Wonderful Host! Jessica was easy to communicate with and very helpful in planning our trip. The home is spacious and each bedroom is very private. We LOVED having dinner on the patio in the evenings to the sound of the surf and the frogs. Check with Jessica about the best way to get to the beaches just below the house. We walked comfortably with three teenagers but the South road could be busy and not a lot of apron in a few spots. It took us about 15-20 minutes. Once the Princess Club pathway is open again, the walk would be quick and easy with just about any group that can manage a hill. Best part of this location is you get Horseshoe and its coves almost to yourself in the morning for a walk and after about 4 or so. We played by ourselves until 7 and walked home to grill out for dinner on the deck. Also a nice walk down to the Railway trail and up to Gibbs Lighthouse from here. Take the trail going West from the house. It’s beautiful.

Horseshoe Bay

We were all amazed at the beach view from the house. It was so perfect and we would all stay again there. Jessica was a great hostess who answered every and all our questions and requests. I give this hour a 10 out of 10Stay here, you won’t regret it.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Everything was just as shown online. Plus, the kitchen supplies and anything else we needed were available. A great time was had by all six of us. Jessica was very helpful at every step. Some of us used the hot tub every day. Overall, the place exceeded our expectations.

Bermuda at its best

Can’t say enough great things about this property. We love Bermuda having been there several times staying at various resorts. This property brought a whole new charm to the island for us. A true Bermuda experience. Everything about this house is beautiful and charming while providing every modern convenience. Waking up to the sunset over Horseshoe Bay was amazing. Not enough space in this review to say all the great things I could about our stay. The hosts went way beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to return. Special thanks to Jess!

Wonderful property and hosts

We had a wonderful stay with gorgeous views of Horseshoe Bay! Our hosts Mike & Jess are great people, very kind and accommodating. The house was spacious and very clean :) Please note that the hotel and underground street to the beach are currently closed with the exception of the golf course and one of the restaurants. Try to book your transportation in advance (electric cars, mopeds etc). Our hosts also gave us names of taxi drivers and we were able to use the same driver to take the 8 of us to the beach and to dinner each day.

Family vacation

We just came home from an amazing week staying at this beautiful property. Everything about our week and stay in Bermuda was amazing. Jess and Mike were great hosts. Jess was always prompt in answering questions we had before we left. She provided contact information for taxis, grocery shopping, restaurants, etc before we arrived to help us plan our stay. Jess greeted us upon our arrival to welcome us, give us a tour of the property and check if we need anything for our stay. The house was absolutely beautiful with views of Horseshoe Bay from the deck, as well as, every room in the house.The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the week. We are disappointed our vacation is over and hope to be able to return to this beautiful home another time.

Special Property in the best Location

Wow! My extended family of three generations had the most wonderful repeat time in the Burn's property. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen to make many intimate meals at home and enjoyed the beautiful views of Horseshoe Bay from the deck's comfortable lounge chairs and had cocktails in the outdoor sitting area on many nights. The house easily absorbed our party and we all found places on the deck, in the hot tub, and in the interior living spaces to socialize or find time alone. The place is decorated beautifully. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds comfortable. Mike could not have been a more supportive, communicative host. We did not want to leave this slice of paradise and hope to return!

Our week long stay at this beautiful home was fabulous! We celebrated our 70 th and 13 th birthdays and our 47 th anniversary. Everyone enjoyed a different experience, golfing right down the street, digging in the pink sand, walking the gorgeous beaches, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the quiet deck with the breathtaking sunrises. Taxis were prompt, whether by phone or Hitch app. We rented an e-car through Rustic Rental near the airport. Reserve a few weeks in advance, we waited till we got there and almost missed out. Hills too steep for bikes and roads too narrow. Never could find the close access to Railway Trail. Grocery stores close by car, and best bakery next to Market Place. Hosts so helpful with recommendations and Jess even loaned my daughter clothes and sandals when her suitcase failed to arrive for 3 days! Perfect place for our family of 6. Memories for a lifetime!

Vacation in Paradise

Wow, what an amazing week at this beautiful home in Bermuda! From the moment we arrived, Mike and Kim made our entire family feel so welcome and greeted us at the front door. The house was perfect for our family of 5 - with everyone having their own private space and bathroom. The outdoor area was our favorite place to take in the spectacular views of Horseshoe Bay and spend time with each other after a day at the beach! The location was ideal with a short walk to the beach and a 10 minute drive to a number of restaurants. We enjoyed one afternoon at the most scenic par 3 golf course - just feet away from the property along with a great restaurant and bar. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an escape to paradise. We can’t wait to come back again!

Amazing view with great owners--a few odds/ends

I can't say enough about the property's owners Kim and Mike----at every step, they were accomodating and pleasant. Our flight arrived early from the States and they -allowed us to check in earlier without hesitation when we asked them for a place to store our luggage. They offered suggestions on places to go and eat. They even suggested a private chef who made us a memorable meal for my father's birthday. The view from the balcony is tremendous. It looks like you can literally jump onto the beach from the balcony---Alas, it is a little longer to get to the beach than it looks---a mile+ of up/down which is not a problem when it is nice but is a problem during the high heat and humidity of August. This is not a property that you can go up/down to the beach when you feel like it. Returning from the beach is a slog. Sometimes you can hail a cab to run you up the hill but this is a daily negotiation with taxis who may not want to take you up the hill and lose their spot in line waiting. The beach itself is magical but it can also be overun on days when there are 3-4 cruise ships in port. None of this is a reflection of the property but just a warning of sorts. As for the property itself, the kitchen is well apportioned although the oven is a little frustrating to use----Some of the towels/linens could be freshened up but this is hardly a dealbreaker. The hottub was clean and nice---but it was a little too hot to utilize it or the outside ammenitiies during a hot and humid week.

Breathtaking property!

Breathtaking property! We had an absolutely fantastic vacation!! Thank you so much for offering your home to us, for an incredible week in beautiful Bermuda. This home was not only beautiful, with an incredible view of Horseshoe Bay, but equipped with everything a family would need. We used every amenity that this property offered, inside and out. Everything was perfect! This property was very clean and well maintained. Perfect driveway space for scooters/rental vehicle and for taxis to pick-up and drop-off (with turn around space). The hosts are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. We highly recommend this property! If we could give 10 stars, we would! We will definitely come back.

Spectacular

If you’ve never rented one of these properties, you are missing out on an amazing trip! The property was everything it said it would be and more. The views from the immense deck were absolutely stunning even through the raindrops! We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the ease of ordering for grocery and liquor delivery from the websites that were provided by Kimberly. Mike was an amazing communicator and responded promptly to any and all of our requests. Although the weather was not on our side, we did enjoy a beautiful day at Horseshoe Bay and Astwood Cove. It had been 25 years since our last trip to Bermuda and it was still as amazing an island as we had remembered! Although climate changes through us a bit of a curveball, it Will not deter us from returning again in the future. Thank you Kim and Mike and Laura for letting us share your beautiful, well appointed home and island! Fondly, Becky, Jeff, Britt, John & “Uncle Tom” ♥️

Truly Amazing Views! Beautiful Home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The views are absolutely amazing from every room. You can hear the ocean waves from the back patio. The hot tub and fire pit were a great plus at night after returning from the beach. There is a grill and fully equipped kitchen. We were a little disappointed that the Fairmont hotel was closed since we thought we had more restaurants within walking distance and the walk to the beach was a little farther than described being that the hotel is closed, but we enjoyed the beautiful walk. Mike and Kim were very accommodating, responsive and helpful. They helped provide us with info to have groceries delivered to the house and were there to meet them before we got there. We hope to be back again!

Great house with AMAZING view!

The house is beautiful & the views are breathtaking! We traveled with friends (3 couples) & the house provided plenty of space. The view of Horseshoe Bay is so stunning you may not want to leave the house! There are a couple restaurants within walking distance. The hosts, Mike & Kim, we very kind & helpful. We have stayed at many rental houses & this is definitely one of the best!
