Our hosts were very responsive to our questions. Check-in was simple. The apartment was exactly as described. Clean and well maintained. Location was great, only an easy 10min walk to the historic center of Split. Our hosts surprised us with a beautiful cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. If we ever get back to Split, wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

Everything about the apartment appeared as stated EXCEPT there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke that persisted despite multiple diffusers throughout the apartment and opening of the windows. Otherwise, it was well equipped, walking distance from old town and the waterfront, had large bedrooms with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Air-conditioning worked well which was welcome in the very hot weather.

The place is very clean and relatively large. Unfortunately we had a problem finding parking and once we finally found a spot we’re too afraid to use our car the rest of the trip so took Ubers so we wouldn’t have to find parking again. It is not in the nicest area, not terrible, just not that close to everything. Our rooms smelled like cigarettes for the first day and a half before they finally aired out mostly. The hosts were very responsive though and check in and out were easy. The WiFi wasn’t working but hosts fixed it quickly. Overall the place is ok. There are some pros but definitely some cons to consider when choosing a place.

Great location, helpful hosts

The hosts were very helpful with getting us taxis and for accommodating early arrival times. The location was close to the historic center and there were groceries stores near by. The apartment was comfortable And had everything we needed. Would recommend staying here if in Split. We were able to park for free across the road

Nice apartment. Clean and nice fruit and munchies left for us. Never could adjust the TV volume up or shut off A/C.but comfortable temp. Owner easy to contact and helpful. About 20 minutes walk to downtown.

Lovely apartment in a good area of Split. Close to supermarkets and a coffee shop. Walkable into Split old town. Apartment was spacious and modern and had every amenity you could want. A big thank you to our kind hosts.

Great Apartment

Apartment was very clean and spacious with all the essentials needed. Short walk to Split centre and the harbour. The only issue was the bedroom i was in was next to the neighbouring flat and they were very noisy for a couple of nights, but other than that no issues.

Exceptional host with very nice apartment

APARTMENT - very nice, spacious bedrooms & living room area - even bedroom that faces busy street wasn't too loud with fan turned on as background noise - 1st floor made it nice to only have to carry luggage a few stairs from entrance - didn't cook, but looked like it had everything one would need - bottle of wine in the fridge & basket of goodies on the kitchen table was a nice touch LOCATION A little far, but nice to be away from the touristy Old Town HOST Our host was very nice and proactive. He helped advise us about transportation to the apartment, was nice to run air conditioning all day so the it was nice and cold when we arrived. We especially appreciated that as Split hit an all-time record high temp for June the week we stayed. There was also a regional power outage when we visited, and without prompting, Marin reached out during the power outage to make sure we were safe and comfortable, and provide us updates as he heard them on the news.

Excellent stay at superb apartment

Modern and very clean 2BR apartment up just a short flight of stairs was perfect for our 3 night stay in Split. The location is an easy walk to the old city center, palace, clubs, and restaurants. Our hosts, Zrinka and Marin, were super in every way and we thank them for their special efforts to help us find a place to park our rental car. Highly recommend. Bill C.

Great stay in Split

Very modern well maintained apartment in great location. Cafe bar and Tommy's supermarket, and bus stop, across the road, and a pizza restaurant and 2 other pizza takeaways nearby. Would highly recommend, and would love to go back again.

The apartment was exactly as shown and fully equipped. The hosts were really helpful, friendly and accommodating. City & Sea is the perfect name as each were in easy walking distance. For our first ever visit to Split it ticked all our boxes. Would happily recommend this to anyone.

Perfect accommodation

The apartment was perfect for us. Spacious and well equipped. The fresh milk and fruit on arrival made us feel very welcome and the flexibility on check out time was also very kind. It is no more than a 15min walk to Diocletian Palace so perfect for walking off our evening meal. Would stay again.

Perfect local stay in Split

We had a wonderful time in this apartment, which is a short walk from the old town but with a local neighborhood feel! Rooms were very spacious and apartment stocked with the basics. Grocery shop across the road was very handy and hosts were very responsive. Would stay again!

Wonderful apartment and host!

We had a great stay in Split. The apartment had everything we looked for and was really well placed for the city and sea as per its name! Zrinka was wonderfully helpful and even forwarded a couple of items my daughter forgot after we had left!
