This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a vacation rental. Upon arriving, the was dust all over the place. The bedding was old and stained. The house smelled like cigarettes. The kitchen had not been wiped down, with crumbs and food all over. The fridge had weird spills all over. The bathroom was disgusting. The sink had hairs and toothpaste in it. We contacted the host and asked for both bathrooms to be cleaned again. We came back and they had been wiped down. But still hair in the tub. We then realized that the shower in one bathroom didn’t even work. The outlets in neither bathroom worked, even after we tried to reset. There were no blinds on the front of the house so you could see right in at night. The windows didn’t seal well so we could smell the neighbor smoking outside. Then we tried to close the shutters in a bedroom and they were so caked in dirt and dust they couldn’t close. Floors weren’t mopped, no ones vacuumed in years. Overall, this house should be taken off VRBO.
