A wonderful place for friends to experience the Tuscan lifestyle

This was a wonderful property if you’re looking for a quiet Tuscan experience. The host couldn’t have been more helpful -from the wonderful meals they prepared for us to the tour and travel arrangements they were on it!! The house is very comfortable and bedrooms comfortable and clean! We had a lovely time enjoying the hot tub. The pool would have been used except for the cool temps we had. I would recommend Villa Caggia!!!

A Tuscan Jewel: An Oasis of Art, Comfort, and Genuine Hospitality

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable Tuscan villa, and I must say, the experience was genuinely unparalleled. It is rare to find a place that combines art, comfort, and hospitality with such finesse, yet this villa achieves it gracefully. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Janine, who proved to be the epitome of a perfect host. She conducted a thorough tour of the villa, highlighting each room's unique features and the remarkable art scattered throughout the home. Many of these pieces are the work of the talented owner, Elisabetta, adding a highly personal touch to the inviting space. The atmosphere of the villa emanates the warmth of a loving family home, filled with decorative pieces that exude a sense of thoughtful intention. This is not merely a rental property but a home decorated with love and now being shared with the world. The kitchen, spacious and well-appointed, became the heart of our stay. It allowed us to create wonderful homemade meals that we often enjoyed while taking in the stunning vistas of the Tuscan sun setting over the rolling hills. The villa offers numerous spaces designed for different moods and occasions. Whether we wanted to gather as a group or find a secluded corner for quiet contemplation, the villa accommodated all of our needs. We hope to return and share this incomparable experience with more of our family and friends!

Trip of a lifetime

Jacopo, Mauritzio, and Fabio were delightful and most attentive to all of our requests and plans. They lined up a great driver for us who spoke very good English and a lovely guide named Mary Elena who took us on several tours of the small villages and the wineries around the Tuscan countryside. The villa was exceptional. Very modernized with everything you could hope for and yet awash with the sense of timelessness that permeates Tuscany. My husband and I travel abroad every year and have had many trips that were wonderful but our time at Villa Le Caggia stays with us like the memories of your first love. We are planning on a return trip in 2021.

A wonderful Tuscan holiday

We have little to add beyond the other wonderful reviews of this property, It was the perfect place for our Tuscan visit. We did side trips to Siena, Monteriggiano, and to the Chianti area. The house, pool, game room, and everything was perfect. Fabio was great throughout the booking process and arranged transport, day trips, etc. (We were one of the rare visitors to the property that did not book a car - we didn’t want the hassle. ) The real star of Villa Le Caggia is Maurizio. He came every morning to check on the house (and heat the wonderful hot tub!). He prepared our welcome dinner and also did a cooking class. Our children made ravioli, tiramisu, and a delicious pork dish. We took the advice of another reviewer and had him cook for us more than once. He actually cooked six of our seven dinners and they were superb! He also helped us with buying groceries or anything else we needed! In short, we recommend the property 100%. Amazing Tuscan experience!!!

Wonderful, charming property with all the modern amenities with no detail overlooked. Many delightful corners, spaces, activities for friends and family to enjoy their stay. Spacious bedrooms and more bathrooms than 10 people needed. Jacopo was a wonderful host, who made us a welcome meal for 10 weary travelers from various parts of the world. We also took advantage of Jacopo's Tuscan cooking class, which resulted in a great experience for all and a wonderful dinner. It was a great place to explore nearby towns, with rental cars arranged through Jacopo.

Absolutely a wonderful villa and great location!

We were met with a warm and sincere welcome from both Jacopo and Fabio. Great managers of villa. Made sure our stay was perfect. Villa was well stocked with wine for all 12 of us and plenty of room for all. Jacopo even had a guitar that my husband Greg played to entertain us all every night around the fire pit. Weather couldn't have been better. All 12 guests give it a A plus. Hope to return very soon. Robson party

In love with Le Caggia

Our stay at the Villa exceeded the entire groups' expectations. Completely modernized Villa with all of the original old world charm. The Villa and the surrounding property are both absolutely beautiful….plenty of space and clean, modern features. Jacabo and Fabio were fantastic hosts, cooking for us on two evenings and a great resource for local sights and travels. We loved the experience and would highly recommend this Villa to anyone wanting to experience Tuscany in all its glory. Rental car is a must but a great way to enjoy the travels to all the wonderful surrounding sites and communities.

One of the best vacations ever!

First: location. It is perfectly situated close to Siena and other amazing Tuscan towns. The drive was very easy (thanks to google maps) and easy to get around. Even though getting to Siena is only 20 minutes the property itself couldn't feel farther away (a good thing). It is quiet and surrounded by amazing beauty. The grounds are well kept (thanks Fabio)! I took so many videos and panoramic shots of the place because it really didn't feel real. It is STUNNING. Second: Amenities. A pool, hot tub, ping pong, hammock, badminton, fire pit... Not kidding! Amazing. And a washer AND dryer. Rare in Italy! And... wait for it... WINE. Fabio and Jacopo have wine from all over that you can purchase (at very reasonable prices) and tell them how much you have had. Many nights after the kids went to sleep we took a bottle and went to the hot tub. Who could ask for more? Third: Fabio and Jacopo. Best hosts! Jacopo helped us plan our trip and was always very responsive. He connected us with someone for wine tours and they were two of our favorite days (yes, with two couples and 4 kids). And the cooking!!! I highly recommend having Jacopo cook for you! We had long days of wine tours (sigh) and would make it back "home" at 6pm to an amazing meal. We only wish we had done it every night! We were two couples with 4 young girls (two 5 year olds and two 3 year olds) and it is rare to actually call a trip a vacation anymore. But this was. An amazing, relaxing, beautiful vacation. Thank you, Jacopo and Fabio for one of the best family vacations we will ever have. And we plan to come back!!!! xoxoxoxo

Perfect! Quiet, serene, just beautiful!

Visited for the first week of July with 10 adults. Absolutely loved it. Plenty of room, clean, comfortable and both Jacobo and the other manager were extremely accommodating. We had 2 meals cooked by them which were excellent and we would highly recommend doing this. Appreciated having many different wines available for purchase at the villa and very affordable prices. Would go back in a heart beat.

Family Vacation

I traveled with my husband and family to Italy for an eight day vacation. We stayed at this property from Nov 19 - 25. We arrived late to find Jacopo and Fabio waiting for us. The property was easy to find using GPS, the layout was just as described and we found hair dryers and a well supplied kitchen. It was very clean, well cared for and beautiful! Jacopo was helpful in telling us about the local towns, restaurants, parking and directed us to the local grocery store. We had use of the fire pit and hot tub while staying on property. Knowing we would arrive late they had stocked the kitchen with some breakfast foods for the following morning and took time to show us around the property. They set up a cooking class at the property for my daughters and I and did a full dinner of traditional Italian foods our last night there. We were able to travel to Siena and Florence by car. Thank you, Jacopo and Fabio for making our visit to Italy so easy! Janice

Beautiful property great for big group

We had a great time. Jacopo and Fabio were great hosts. They cooked us a delicious welcome dinner. Jacopo helped us with renting cars which became a nightmare until he stepped in. I wanted to give them 4.5 stars but system would not allow it. The half star is because of the distance from certain towns but if you have a car and enjoy travelling through the Tuscan countryside then this is a great place for you- truly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Thank you Jacopo for making our trip lovely!

Perfect week in Tuscany!

We just spent a perfect week in this Tuscan villa. So glad we chose to book with Jacopo and Fabio! The villa was lovely, relaxing, clean and spacious and Jacopo and Fabio made it a truly wonderful stay. There were 9 of us, 4 couples and 1 single and we all had our own space and our own modern bathrooms. All while looking out over the beautiful Tuscan countryside! After booking several months ago, Jacopo was quick to answer our many questions while we planned our first visit to Tuscany. The meals they prepared for us were a highlight and the local restaurants they recommended were charming and delicious and inexpensive. They also were helpful in arranging transfers and drivers when needed. The villa is not too far from Siena and many other Tuscan towns and villages. I will say, driving in Italy is a little stressful so It was great to come home to the villa after a day of site-seeing and enjoy a glass or two of wine around the fire pit. Even better was coming home to have a wonderful meal prepared by Fabio waiting! Just can't tell you what a fabulous experience this was and much of it due to Jacopo and Fabio! Absolutely recommended!

Our Italian Home

My family and I had such a wonderful time at this villa. We felt so at home it seems odd anyone else would stay there... it's ours! Our friends came to visit us for a couple nights and before they left they reserved it for next year. We ate outside most nights overlooking the blooming sunflower field. We woke up every morning to the sound of birds and the freshest air coming through our windows. My 2 year old daughter ran around barefoot on the most beautiful grass. We loved this home so much it almost made it hard to go sightseeing! We were very happy there and can't wait to go back.

A Perfect Week in Tuscany

Our original plan was for 4 couples to share the villa rental. Unfortunately, one of the couples decided not to make the trip for personal reasons. Then we were 6. Next the husband of another couple had back surgery, but despite having 3 months to recuperate, was not well enough to be able to travel a long distance. Then we were 4. Two weeks before we were to leave, the husband of the remaining couple fell and broke his wrist on one hand and his thumb on the other hand. Then we were 2! So two us got to share this amazing space that is meant for so many more people. There were so many rooms, we could have slept in a different one every night! The villa is off the beaten track so the only noise you hear are songbirds and an occasional rooster in the distance. It is easy to get to all Tuscany has to offer (but I would make sure I had a GPS.) Siena is close and has a large Coop Supermarket so you can stock up on all your needs. It was nice being able to have breakfast at home and stop somewhere for lunch. We also loved picking up fresh products and making dinner a few nights. The kitchen at the villa is fully equipped and the large fridge made it easy to keep on hand all that you need. The bedrooms are large and all of the bathrooms are modern. The grounds are beautiful and I don't envy the amount of work that Jacopo and Fabio do keeping the villa in perfect condition. The garden is very nice and there is lots of outdoor seating space with many chairs and tables. We really appreciated Fabio dropping by a couple of heads of fresh picked lettuce from the garden. Jacopo welcomed us with a delicious chocolate cake. I can't think of anything that the villa is missing, There is a washer and dryer as well as an iron and ironing board, Jacopo was always available via phone or text. His directions to the villa were perfect and even with my less than perfect sense of direction, we found our way without a single wrong turn(not counting getting out of the airport.). Jacopo and Fabio were waiting to welcome us to the villa and show us "the lay of the land." We were in contact via text during our drive from Florence. The villa has a pool which given our slightly cool weather we did not use as well as a wood fired hot tub. The wi-fi in the house works perfectly and there is cable TV although English stations are limited to news. However, we were able to watch Netflix so our entertainment needs were met.
