Lovely property right on the water

Beautiful house on the lake on a quiet dead end street. Nice cozy interior and four decent sized bedrooms with ample spaces to be alone. Fully stocked kitchen and a pool table in the basement which was a big plus for our group. The weather was bad so we didn’t go out on the lake but there was a canoe etc… for our use. Great property I would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Exceeded our expectations!

This house on Long Pond was just what we were looking for to spend some time relaxing and enjoying the Cape. It provided all of the amenities that we needed, including a pool table and games for rainy day activities. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glassware, and pots and pans (although the pots could use a little update). The master bedroom had a very comfortable bed...much appreciated! And we loved having our morning coffee on the deck, watching the swans sail by on the pond. Aside from a minor inconvenience of having to use the basement refrigerator (the kitchen fridge had a temperature issue), we enjoyed our visit and will definitely consider returning on our next visit to the Cape. Thanks for sharing this lovely house!

Comfortable house, situated perfectly on a serene and beautiful pond

Being on the serene and beautiful pond was great for us, our three granddaughters, and their parents. The youngest, age 6, loved fishing with her cousins, and they all went kayaking and canoeing too. The house is comfortable and situated perfectly overlooking the pond-- and in the quiet neighborhood. We were able to get to both W. Dennis Beach and Mayflower beach in minutes. It would've been perfect if we had at least until noon the day we left. ( Would it have been enough just to strip beds and leave sheets and towels in the laundry room? We weren't sure about laundry expectations and may have done more work than we were expected to-- washing and drying sheets and towels. That kept us from enjoying the very short morning time our last day.)

A great location

Unfortunately, we had selected this house because it met our sleeping arrangements but when we arrived much had been changed. We rearranged and then ignored the recycling ( just added to the shelves stacked with other people’s). Otherwise, the house was great and the kids especially enjoyed the boats and paddle board.

Girls Trip

Great house and beautiful view. Very clean. Showers were nice with good pressure -shower head height low upstairs We loved our visit but here are A few comments/suggestions Fireplace didn’t work. We were told previous renter broke it and it wasn’t repaired for our stay Outside fire table didn’t light and propane tank seemed full. The large bed in the bunkbed room-too soft to sleep in and kitchen could use more pans, coffee cups and wine glasses and add trash cans in bedrooms

Everything we needed!

This property was perfect for our quick trip to the cape. It was on a beautiful lake with an amazing porch! It was spread out plenty in the house for multiple family members to have privacy when we needed but also come together for much needed quality time.

Beau4house on a quiet pond

Great house with plenty of space for any group. The house was clean an right on the water. We had lots of issues with the tv roku. The remotes didnt work and when we found one that worked, the battery died shortly after. We had to move the roku from the bedroom to the living room. The deck fire pit didn't work but the veiw is so beautiful and serene. The house is ckean and spacious. We were there for a girls weekend and had a great time!

Great place for family and friends

My friends and I had a great time spending a long weekend together. The kitchen is open to the dining and living room which makes it great for cooking and hanging out. Outside space is very comfortable and quiet as well.

Totally serene

We were extremely pleased when we walked in the door. Everything was lovely and well kept. The views from kitchen, living and dining rooms were amazing and relaxing. I personally could have lived in the sunroom alone. Everything was there that you could need. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but the bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. I appreciated that there were multiple tv’s. This time of year when you can’t do many outdoor activities and having teenagers, they were very helpful. And having the pool table kept all of us busy. We wish we could spend a month, it was perfect. Thank you

Cape Cod lake house

This is a great property located on Long Pond. It is perfect for families. A nice beach behind the house was perfect for our grandchildren. Kayaks and other water toys were great for the adults. I highly recommend it for families.

Cape visit

Great location on the cape to visit the attractions. Close to groceries, fuel, and restaurants. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck overlooking Long Pond, including a propane fire pit for the cool evenings. Wish the windows that lookout the back of the house weren’t fogged between the panes. Few other minor maintenance issues could be addressed. Enjoyed our time there.

Rather sleep under the stars

Upon checking into this home the smell of entire home made it unbreathable. It was a combination of mold and a musty smell with primary bedroom smelling of dog pee. Rooms were not as pictured online with a tv missing in primary bedroom. Outlets did not work in primary bedroom . Two bedrooms had holes in the wall. The bunk bed safety rail was broken, preventing a young child being able to sleep in it. Bathrooms had black mold in ceilings. Carpet going upstairs had too many stains to count. Rental company-VaCasa, was able to give us a full refund due to the issues.

Great Spot for a Getaway
