We loved the Seaglads apartment. Perfect amount of space for 2 adults and 3 teens. Proximity to Acadia was great, and we loved the dinner options in Southwest harbor. Would definitely stay again!

Acadian Condo

Nice unit, well decorated and good location but little sound dampening from upstairs unit and road noise. We could every movement and talking from the above unit. Recommend increasing hot water temperature and would appreciate nicer towel more dining ware.

Sea glass was just what we needed. Great proximity to Acadia, clean and comfortable. It’s true what the reviews said, since it’s on a main road, it’s quite loud. Bedrooms are on the front of the house so the sound machine and earplugs are a great and thoughtful addition. Would recommend to others!

Perfect accommodation for Families

We chose Southwest Harbor for our birthday weekend getaway. This apartment is exactly what the photos show. The view from the living area is beautiful and the kitchen is very well stocked. Communication with the host before arrival was very smooth. We appreciated the quiet hours since noise does travel in the building. The location was better than expected- close to the restaurants and shops in the town.

The condo was beautiful and well stocked. As I read in the reviews, the street is a little noisy. We were there off season so not too bad at night but around 5am it started with road noise. The owner did provide earplugs and noise cancelling machine, although we didn't use them. I would recommend going there

Nice unit - but road noise is significant

The listing does make the noise issue clear and they have made every reasonable effort to manage. But if you are noise-sensitive, you probably should look at a different property. Otherwise, we found the unit very nice. It's a bit more of a hike to get to the main Acadia attractions than we anticipated. But that's on us for not researching more carefully.

The property is as advertised,clean,nicely furnished,great location with easy access to park,nice view and near some nice places to eat. However, it's a little pricey(looking at total cost to include cleaning, tax,commission) as it does sit on a busy highway which can be a little noisy and we stayed on the 2nd floor and there isn't much in sound proof with the third floor.

Came for Acadia NP

This was our first time visit to Desert Island, Southwest Harbor and Acadia NP. The apartment was nice, had all the kitchen equipment we needed for 4 adults. The town was beautiful with great seafood restaurants. Regarding the accommodation, the second bedroom with the bunk bed was not the most comfortable for a 4 night stay for 2 adults and the noise level at night in both bedrooms is pretty high. They provide ear plugs, but you can still hear the traffic on the street and all the movement at the neighbors. Overall was a good stay.

Perfect space for girls trip

It’s a very comfortable space with comfortable beds and a well appointed kitchen. Walking distance to the quaint shops and restaurants, quiet compared to Bar Harbor and 30 mins to the Acadia. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Nice clean apartment, pretty - actually very loud

The apartment is very clean, well-equipped and has enough space to feel comfortable. Only problem: it is quite noisy. The road next to the property is very busy, cars and trucks pass almost permanently by from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The provided earplugs are a nice gesture and very necessary. The house is not very sound-proof, every step of the people upstairs can/must always be heard.

We had the best time at this condo. The place is perfect, so much space and a beautiful view. The location is also unbelievable with how close it is to the parks. We LOVED our little VRBO home and would love to stay again. Attentive host as well.

This place was extremely CLEAN and stocked with all of the amenities you would need for a stay. The location was great - not too far of a drive to the Acadia park entrance, but also away from the chaos of Bar Harbor. The check in/out process was simple and the host was very organized.
