Everything was perfect. We have stayed in numerous houses, beachfront condos, etc. across the country and abroad. Everything about this cottage was exceptional. It was better than one that we owned for years.

Me and my husband stayed with another couple. The home was perfect. Very quiet backyard on a beautiful pond. We enjoyed kayaking and sitting by the fire. Well stocked kitchen to do some cooking. Bedrooms and living room was very comfortable. Great location to explore the Cape. Highly recommend. Hope to stay here again on my next visit.

This cottage was a great place to stay! I loved the water views with beautiful flowers and wildlife to watch from the back deck, hammock, fireside or even from the living room! The large windows let in so much light that you felt outside even if you weren’t! The house was well maintained and appointed with all the essentials and more. The hosts were great with communication and very responsive. We had such a great stay and already miss it!

The house and amenities were wonderful, enjoyed the lake and kayaking immensely! The house was clean, bright, inviting and had everything I needed and wanted. I loved waking up to the lake right outside the door each morning.

An easy waterfront stay in the cape, recommended.

Visited with four adults and two children. The home was well appointed and clean. Kayaks and beach supplies were a plus! Easy communication with the owner.

Serenity Cottage on Labor Day

We enjoyed our stay here very much. There were so many great things about this house… the precious decor, the gorgeous view and fire table, and the helpful hosts who were easy to contact. There was one drawback… the upstairs bath is tiny, and the upstairs is where most of the beds are.Three women shared that bath, and there was no place for toiletries, no place to hang towels, and no ventilation , which made it very stuffy. You can’t get a good idea how small it is from the photo. For paying almost a thousand dollars per night (holiday rates), I was disappointed with the bath. Otherwise, all was great! Martha Hand

Perfect house for family vacation

Perfect house for 6 of us to stay for a week on the cape. Living space was comfortable for all to be together, kayaks on the lake were fun and close to good restaurants and activities. Really appreciated the list of fun things to do! Highly recommend!

Wonderful house on the Cape

Great communication, and an even better house. Beautiful up on Cape Cod, and central enough to see all the historic sites and little towns without feeling like anything was too far. We could not have been happier with our choice!

Serenity Cottage lives up to its name

Serenity Cottage is the perfect name for this charming Cape get-away. Despite being in a location very convenient for groceries and all the things you’ll need on a vacation, the house and back yard boast a privacy more like you’d find in the country. Despite having neighbors on ither side, Serenity’s peninsula location on Long Pond provides a lot of back yard privacy and a back deck that can only be seen from the pond. The house itself was bright and cheery with plenty of windows to let in the sun and enjoy the waterfowl on Long Pond. Serenity appears to have been recently renovated and all of the furniture and linens looked fresh and new. Serenity is centrally located on the Cape, making it a great starting point for any day trip. Tom and LeeAnn were accommodating and gracious hosts who offered us a ton of ideas for our long weekend. All in all, we had a wonderful family retreat weekend and it’s safe to say we’ll be back to stay at Serenity in the future!

Friends weekend

Amazing place! We had a wonderful time. Only issue and this could be personal the upstairs beds are quite firm. We are already trying to figure out the next time we can come back. Looking forward to staying again. Lee Ann was great always able to communicate with her.

Relaxing

The owners are wonderful to work with. Our group of 3 couples found all pictures of the home true to form with all that we needed. The place was spacious & comfortable. We had a great time in the backyard overlooking Long pond, relaxing in the sun with one getting in some fishing and another kayaking around Thank you again for sharing Jackie & Friends

Magical place!

Serenity cottage is a truly magical place. The cottage is cozy and comforting with unbelievable views. The cottage is tucked away on a wonderful piece of property that feels very private and calming. You can lounge in the hammock, sit by the fire pit and take in the stunning views and go for a peaceful ride around the water on the kayaks. We took so many awesome photos of the views at sunrise, dusk and in the moonlight. We felt very calm and at peace during our stay here. The hosts are incredible too…Lee Ann and Tom go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. They sent a list with many recommendations for places to eat and things to do/see. Our family fell in love with the cottage and we will absolutely be returning. I highly recommend the cottage!!

Perfect weekend getaway

We just loved your home. Everything was so clean, well stocked, large table and living room for great conversation in comfort. Bedrooms big. Looking out on the lake was just so beautiful and calming! AMAZING Yarmouth home right on Long Pond

This is one of the best Vrbo rentals you will ever experience. Lee Ann thought of everything when supplying the home with decor, goods and amenities, and everything is of high quality. The home is beautifully decorated and Lee Ann is attentive to all details - hand cream in both bathrooms and at the kitchen sink, fun popcorn containers for movie night, whimsical corn on the cobb holders, wooden sticks for making S'mores, a truly fully stocked kitchen, plentiful life vests of all sizes, numerous beach towels, beach umbrellas and chairs, wonderful and vast collection of interesting and best selling books, a basket of soft blankets near the living room couches in case you feel chilly, numerous streaming services - I could go on and on! I also really appreciated how communicative and helpful Lee Ann was before and during our trip. She emailed me a wonderful summary ahead of time, of things to do on the Cape and in the local area. I referenced this list daily during our stay, we went to many of the recommended places and were super pleased! The beds are super comfy and the perfect level of firmness - again, high quality. The air conditioners in every room worked beautifully and provided great white noise to help us sleep even more soundly. The washer and dryer are brand new and advanced in technology. Last but not least we REALLY enjoyed the kayaks and stand up paddleboard to explore beautiful Long Pond! It was super peaceful and serene being out in the middle of the pond, together with the 2 white swans and the flocks of geese - I didn't want to come back ashore! We also enjoyed playing corn hole in the backyard. There is also a nice sturdy hammock set up, and plenty of very nice seating for outdoor dining. We did not have time to use the backyard fire table but it looked awesome. Thank you, Lee Ann!

PERFECTION!

Serenity was everything we hoped for! Our family of 6 enjoyed the lake, kayaks, fire pit and all of the small details provided by the owners. We travel quite often and always rent homes and this has been one of our favs! Spacious enough to spread out yet intimate enough to spend quality time together. We will be back for Summer 2023!

Cozy and comfortable cottage with stunning lake views

We enjoyed a 4 night family vacation at Serenity Cottage in April 2022. The house was bright, comfortable and clean - with great amenities, a lot of nice thoughtful touches and plenty of space to accommodate our family of 7. The house is in a great location to use a base to travel around Cape Cod but there is plenty to do and lots of great restaurants nearby. However, best of all are the views overlooking the lake The hosts, LeeAnn and Tom were extremely helpful and responsive. We would thoroughly recommend Serenity Cottage for anyone considering a stay in the Yarmouth area.

Great weekend away in beautiful lakefront cottage

We had a fun change of scenery with a weekend away in South Yarmouth. We were eager to see and explore Cape Cod off season. The Serenity Cottage is beautiful. The views of the water from the cozy house were amazing. We loved the clean and beachy decor and all of the sunlight that came into the house. Owners were very thoughtful with black out shades in the bedrooms! Layout was great with master on the 1st floor and 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. It was chilly and it snowed during our adventure but house was comfy and warm. We drove to the end of Cape Cod, P-Town and from the beach saw a few whales blow/spray! It was a delightful surprise.

Beautiful peaceful stay!

Our stay at Serenity Cottage was absolutely perfect! We went for a long weekend getaway and found a beautiful, clean, well-decorated, impeccable home in which to stay. While the house was lovely in every way, it is even more special because of the view. The large living room and dining room space has large windows wrapping around two walls, and the view of the pond is absolutely beautiful. We sat and watched the geese and sea birds, exquisite sunsets, and the lovely winter sunshine. There was more than enough room for five of us, and again there was absolutely everything that we could’ve wanted. It is close to restaurants and beaches. Highly recommend this property! You will not be disappointed.
