"I arrived in an ice storm, and I was desperate. I had made my reservation online, but when I arrived there was only a room available on the second floor. They refused to let me go up because I was a Senior and it was so icy and dangerous. Instead, they took the time to clean and prepare another room on the main floor and made me feel safe and protected. I was so grateful! "

"It was even better than we imagined! This was our first time staying in a bunkie but it was so comfortable and has everything you need. We loved the private meadow/forest trail and one of the highlights was kayaking the Beaver River. The owners are so kind and not far if there's anything you need refilled. Also, the duck eggs are a must try!! The location is great too! It's on a back road but closest to venture out and explore the beautiful Beaver Valley. We'll definitely be returning :)"

That being said, my overall experience was good (except for some noisy people in the room upstairs, which I reported to reception, but it wasn’t really addressed); it’s close to the town and in a quiet area, and unless you have noisy neighbors, you should have a pretty decent night’s sleep.
