"Was a short stop before I travelled by ferry, checked in late, had clear instructions from the owner, great communication. Room was really spacious, very comfortable bed and pillows. "I booked a sea view room. Stunning views over the Promenade. Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory. My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff."

"Firstly, the location of the property was not the easiest to find with one way parking etc and if unfamiliar with area. It had incredibly tight, cramped underground parking but at least there was parking. Check-in was via a lockbox which was very stiff. My daughter broke her nail trying to pull the lever down. Still fun and games trying to unlock door as one key turns one way and the other turns the other way! Unfortunately for us, there were lots of steps within the apartment itself so if...
