The perfect place to stay!

My family loved this apartment for its gorgeous decor, prime location and all the amenities. We stayed for 4 nights and had everything we needed. It’s such an easy walk to all the sights in Split. The owner provided refreshments and tips for our stay.

Perfect, location, location, location!

House Del Marco is absolutely wonderful! Jelena forgot nothing. Fun, eclectic decor. Great welcome snacks and info. So convenient to old town, market and a lovely park across the street. Overall, an excellent place to stay!

House DelMarco - Best Split Location

Jelena’s apartment was the perfect fit for our visit to Split. It’s very clean and spacious and has a washing machine. It’s located close to Old Town and has a bakery in the building. Jelena provided us with helpful hints as well as some goodies upon our arrival. Highly recommend this property!

Great Apartment. Great Location.

The apartment was very high quality, spacious, extremely clean, and well designed. Our host was very gracious and helpful. The fridge was stocked with thoughtful items. The location was great, very short walk to the palace. Highly recommend.

House de Marco is a great place to stay

We stayed for 3 nights during October. Split was our first stop in Croatia and we will remember House del Marco as a lovely starting place. The apartment is very comfortable, nicely furnished and spacious. There is a green park across the street and small shops, bakeries and restaurants line the street as you walk several blocks to the old town and Diocletian's Palace. Jelena was very helpful!

Awesome Stay

We loved our stay here. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Good communication with host. The added touch of having drinks and snacks available when we arrived was appreciated. Apartment is on the fourth floor, so expect stairs. Location was perfect and walking distance to everything. Parking was no issue as I was lucky enough to get a spot directly in front.

Excellent host and lovely apartment

Located within a ten mi Ute walk of old town, the apartment is beautifully decorated and comfortable for our family of four. Our host had water, beverages, fruit, eggs and milk Waiting for us saving us a trip to the grocery store so we were able to dive into our vacation. I should mention the cappuccino machine- could it be a better start to our mornings. I highly recommend this property/we would rent again.

Fabulous Stay in Old Town Split

What a fabulous flat! All rooms had air conditioning. The kitchen had everything you need and more! There were extra towels and linens. There were even extra razors if you forgot to bring one. We needed a late checkout and our host was very accommodating. And the location - don’t even get me started. It was right next to everything. I highly recommend this lovely flat!

Great property and location

Jelena was great as she provided all the information we needed for an easy check in. The property was just like the photos with every all detail covered. Tons of towels and linens and everything you need in a home, even a first aid kit! She stocked the fridge so that we had the necessities, plus some, even we arrived. Jelena came to meet us for introductions and for us to ask any questions. Location is perfect, close to everything you want yo see in Split! Recommend highly!

Friendly host and close to town

Host was very accommodating of our group consisting of three families (6 adults and 6 young kids). She was able to provide two cribs as requested and had plenty of extra linens, towels, ect. The kitchen is fully equipped with whatever you may need, and there is also a very nice espresso machine too. The host sent detailed instructions and videos to familiarize the apartment, recommendations around town, and also provided welcome snacks which was very kind. The only downside is that one of the two bathrooms is very small

Wonderful time

This was a great place. She had the place well stocked with essentials. The location was just outside of the “city center” but that was expected. All rooms looked like website. Only down was a little heavy on the floral scent but that is a personal preference

Amazing stay in great Split location

Jelena's property is highly recommended, and is as advertised and more! It is huge inside, with three lovely bedrooms (the master is enormous), and immaculately clean. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, including a lovely welcome grocery shop including prosecco from our wonderful host. Our group included my husband and me, our two boys (3 and 1), and my husband's parents. For the boys, Jelena provided a pack n' play and some toys which was perfect. They loved staying in the kid room. The location is amazing - just a few minutes walk from the downtown and water front and right above a huge park which the kids loved running around it. Food is very close by, with bakeries on every corner it seems. We had a car and found street parking no problem throughout the course of our 7 night stay. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay for families!

Amazing Apartment

Jelena was the perfect host. arranged a transfer from airport to Apartment and was there to welcome us, leaving us a fridge full of goodies . Apartment was amazing with just everything you needed. Only a 10 minute walk down to the historic area. Loved Split and the surrounding area. You don’t need a car to get about , as parking could be an issue . We used local buses and ferry’s We would definitely stay in Jelena apartment again should we stay in Split

AMAZING

Jelena’s home was amazing and in the PERFECT location! The apartment was beautiful, clean, and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. What made our stay so exceptional however was Jelena! We have stayed in a lot of VRBO’s but have never had a host so warm, friendly and attentive. Anything at all we needed she was just a phone call away. I feel I have gained a new friend!! Look no further if you want the perfect place to stay in Split! I highly recommend!!

Wonderful!

Jelena's property was well situated to all the main attractions in Split. The apartment was well stocked and did not lack any amenity. Jelena was the perfect host - providing us with the basics in the fridge as well as a local cell phone to use while we were staying in Split. Excellent experience in prime Split location

We had an amazing stay at House DelMarco in Split. Jelena sets the standard for what a VRBO experience can amount to. We were welcomed and had a very useful tour of house. Everything is in pristine condition. We comfortably slept 8. Jelena provided lots of useful information about the area and even booked transportation for our group to the airport. Will absolutely stay again next time we are back in the area.

Ideal place to explore Split - excellent facilities- and super host

One of the best equipped and luxurious self catering apartments we have ever stayed in . A terrific welcome grocery package was very much appreciated- as was the home made liqueur! forgotten any toiletries- no problem -plenty of spares ! - Jelena was a very good host - available at all times and full of hints for restaurants and trips etc.

Perfect Location, lovely host and accommodation

Jelena is one of the best hosts I have rented from. She is very friendly, generous and provided us with welcoming basic groceries, wine and snacks. She is a wealth of knowledge on Split and provided great recommendations on restaurants and wine bars. Jelena's apartment is in a perfect location...only a few hundred meters from the Diocletian Palace, the market and the Adriatic. There are many coffee shops, bakeries and a grocery store within a few minutes walk. The beautiful apartment is incredibly well appointed with absolutely everything one might need ... including an automatic espresso/coffee maker. It is the perfect place for a girls trip (exactly what we needed)! Thanks so much Jelena for making sour stay in Split so comfortable. If we ever return, we will definitely stay at your place again. The best vrbo stay ever!

I have rented several vrbo homes over the years, and have been a vrbo host myself. The combination of an excellent home with an even more excellent owner/host made for the best vrbo experience I've ever had! Jelena has the perfect home for a vacation in Split. We were a party of 4 for 6 nights and had plenty of room and everything we could possibly ever need. Jelena was so generous leaving a refrigerator stocked full of food and drinks, was fast and easy with all the communications, and was so helpful in greeting us personally and giving us loads of useful information. She emailed us helpful links, and also has a Facebook page that is very helpful with things to do in Split, restaurants, day trips, etc. The location was great, as we could easily walk to the grocery, restaurants, and the Riva for day trips to the islands. She even surprised us with a thorough cleaning midway through our stay and called for transportation for us to get to the airport. The only single thing I can possibly say is there isn't a dryer, but the outdoor clothes line and indoor hanging rack proved to be all I needed. If you're going to Split, rent Jelena's home as soon as possible!
