"We had a great time staying at the Asylum house. I will not lie it was a bit scary driving up. Once there it was a blast. Walking around the old Hospital grounds. We think we got some voice box recordings. Did hear some screams, well we think we did. Saw the old Prison creepy for sure. Must go to the old cemetery. Could have used more towels, but that would be the only down side. So if your looking for a place that has a past, this is the place. Its a must see for sure. Thanks. John. "

"The property is a great place for family or just a relaxing visit. We caught a lot of fish and enjoyed sitting on the dock and porch. The house is nice and cozy and our group of 10 had plenty of room. The owners are great folks and respond to your messages promptly and will give you great advice on things to make your trip memorable.We sold our house at the coast and started renting VRBO on ga lakes. We will be stay with Gray family many times in the future. We will always check with them first...

"The entire experience once booked was extremely positive. The house is well maintained with lots of character, open concept, and in a great location. The owner has provided plenty of information to ensure that you don't need to hunt around and all tastefully done. There were multiple check-ins before, once your stay has started, and after the stay ends. Highly recommend giving this property a stay."

"Check in was easy, communication was great. The house had almost everything we needed - shampoo, hand soap, spices, baggies - you name it. Only thing missing, or maybe we couldn’t find in the 60 drawers was oven mitts. Otherwise space was ample and everyone had a place to sit. "
