Whacky spring weather went from hot to cold overnight, but the heated pool and spa still gave us hours and hours of fun!! Cabin is close to everything you could ever want to do in this area. Cabin has every single solitary amenity you could ever need. 2 seniors, an 11 year old and 7 year old had a blast!!! Your family will too.

The house is stunning, very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.The pool/spa were a big hit every day and the fishing right from the dock was enjoyable!Communication with the owner was great and check in/out was simple. Hernando beach is a great place to visit if “relaxing” is on your itinerary! We would definitely recommend this house!

Not as expected

The hot tub and pool seemed smaller than expected. Kids still enjoyed pool. The hot tub was difficult to get running, I had to ask since there were no instructions. Food was left in dishwasher so it smelled horribly when we checked in. Some mold in cabinets, under beds very dusty as were closets. A dirty blanket was thrown in bedroom closet. The keurig had a coffee pod left in there for a VERY long time. The water reservoir was dirty and had mold in the lid. Told owner of mold and dirty issues at check in, so hopefully it was better for the next guests. Had to fill pool the day before we left, per owner request.

Great retreat

Well maintained home; owner was responsive to questions and resolved an issue with the pool quickly. Kitchen nicely equipped. Appreciated and used the kayaks and bikes provided. The time went by too fast!!

Pleasant stay with family in Florida

The house was excellent for our Christmas visit with our son and his family in Florida. The house worked perfectly for us and Ed, the owner, was extremely helpful during our stay. We are looking forward to returning sometime in the future.

Hernando Beach Vacation Home

We spent 5 nights and had a great time. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The dock was great and we kept our boat in the water the entire time giving us direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. The owner made the rental very easy.

Pool and spa were great. View was amazing. Grandson visited one day and went kayaking with me his Grandma. Weather cooperated for relaxing outside. We found a nearby beach to watch sunset. Walmart close. Grillled mostly. husband has limited mobility

Relaxing stay

We had an amazing stay at Ed's house. The house has everything you could possibly need for the week. We loved the hot tub and pool and spent most of our time there. It was very quiet but close to great restaurants, kayaking, grocery stores etc.. will definitely consider renting again.

Great place to vacation

We had a great time at Ed's place in Hernando Beach. Ed was a great communicator and when I mentioned we had three boys ages 11, 9 and 9 and we were interested in bringing our bicycles he went out and bought three new bikes for the boys! We split time laying around the pool and investigating the local area and restaurants. We even chartered a fishing outing that took us 40 miles out into the gulf where we caught snapper, amberjack, grouper, grunts and hogfish. If you're looking for a great fishing outing get in touch with Mason at Royal Sea Excursions. We will certainly consider coming back next year at spring break! Thanks Ed.

Gorgeous getaway

This place was a little slice of heaven for the family and I. We had so much fun having access to a pool and it really made it special for the kiddos. Having the dock on the canal was a nice touch for some intermittent fishing too. I would 10/10 visit this site again!

Pure Relaxation :)

What a beautiful home! My wife, Sandy, is an elementary school teacher and we needed to find a nice place to relax and chill over her Spring Break. Well, we found it. Ed, the owner, was most gracious and wanted to make sure we had a great time. He was very easy to talk to and gave us pointers on a few things around the house. It was well stocked, very clean, the hot tub/pool was fantastic, and plenty to do around the area. Very enjoyable and we hope to be back to The Waters Edge soon.

Great winter getaway

My husband and I stayed at this property for 6 weeks. We loved the house and all the different outdoor locations you can hang out depending on the weather. The kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals and the beds were comfortable. We liked sitting at the veranda and watching the fish jump in the canal. The jacuzzi was a big plus, since it wasn't necessarily pool weather in February. We also liked having the Weeki Wachee Preserve so close by to take bike rides and walks. The only complaint we have is that there was a lot of construction noise due to one neighbor renovating his house and the other installing an inground pool, but that is not something the owner was in control of. Ed was super responsive when we had questions, always got back to us right away and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable.

Wonderful

We spent eleven wonderful days in Ed’s beautiful home. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean and decorated to an extremely high standard; the beds were very comfortable and as for the surroundings, the pool, the pier and the yard, you would never have guessed that Hurricane Idalia had swept through only a few days previously. All was pristine – with plenty of comfortable seats to enjoy the sunshine. Kayaks and bicycles were provided, although we never made use of them. Plenty of catfish available from the pier though – we left a rod for others to use Ed was very responsive when we had a small problem with the entry code on arrival and the issue was speedily resolved. Similar immediate help was given with starting up the pool spa and thereafter we encountered no more problems during our stay. The home is situated in a quiet residential area, where we felt very safe taking a stroll early morning. Shops and restaurants were only a short drive away. The surrounding countryside was stunning - woodlands and wetlands bordering the quieter roads. If it were possible to give this place more than five stars, we would certainly do so. Thank you so much, Ed, for sharing your wonderful home. Were we not now getting too old for transatlantic flights, we would be back next year for sure!

Hurricane didn’t stop us!

Our trip was definitely dampened by Hurricane Idalia! But Ed came through for us and we had an amazing time at his house! We had to wait out the storm in Georgia so we missed the first two nights at the house. Ed was so easy to work with and kept in constant communication about the weather conditions. He immediately refunded those two nights since it wasn’t safe for us to be in the area. The area was horribly affected but Ed’s house was built high enough and the pool survived too. The house is beautiful, well stocked, has all the amenities and was exactly what we were looking for. The pool and spa were amazing. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable and the house is just as pictured. Ed responded immediately to all of our concerns. If it weren’t for our constant communication, we may have cancelled the trip with the storm coming. But we knew what was going on through it all. He even bought a crockpot when I asked him ahead of time if they have one! We will definitely stay there again!

You'll feel welcomed at Waters Edge

We had a fantastic stay at Waters Edge! The home was just as pictured with phenomenal amenities, warmth and decor. This is a PERFECT Florida get-away home with your own pool and spa. The screened in area is a major plus! Ed was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any of our questions. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property to friends and family! Bravo to Ed!
