The property is located in a secluded cove with plenty of space outdoors to run around and enjoy the space. It's a lovely spot and we had a wonderful stay.

Fabulous location, comfy, cozy, and immaculate! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. It was a perfect location to explore Southport and Boothbay. A quiet, beautiful place.

THE PLACE WAS VERY CLEAN AND IN ORDER, MULTIPLE SUPPLIES LEFT WELL STOCKED . THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THE TICKS OUTSIDE WHICH IS REALLY A MOTHER NATURE PROBLEM BUT SOME INSECTICIDE ON THE GROUNDS MIGHT HAVE EASED THE PROBLEM . OTHER THAN THAT THE PLACE WAS GREAT AND WILL COME BACK AGAIN.

My husband, our 3.5 grandson our dog and I stayed for 2 nights while visiting Maine Botanical gardens. The home was perfect for us and the listing information was exactly what was offered. Would definitely stay here again.

Would 1000% come back here. The property is private and beautiful. Had a great time sitting by the fire in the evening, very relaxing, hosts are amazing.

We loved our stay. The view was beautiful and cabin was super cute. Very peaceful weekend. Our dog Greta loved the yard. Mindy & Kevin are great !!! We definitely enjoyed our stay !

Southport Stay

Beautiful area and location over looking the water. The kitchen was nice but not a lot of supplies for cooking bigger meals. Campfire had wood and we enjoyed having a fire and sitting outside.

We had a very nice stay at this cottage. It was clean, well-maintained, and the owner was incredibly thoughtful. We were welcomed with a special treat upon our arrival, which was such a kind gesture and made us feel right at home.The view of the bay was beautiful, and the little table overlooking the water was the perfect spot to sit with a cup of coffee and watch for birds. The outdoor space was also a wonderful place to relax and had plenty of room for the four of us to enjoy meals together.The cottage itself was a bit smaller than we expected based on the listing, and there wasn’t enough room for all four of us to dine comfortably indoors. We also found the ticks to be quite bad, even though the owner thoughtfully provided bug spray for guests.Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and appreciated the owner’s hospitality, attention to detail, and the cleanliness of the cottage. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy, peaceful getaway, especially if they enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in the beautiful bay views.

We had a wonderful weekend here! The cottage was just what we expected, and we were able to move right in after a late arrival. Everything was very nicely set up and we didn't have any trouble finding anything we wanted. Mindy did a great job of sending us info in advance, and the binder provided in the cottage covered all that and more.The location is really great: the changing views over the water were enjoyable, and places in Southport or Bar Harbor are both easy to get to. It's not far from the main road but far enough to be very quiet.We enjoyed a sunny Friday morning at the Boothbay Region Land Trust headquarters and a wonderful afternoon at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Bookstores in Bar Harbor took up half a very cold, wet, and windy Saturday while the rest of the day was spent in the cottage reading the books we bought!It was a great place to be in both good and bad weather. We'd be very happy to stay there again next time we're in the area!

Nice rustic cabin with thoughtful amenities. Aminda is a great host. The cabin and surrounding area was clean. Great for outdoor games and activities. The view was just perfect. So peaceful watching the tide go in and out of the bay. Purchased live lobsters from Robinson’s, just a short distance away. They boxed and packed them for travel as baggage for our flight home. A must go to, with the cheapest live lobsters and fresh vegetables is “Beths Farm Market” in Warren Maine. A MUST GO TO. You will not regret it!!!
