  • Best location in Diocletian palace just over looking the famous square called "Pjaca" close to everything - city museums, beaches, restaurants, famous landmarks, etc. Spacious 4 bedroom apartment ideal for 10 persons with amazing view and lots of natural light.
    Clock Tower Apartment is located in the top center of Split inside Diocletian's Palace, built into a Romanesque-era house, is topped by a bell tower. View from all 8 windows in the apartment its just amazing. Free Wi-Fi, 3 air conditioning and plenty of natural light are "must have" in all rooms. Apartment have wooden floors, TV, dining space, fully equipped kitchen with microwave and cattle, 2 bathrooms with hairdryer and shower, washing machine as well. Its on the 4th floor without elevator.

We stayed here the last 2 days of our trip. It was fun to be in the middle of the town. Amazing views. It was a great spot for the group of 9 of us traveling together.

Perfect Location!

We stayed 5 days in Split and it was the perfect spot! We were able to walk downstairs and immediately be in the heart of everything! The views are stunning!

Location, location, location

This is the best spot to stay if you want to be in Diocletian’s palace. Within walking distance of food, culture, history, and shopping. Plenty of room for 5 plus adults! Great communication with the property owner!

Great Location’

This is such a wonderful location! Mrs. Verdanda was an awesome help. She was on time and great! The furniture is a bit tired but that’s ok. A tea towel and more toilet paper would be appreciated. Also the one bedroom had no mirror. It was super cool to be in a 1700 year old building! We’d stay again just for the perfect location!

Great location!

We were a group of 8 which can be difficult to accommodate. This place did! You can’t get a better location at this price. This place is exactly as pictured. A great bonus is that it has washing machine! You do have to walk up a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment. We didn’t mind because it helped burn off some of the delicious food we ate throughout the day!

Surprisingly spacious, well located apartment

We found the apartment more spacious than we had expected, with good bedrooms and comfortable beds. It was well laid out for a family, with a slightly separate section of 3 bedrooms and 2 leading off the living area. Would have welcomed a larger coffee machine for this size of apartment, and a plug for the sink but we had everything else that we needed and these were minor inconveniences. A really stunning location right in the old city, in sight of the bell tower. Thankyou.

Fabulous apartment right in the centre of Old Split

I stayed for 3 nights and even before we got there the host was very responsive to messages. An airport transfer was booked for us which was really appreciated. We were met by a lady who showed us where the apartment was (just as well as we’d have never found it ourselves!) and gave us loads of good info about Split. It’s right in the middle of everything, big bedrooms and lounge and air con in most rooms which was needed. Highly recommend the apartment but it is on the 4th floor so it’s a bit of a steep climb. Still worth it though!

Amazing location, very spacious, quirky

Amazing location - could see the bell tower from one window and looking out over the main square and clock on the other. But still nice and quiet with the windows closed. Definitely not for those who can’t manage stairs. Check in very easy with great communication and the hostess came to meet us to show us the entrance (as a bit hard to find in the old town alleyways). Extremely spacious, aircon worked well (in 2 bedrooms and the main area, but served the whole apartment well if doors left adjar). Kind of a student doss house vibe, but we were expecting that and it in no way spoilt our stay. Clean, lots of towels and linen, kitchen well equipped etc. All very comfortable and a great stay, the only downside was the incredibly squeaky floorboards!

Emplacement exceptionnel

Parfaitement situé au cœur de la vieille ville, l’appartement est grand mais plutôt vétuste. Les équipements ne sont pas récents (cafetière inutilisable pour 6) et l’électricité parfois capricieuse. Mais nous sommes dans un bâtiment historique ! Attention, la beauté de la vue implique de monter plusieurs étages à pieds. Nous y avons toutefois passé un excellent séjour avec de l’espace pour chacun.

Authentic stay in Diocletian Palace

Our stay was great and exactly what we expected. We weren’t looking for a glamorous hotel, we were looking for a space for 8 people inside the old town of Split. The apartment fit our needs perfectly, it showed it’s age because thats what you get when you stay inside a UNESCO World Heritage Center. There are literally ruins outside your door. It’s a beautiful experience to be so close to history. We are grateful we found a place that met our needs of sleeping and showering with so much to do right outside the door. Old Town split is beautiful and the Diocletian Palace is amazing. I highly recommend an experience like this to anyone!

Great location!

As prior reviews had shared, location is excellent since you can walk anywhere in Old Town to shop and eat. The home needs updates made throughout especially with the beds and furniture. We were uncertain as to where to dispose of garbage during the week however but Ivana obtained a airport shuttle for our arrival which was very helpful. We had a wonderful time in Split!

Perfectly Located

While the property is in need of some updating, it is adequate and quite unusual to get such a large apartment right in the centre. We never heard the clock tower so no issues there, and the stairs up to the apartment would not be suitable for people with walking disability, however 5 of us over 50 did not find it too much bother. This place is all about location, and I would not hesitate to go back.

Amazing views!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay in Split. Everyone was so excited to stay in this amazing apartment in a clock tower in the center of town. All of the major sites were just minutes away from our doorstep. The views from every room were stunning. You could see the bell from one room (and hear it although it was not too loud) and the square from a few other. The apartment was very clean and well kept. Our hostess was very responsive and so welcoming. We were able to check in very easily when we arrived an hour earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in the heart of Split!

Perfectly located Clock Tower in Split

I highly recommend the Clock Tower in Split. We were a group of 4 couples with ample space for all. The view and location is second to none. Ivana and Mrs Vedrana are very easy to work with and quick to respond. Two things to be aware of ( not issues but more of a heads up ) , 1. While the location is central and convenient for sight seeing , it is difficult to find. I think our issue was that we try to find it ourselves without being familiar with Split. I recommend calling Mrs Vedrana immediately upon arrival and she will guide you in. 2. There is no elevator and you have to walk up eight flights of stairs. Again , these are simply for information purposes and not a knock on the location. We enjoyed our stay in Split. We'll definitely be back !

Palace clock tower

Loved the location of the apartment. The stairs were a killer, but knew there was no elevator ahead of time. Great space in the living room for everyone. Enjoyed the view over looking the square and the huge thunderstorm at night.

Spacious Stay in Split

Highly Recommend!! A few things about this space: - There is plenty of space in this space and incredibly comfortable!! - This is a GREAT location!! You're definitely in the thick of Old Town and quick access to the harbor. - Vedrana was awesome our entire stay and always available to help when these tourists were confused or lost. - This getting to the loft is a bit of climb so be ready or pack accordingly. - This spot is tucked away but easy for locals to find so don't be afraid to ask for help.

This apartment has a lot of room, is clean and is right in the heart of Split.

There is a wonderful view of the square from the bedroom windows. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well situated, with a fabulous restaurant at the front door.
