Amazing!
We really enjoyed staying here. The property was exactly as described in the listing!!!! Many things available for use while there...such as beach towels, chairs, kayaks, games, lounge chairs, Netflix on the TVs, and soooo much more. We were here in early May and saw manatees as well! The only thing worth noting is that the stairs might be difficult to climb for anyone elderly or walking handicap.

Great getaway
Beautiful location right on the river with amazing outdoor seating right on the water where you can take in passing manatees, fish, and wildlife on the other bank. We used kayaks and canoes daily and enjoyed the location immensely.Although house is small, spacious sunroom and primary 2nd floor bedroom also share those same views. (Photos don't do bedroom view justice) House extremely clean and well appointed and host was very helpful with local suggestions.

Family trip
This is the second time we have stayed at this house. The location is great. You can walk to the nearby restaurant (Upper Deck) as well as Roger’s Park. If you don’t want to leave you can hang out on the porch and watch the manatees go by! So much fun!

Great spot on River
We stayed two nights and within a few short hours of being there a manatee swam right up to the dock and was eating algae off of it. It was a very cool experience. The location on the river is great. The river is beautiful. The property has several kayaks for you to pick from. When we arrived it was hot upstairs, we let the owner know and within 30 minutes they arrived to install a new unit they had just bought. The upstairs is older, but was clean. The stairs are narrow and steep, but well lit and has a gate (if needed). If you’re looking for a great spot on the river and enjoy seeing manatee, this house is for you.

Little River House
Great location. Loved watching the fun river traffic and the manatees. Kayaking was so much fun in either direction. Definitely something different than we’ve ever done. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything you would need. We loved it there. The only negative was the stairs. We really had to be careful going up and down, especially when carrying anything.

Wonderful stay on the river with MANATEES!
My family and I enjoyed the Little House on the River immensely and cannot wait to return. We saw a family of manatees upon arrival and more throughout our stay. Everything was perfect. The house was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and convenient to fun activities (kayaks and games) and restaurants. Thank you so much for sharing this gem of a place with us!

Manatee Stay
This was a great location to see Manatees and kayak. We also did some hiking at nearby parks. The dryer did not work. There was no hot tub as listed in the description. Overall, it was a nice stay and we enjoyed it.

Hi Rebecca, I’m glad you were able to see manatees and kayak and enjoyed your stay. I’m sorry for the inconvenience of the dryer not working, it has since been replaced. I’m still very puzzled as to how my description listed that I have a hot tub. I’ve never had one and I would never advertise for something that I didn’t have. You both were great guests and I sincerely hope you consider the Little House for a future stay. Thanks, Tina

One of a kind property for an amazing stay
I had an amazing stay at this property on the Weeki Wachee River! Waking up to have coffee and seeing manatees passing by was a surreal experience that I’ll never forget. The kayaking on the river was fantastic, and the proximity to Weeki Wachee Park for a mermaid show gave us plenty to do. The property was clean, well-equipped, and the owner's responsiveness and friendliness made the trip smooth. Highly recommend for a delightful riverfront getaway! My only regret is not staying here longer.

Awesome Location
Location is Key and this house is perfect. Quick walk to Upper Deck for Drinks/Food (suggest just sticking to the drinks) and an even bitter spot on the river. Stayed entertained watching people kayak past and good starting point to paddle up river. I would 100% stay here again. Only thing that got us was no gas grill, had to run back to town for charcoal. I’m sure it probably said that somewhere in the description but I missed it.

Lovely!
The house is perfect right on the river and was cosy and comfortable with need of a little more TLC if you’re expecting modern. On arrival the check in instructions did not help as the door was unlocked & there was no key in the lock box..we worked it out for ourselves after a little stress. We had a lovely 2 nights there & made good use of the river & the kayaks provided. It really is a beautiful spot & we’d stay there again

Best Time
By far our favorite vacation yet. We loved being on the river. The kids stayed in the heater from sunup till sundown. The river was beautiful and refreshing. Plenty of local restaurants to hit up within a short drive from the house. A+

Time on the River
Our stay on the river was enjoyable. The host was attentive to detail. There was every little kitchen item that a traveling family would need. Except a dishwasher. I’m sure it read accurately in the description, but in today’s day and age it has become an expectation. Dishes are never as clean as they could be when washed by hand. The stairs to the bedrooms are extremely steep and are difficult to maneuver if you aren’t limbered up in the wee hours of the morning. There is an upstair half bath but must be accessed through a bedroom which is awkward when everyone is sleeping. It should also be noted that the a/c is not in any way typical. It is very difficult to regulate enough cool to the downstairs without freezing the inhabitants of the bedrooms. There is minimal central a/c and the window units (traditional and stand alone) do not keep the downstairs kitchen, bath and living room below 80• when it is typical summer weather at the springs. We enjoyed cooling off in the water and exploring, but if you were a homebody expecting the same level of cool you experienced at home, you might be disappointed. Our favorite part of our stay were the multiple water vessels to choose from and cooking/eating outdoors (no indoor dining room or table to eat at as a family). All in all, this was our 6th visit to the River. Our first time in this house, but we would recommend it to friends, just with a heads up!

Wildlife, Crystal Clear Water, Comfort, Amenities Galore
Wow!! Where would I start. This home is amazing. We had 4 adults in our group and everyone had a blast. Manatees continually floated by, some right at our dock. There was an otter that visited each day and even climbed up on the neighbors sea wall. We heard owls at night and enjoyed the beautiful bird sounds and peace early in the mornings. Tina has splurged on comfort, the wonderful umbrellas by the water, the swing, comfortable loungers, firepit and charcoal grill. We had many choices for floating, the kayaks and paddle board made it so easy to just get in the water and take off. Which we did every day. We love people watching so that was fun at the dock while we weren't on the water with them. We also just got on our floats and floated down to Upper Deck and then walked back up the road. lol That's the best. The house is well laid out with lots of seating and games to play. We loved playing Donkey Kong on the pacman machine. No quarters needed. The beds were comfortable. Fans were available but the a/c is stellar. Hubby was walking around with a hoody on to keep us women comfortable. The kitchen was better stocked than any home we have rented so far. Yes, the stairs are steep but so doable. You cannot find a home more ready for your visit. Host is amazing. We would definitely recommend and stay in this home in the future. Thank you, Tina, for your wonderful place. Best wishes to you.

Quaint house on the river
My husband , daughter, her dog and I were in town for a celebration of life for my mom. This was a nice place to enjoy the beautiful wildlife and river. It was a very busy time on the river due to spring breakers but if you get out early it isn’t an issue. I thought the house was clean and beds were comfortable. I did not cook at the house but looked to be well stocked with items. Overall we enjoyed our stay and thought the host did a nice job with details about the house. This was my first time renting with vbro but didn’t have any issues as the host had a binder that explained procedures. The only cons I would say is the steep stairs and the privacy between the houses but I really enjoyed staying here and it made the sad circumstances of losing my mom a bit better. I especially enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and watching all the sights. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

A piece of heaven!
We loved this property and is one of our most favorite because it was so close to Hospital Hole- our annual trip is for the manatees especially. The kids enjoyed fishing off the back dock and we most enjoyed the manatees flowing by. We had a blast!! Thank you, Tina, for sharing your beautiful home with us.

This house was perfect for us. Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Grandkids had a blast with all of the games. Tina was extremely helpful when we thought we had left a few things behind. If you are looking for a peaceful place with great views this is it.
