"To say our stay at the lovely "Rustic Retreat" was everything we'd hoped it would be, is an extreme understatement!Everything was perfect....and so much better than the pictures portrayed . We spent most of our time outdoors...nestled among the ponderosa pines....soaking in the sun and the crisp mountain air. Inside was cozy and intimate....just right for we two. All the amenities were well thought out as well....and Sona was an amazing host.Cant wait to do it again....we will be back! "

"The cabin had everything we needed for our little family. We loved staying in the woods with a short drive into town. Owner provided thorough information about the property and its amenities. If you are coming up from Phoenix, I highly recommend driving through Wickenberg/Yarnell. "

"Something for everyone and plenty of room. Great location with lake, food and downtown all close. Hot tub under the pine trees was amazing and grill on the deck just outside of the dining room was great. Kids loved the game room, toys and yard. Thoughtful baby gates and play area. "We were very delighted with our stay! If your looking for peace and quite this is the place to go! Chance and his wife put a lot of effort into making sure we had everything we needed for our secluded stay in the beautiful Prescott forest! The cabin was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and we absolutely loved the charming decor! We hope to come back in the future ! "

"We had a wedding almost right around the corner from this place. We knew it was going to be a late night and didn’t want to drive back to the valley so we decided to book here and we were so glad we did. When one member of our party wanted to leave we were able to take them to the VRBO and get right back to the celebration. The place is clean, nicely furnished and a great location if you are staying in Black Canyon City. We were very happy with our stay and extremely happy with the location "

"Everything worked out great, and if there was a problem, the host was very prompt to address it. Home was very well equipped with everything we needed and the place is very comfortable. Just take note that it’s not five private bedrooms, just three and the other two are joined with a shared bath. From the bunk room, you have to walk past the full bed and there is not a door separating the two. Was a slight inconvenience for adults, but with kids that would not be any problem. "
