"The worst, the bed bugs. They bit us and we had to kill many of them, full of blood. Also spiders, roaches, lettuce inside the drawers, a lot of dust and dirtiness below the bed, hairs in the towels,…a real disaster. "

"This place is adequate, but very basic. If you are there just to hike and then come back and sleep, it is ok. It was reasonably close to the train station, but there is a section you have to walk along a busy road. It would be better if you are traveling by car. Drains in the sink and shower are slow. It was very hot when we were there and it was difficult to leave windows open for fresh air because of the flies. May not be an issue if you come in cooler weather."

"Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in June 2026. The apartment was easy to find, the parking was very close by and the hosts did an excellent job of explaining the parking options and check in process. The small kitchen was very efficient and while we only prepared simple meals, the full size fridge and stove top, plus provided plates/cups/glassware would make cooking family meals a breeze. "The property is conveniently located between Thun and Spiez, with easy bus access to both towns. The bus stop is literally right downstairs, making it very easy to get around. The view of the lake is absolutely fantastic. The kitchen is well equipped, although we mostly enjoyed eating local cheese and cured meats instead of cooking! Overall, it's a wonderful place to stay for a family of four, and we would definitely come back."
