trying to fix. Three adults in our group had to work remotely on Monday, and could absolutely not call in sick. Unfortunately, they had to drive all the way back to Tucson on Sunday night, and then back to Eager on Monday night for our gathering. We were promised excellent internet for working from home, so this was a real issue. Our host did offer a 10% discount on our next stay, but since we generally travel to different locations each time, this wasnt really helpful for us.

We stayed a few days before my husband & son weny hunting. No complants, but coild use a little better cleaning overall. We liked the house & the beds were compfortable . Had everythong we needed which was great!

I have been going to Alpine area for over forty years and when I found this cabin it is a gem! The cabin was perfect for my entire family with every amenity we would ever need. Close to Alpine and Springerville where you can go to all places to fish with easy access. The owners are amazing and very responsive for whatever you need. If I make it with all the family again I will be sure to rent this property as it is perfect!

NOT AS ADVERTISED

Definitely not as advertised. It does not have AC and the upstairs is extremely hot. It was dusty and very outdated. The smell of mineralized water will make you puke. This is not an exaggeration while you shower it smells severely and you will not feel clean. The toilets look like a turd was taken and never cleaned up. The host will never respond to your messages. The house is very creepy and has outdated bedding, blinds, curtains, etc. You will not sleep comfortable and will feel as if you’re staring in a horror show. We didn’t complete our stay and left quickly the following morning and rented a room at the Best Western in Eager to complete our trip. I would suggest you book elsewhere before booking this VRBO.

Gorgeous!

The cabin was beautiful! Spacious and comfortable. Everything we needed was available. All we had to bring was ourselves, clothing, and food. So much to do in the area like hiking and fishing. At night it was so quiet and peaceful. Only thing I recommend is to definitely bring bottled water. The water is safe, but tastes of metal due to being from a well.

It was the perfect spot

The home was the perfect place from which to attend our friend's wedding in Nutrioso. We were able to utilize the well-appointed kitchen to put together the rehearsal dinner which was cooked and served off-site. Lots of counter space, large refrigerator, and tables that we could use for building the meal for transport to another location. Many spices and seasonings, with the exception of salt, were available for use, as was coffee, sugar, creamer, and coffee filters. Two types of coffee pots (large pot and a Keurig) made our morning brew easy!! The living room was our gathering spot in the evening between parties. Plenty of comfortable seating for a group twice the size of our own. The only negatives we encountered were difficulty finding the driveway after nightfall, a porch light that we couldn't find a switch for, and the low-intensity lighting in the LR. As seniors, these items were the most frustrating for us. Overall, it's a home set up for family fun. Lots of toys and items for kids of all ages!! The beds were comfortable, albeit really tall. No air conditioning, but there were fans in the bedrooms. We can't speak to heating as we didn't need any. It would have been a bit nicer to have easy access to windows that opened for afternoon cooling. Quick response from host when we needed a few more garbage bags. Overall, a great place to stay, especially for large groups. It's definitely a place to keep on the "return to" list. Quirky and fun!!

Rustic cabin with large sunroom

We wanted to get away and leave the city behind in a dog friendly cabin with full kitchen. It's a great cabin for that. It had streaming services on the main TV. We had issues with our T-Mobile cellphone service. There is a Verizon tower close, I assume Verizon customers will have better service. I had to drive to Springerville to make phone calls on my T-Mobile cellphone. Our devices were able to use the cabin Wi-Fi to stream shows or movies. Spotty texting and no cellular phone calls allowed on our T-Mobile cellphones. Owner was very quick to respond. We needed directions to the cabin. The directions on VRBO are not correct. Ended up on private land as the sun was setting and owner responded asap to help. Was also helpful in getting more propane for the bbq. It was perfect for what we wanted to do.

Incredible Getaway

Immaculate, cute, quaint, charming. Everything you need for a great vacation. Plenty of space, accommodations galore, things for the kids and adults alike. Wilderness and fishing close by, NFL package so we didn’t miss anything in the evenings. 3 generations enjoyed, we’ll be back soon!

NOT WHAT WAS ADVERTISED. LEFT. COULD NOT STAY.

1. NO central A/C. Assumed there was as listed in amenities. (indoor temp between 82- 84 degrees) VERY WARM Because the environment was so uncomfortable, we left; rented a hotel room; returned home the next day....our 5 to 6 hr drive. This also happened due to the following: 2. No infö sheet available in rental for hosts' contact numbers or general information. 3. Called VRBO to get host's phone number 4. Owner argumentative on phone trying to convince us to opening windows and doors would solve the problem Told A/C a unit only in an upstairs bedroom. We were not planning to stay upstairs. Owner's suggested opening windows and doors. The living room window did not open and if it did, it is trapped by the AZ room. This room has two windows in a corner with broken locks and latches, which would not keep window open without placing a wooden block in there. However, we could only manage to open one of those windows. Screens in need of repair. No screen on patio door. SAFETY an issue with easy access to the inside of house PLEASE refer to review of 7/18/24, which states many of the same issues. Multiple communications with owners did not result in any resolution of these issues. Having rented with VRBO multiple times, this experience was a first! WE EXPECTED AT ARRIVAL (as required at 4PM) TO MOVE INTO THE RENTAL WITHOUT ANY OF THE ABOVE ISSUES. We are working at obtaining a full refund.

False Advertising - NOT Air Conditioned

This cabin is NOT air conditioned. We drove 5 hours to find a cabin which was 82 degrees in the kitchen & hotter upstairs. The only AC unit was a mobile unit in 1 bedroom upstairs which DID NOT WORK! The filters on it were filthy and kept tripping the unit. Even if it did work, it would mean leaving the door open to the rest of the cabin to try to cool the rest of the house down. Downstairs had 3 fans going circulating warm air. Normally if its 65 outside you open windows to let cool air in. Can't do that here. The living room window etc doesn't open & if it did it's trapped by the AZ room which has 2 windows in a corner with broken locks & latches that don't hold up the windows w/out placing a wood block there. As the locks on the windows were broken anyone could slide the windows up & get into the AZ room & then into the house as the doors to the house don't lock! Safety issues! The yard was full of dog crap. Prior people didn't pick up after their dog the entire time they were there & the cleaning people don't go outside I guess & look. The yard was not clear as in the pictures and had weeds etc. growing throughout making avoiding dog bombs difficult. Kennel provided was disgusting. Hosts while quick to call back were argumentative on the phone about the AC & situation. Husband was dismissive about the temp & stated ACs won't work if temp is 65 outside. Homes in 112 degree heat was cooler than this place & cleaner. 7/18/24 & still fighting w/ VRBO to refund remaining $ owe

Great Location for Mountain Stay

I brought my girls basketball team to stay for a tournament in Eagar/Springerville. An easy 15 minute drive there, and a good central location from which to explore the eastern White Mountains. Well appointed cabin, clean and big enough for all of us. We've stayed twice now and will look to do so again.
