"Amazing accommodations! The Depot was exactly as it looked! Dishes and everything else you'd need, it was all right there. My 17yo loved the Hideaway bed and my 15yo son slept on the nice loveseat cause he is not "normal". Haha. The hosts were great and I would fully recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a fun and exciting stay in the gulches near Deadwood and Lead! "One of the best places to stay in the Black Hills. My husband, kids and I have stayed at many different locations in the area. Mountain Escape is our favorite. The location is perfect. Beautiful spot just a few miles outside of Deadwood, right on the snowmobile trails, and right next to the gas station to fuel up. The cabin is perfectly set up for our family. "Apartment was clean and felt recently updated, except for the original floors from the 1900's. Gave the place character. very nice full kitchen with bar seating. Bathroom could use a towel bar and maybe a grab bar in or near the shower. Walk to coffee shops and restaurants. Traffic noise quieted down at night. Bed was nice and large. All things considered a wonderful stay."

"My fourth trip to Deadwood and my very best. I have stayed on Main St. three of those times and this rental was just perfect. The location is the best for everything deadwood. Super clean, quite, so nice to relax on front porch, excellent laundry area, linens are high quantity, kitchen had everything we needed, check in and out was a breeze.
