The good: it was clean, the interior was nicely updated and nice decor. The kitchen was huge and had a nice little coffee / tea bar, with good coffee provided.
The bad: we got there at night and could not get in. The key pad was finicky (it’s not lit up all the time, and when you touch it to ‘wake it up’ - that counts as your first touch of the code, even though you can’t see what # you are pushing). Then when we called the ph# to reach someone if there were problems - no one answered, any of the 3 times we called over a 15 minute period. Though when the property manager did finally call us, she was helpful and we got in.
When we got inside, there were several windows that were not locked. There was 1 that would not lock because window opening was warped. We took one of the flimsy/light weight aluminum tension curtain rods from another window and jammed it in the window as a make-shift dowel, to attempt to at least make window a bit more secure. The next morning, after I had already told property manager by text that my sister barely got any sleep because of window issue - she asked if our make-shift fix would work for the duration of our stay. Since I didn’t feel confident they would do anything to fix it pretty immediately / that day - I responded No, and that we would get a window lock for it. Which we did, and they reimbursed us.
The responsiveness and wanting to make sure everything was adequate was way below other places we have stayed.
