Excellent choice

Met by manager/owner, very helpful, and friendly. House was as advertised and more. Will definitely stay there again, hopefully longer.

Great location

Walking distance to downtown Southport. Close to Bald Head Island ferry. Short drive to Oak Island beaches. Quiet neighborhood. A very good location for a quiet relaxing vacation.

Family reunion

Perfect accommodations clean, everything we could need and more. The host Andrew and Sarah were great host. Would definitely rent again . Thank you for sharing your home.

Southport celebration of life

Perfect location and setting for family get together. Large well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating. Loved the front porch and watching the ships go by. Owners very accommodating and easy to work with. Appreciate their kindness.

Vacay after Debby

Mini vacay right after TS Debby! Communication with John was excellent keeping me updated on the weather and possible flooding! We took a chance and had a fun, rain-free weekend! Enjoyed our stay in Southport and nearby beaches! Would highly recommend this property! Very cozy!

Southport Charmer with Room to Spare

Following a week beachfront on Caswell we added a couple of days to our vacation so we could take advantage of all Southport has to offer. This house and its location was perfect. Spacious updated home with lots of charm and bathrooms to spare. Everything was ready for us with plenty of towels, fresh linens and a spotless home. Even met a couple of neighbors who were very friendly. We will be back!

Wedding weekend in Southport

This was a perfect house for getting ready for my son's wedding and for him to have his guys there before the wedding to congratulate him, get pics putting their ties on, and staging before heading over to the wedding venue. The house is comfy and roomy. It's much larger than it looks from the outside.

Historic

We loved the place. The only priblem was the coffee maker would not keep the coffee hot.The choirs and sofa in living room area have a lot of ware on them and could stand a replacement . The toilet seat in the queen size bedroom needs to be tightened. Location was great and the house was clean, however the refrigerator needs to be cleaned out after every rental. Lots of stuff in it. We could not get the water machine to work eithet! Lynda Steele

Great house for groups

House is well stocked with kitchen and pantry items. Drip coffee maker is Krups so cone filter. Three bedrooms, 3 baths, plus full bath off the kitchen! Good water pressure. Very clean. Owners very responsive. We LOVED the house, 5 adults, 2 couples and a single person! Two rooms where you could have different things going on if you have adults and teens. Front porch caught the breezes, and we utilized it every night. Beds have memory foam mattresses or soft top mattresses. Most of the appliances are updated so make sure you understand how to use washer and dishwasher. NEST is easy to use once you figure it out. If you're looking for a good location with PLENTY of space, this is an IDEAL home!

Amazing family vacation

Loved Southport! Adorable historic town you can ride the golf cart around to get coffee & ice cream! It’s also Close to Caswell & Oak Island beaches and Bald head island (worth the trip! Just bring water & snacks & rent a golf cart). The house was set up fantastically! Each room was good sized and there were bathroom for each bedroom. The living room was comfortable & relaxed with an open area great for a large family to gather! The kitchen was well stocked & modern. They have a lovely live edge table that comfortably seats 8 people. This adorable house is on a quiet street so no danger worries about the pets & kids. It has a precious front porch with a great swing that seats two people and the porch has a gate with keeps the kids & pets corralled. We made so many wonderful family vacation memories! This house was the perfect spot for our family as a 1/2 way meeting point. The owner was fabulous and super accommodating! Many thanks to him! The only negative was having to leave paradise behind! If you get a chance to get away this is an amazing destination!

Girls weekend getaway

We enjoyed our visit to Southport for a girls weekend to attend my future daughter-in-law’s bridal shower. The area is beautiful and the House is clean and roomy. It was perfect for our stay. The house was very clean and was in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Place!

The house is more spacious and comfortable than the pictures show - 4 full baths and big bedrooms with 3 good beds and a fold-out couch. The location allowed easy access to town and Oak Island/Caswell Beach. We found the house and linens clean, well equipped, and generally in good repair. Air conditioning worked well, but we struggled a bit with the Nest thermostat. We would rent again in the future.
