This property was perfect! Beautiful landscaping and very clean inside and out. Quite neighborhood. Pool was ideal for when we didn't want to be in the spring and a night swim. They had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. It felt like home. The little side yard for our dogs was great! Getting the kayaks in and out of the water was pretty easy either using the ramp or the steps into the water. It was a quick paddle to the crystal clear water. 10 min drive to Publix, Target and many restaurants. We also rented a boat from Weeki Wachee boat rental, which was a 5 mins drive from the house. We were able to pull right up to the dock with the boat at the house. We will for sure be renting again next summer. Thank you to the owners for easy and great communication and wonderful rental property.

A nice place

We picked this house for the pool and it's location. The house is well kept and overall a nice place. The floors seem unlevel around the outside edges and the only reason I mention it is because the beds in the back of the house both feel like the head is lower than the feet. Also the master bed is a double size bed not a queen. The pool was murky upon our arrival and when the pool guy stopped by he said it hadn't been cleaned for almost 3 weeks due to previous renters which is really kind of gross. Unfortunately 2 days after it was cleaned the pipe busted and the pump had to be shut down. My last complaint is the air conditioning was not on or was set too high. When we arrived it was about 90 inside! The programmed nest seemed to turn off the AC or set it really high when we would leave, additionally it would go up to 74 at night. I really didn't appreciate someone else controlling the temperature of the property. Gratefully these problems didn't ruin our vacation but were definitely inconveniences. Like I said though, the house was nice, clean and recently updated. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks as that was the main point of our stay. Manatees frequently seen in the canal was the highlight of our trip. We appreciate the owners obvious care of the property and I wish I could have left a more positive review.

Brilliant

Fantastic place. On the canal, 3 mins kayak from the river, loads of space and a lanai/pool. Whats not to love! Ideal if you like to see nature and wild animals, but just as great if you simply want to lounge by a pool with a book.

Great Stay Overall

We loved the access to the river, kayaks, firepit and pool. Great family house and close to all the amenities (Buccaneer Bay, Weeki Wachee river, Pine Island, food, etc). We will be back for sure!!

Family Reunion

We are in town for a big family reunion celebrating Grandma's 95th birthday. We rented a few houses and this one was a great spot to get together with a group for swimming and entertaining. What a great location!

Family trip for wedding

We had a wonderful experience at the property. The purpose of our trip was a wedding, but we had some free time so really enjoyed the pool, the kayaks and the fishing poles. Seeing the manatees was a bonus! There were nine of us and had plenty of room. Everything was super clean. It was equipped with everything we needed, and even things we didn’t realize we needed! Everyone we dealt with was very nice and helpful. Would recommend this place for anyone!

Perfect place to stay

Having been a visitor in 2022 and again in 2023, all I can say is that this villa is perfect - everything we need, access to the river on the supplied Kayaks and loads of places to go, eat and have fun. An hour from Tampa, under 2 hours to Orlando and loads of great places nearby. Pool is a serious bonus too, ideal for when you just need to relax with a beer. Usual fast, courteous responses from the owner and manager too - always very useful. Looking forward to 2024 already. Mark & Sue

Beautiful home in Wicki Wachee

Beautiful home and location we loved that it was all ground level with a pool, fire pit and easy water access. Plenty of linens and well appointed kitchen. We would definitely stay there again

Great place to stay

Everything was perfect - not much else to say. There were a few niggles early on, but the management sorted those out really quickly for us - faster than we could realistically expect. Communication with Chuck was fantastic throughout - very attentive but not overly so, with rapid responses to all questions and clear, concise honest answers at all points. Plenty of room here, everything you could want was there (except an electric kettle, but thats a Brit' thing, and nothing we couldn't cope without via the kettle on the hob). And the coffee bar was a really nice touch too. Kayaks aplenty, with loads of vests and oars - these were amazing to have access to, and meant we were out on the river pretty much every day we could be. And when we weren't on the river, the pool was excellent and there's plenty to do in and around the area, with the obligatory visit to Universal top on our list. Comfortable, modern, well kept, beautiful views, fantastic neighbours (really friendly), restaurants aplenty, loads of amenities, nice pool, Lanai and so much more. Even managed to catch some fish on the supplied rods. Cheers Chuck - really appreciated the home from home. Amazing place. Mark and Sue

Memories

The property was amazing! Having the pool and the river was a win win for my kids and husband. We would definitely stay here again. We made so many memories and even learned how to kayak it was great we had a wonderful time and hated to come home. The only suggestion I had was a bigger trash can in the kitchen that one was a little small when you have a family especially if your using disposable stuff like plates and cups. We made do with the trash can there still wouldn’t keep us from going back.

Great retreat on the water!

When searching VRBO, we were looking for a place that my wife and her siblings could be under the same roof while in Spring Hill memorializing their father. What we got was MUCH more. This home is a retreat - spacious, comfortable, fun, great water access, relaxing…I could go on. They account for everything - including a quick game of UNO. While the home was spectacular, the service was even better. We had reason to contact the property owner because of issues with the AC. They were responsive and communicative through the entire matter. They made sure that the issue was promptly resolved, made sure that I was informed throughout, and offer fair recourse for the inconvenience. We will certainly be taking them up on their offer our next time in the area.
