Love the location and the fact that this house is completely pet friendly as it is all fenced and they can come inside. It is a shame there are not more ‘real' pet friendly homes in this area. I believe there are lots of responsible pet owners like ourselves with a small pet that take extra care when holidaying in someones home. Thank you for sharing your home.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was in a great location - easy to walk into town centre. Although we didn't have a pet there is enough room in yard for a pet. Bed was quite comfortable however was an inconvenience to learn the accommodation didn't supply linen/towels, so I needed to hire these for an additional cost before we arrived. House was fairly clean, however windows, shutters, fan in the bathroom and rugs were in need of a good clean. Unfortunately, we could not find any decent frypans to cook with (wobbly handle and burn food stuck to inside) so opted to use the BBQ. Property didn't come with any hand soap in the bathrooms so would recommend taking your own.Overall good spot for a night or two but if you are after a little but of luxury I would opt for something else.

It’s walking distance to the main town, well equipped, has comfortable beds, a great balcony for eating on or entertaining and best of all is dog friendly... I hope we can stay there again in the future.

The perfect holiday house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is modern and in a great location. The layout is excellent, and a lot of thought has gone into fitting it out. Everything supplied in the house makes for the perfect holiday. The beer fridge has been set to the perfect temperature.The only negatives were the house was very dusty (especially under beds and lounges) causing a few asthma issues. This has been also documented in previous reviews. The supplied vacuum cleaner was useless, actually making the house dirtier. It is well overdue for replacement or a good clean. And some of the insect screens in the bedrooms were broken and as a result the windows could not be left open at night to allow a breeze in.The positive attributes of the house far outweigh the few minor issues. I'd highly recommend the property.

Well equipped apart from the coffee machine was out of order during our stay. Only downside is in the cleaners, with their poor quality clean. Under beds & inside bedroom cupboards were absolutely thick with dust, inside bedroom drawers were also dusty. Dirty dishes were packed back in the cupboards. The laundry doesn’t not appear to be cleaned at all. We got the vacuum out to do it ourselves, but even the vacc was filthy & smelly. They could do with better cleaners for the $125 we paid for that service.

The house appeared to have been vacant for some time since being cleaned and was definitely in need of detailing and cleaning under all furniture.The lawns needed mowing and the yard a general cleanup especially for use by young children such as our grandchildren.

Great family getaway

Beautiful home love the renovation, we booked this place because of location, boat park and the lovely home, but this year we were unable to use the back yard to park our boats as the fence had been locked up and a board screwed to it and the bins were absolutely disgusting

Good location, nice vibe - but needs a bit more work

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenage kids) stayed here for 9 nights in January 2019. This is a recently decorated house that has been fitted with new appliances and is well furnished with a cool marine / seaside style. The house is on a good sized block 5-10 minutes easy walk from the centre of town and the main beach. Location, location! There are 3 outdoor areas, including 2 upper floor deck areas, that give options on either shade or breeze depending on the time of the day. The best one is in the main picture of the property as it has a bar fridge (even though we didn't use it), a good size outdoor dining table, and a very comfortable outdoor lounge - good for relaxing and reading. There is another small deck / landing area upstairs at the entrance to the house that is nice and cool, furnished with a small table and a couple of cushioned plastic wicker chairs in a similar style / vibe to the main upstairs outdoor space. The third area is downstairs on the ground floor at the back of the house. We didn't use this area except when coming from the beach. It has the outdoor shower (handy when coming back from the beach) and is the access point for the laundry (with 1 of the 2 toilets of the house) which is downstairs. This upstairs deck overlooks the good size fenced lawn garden at the side of the house that is useful for parking a boat or car, or for some other outdoor activity. This fenced garden gave our small dog more area to exercise while we were in the house. The house reminded me of our previous Federation style weatherboard house we had in Melbourne. The colour scheme is very maritime cool. The new appliances, furnishings and fittings lift the property. However, a few areas need improvement including some small holes in the bathroom floor that allowed for a nighttime incursion by cockroaches from underneath the upstairs flooring - we bought some Mortein spray after the first night and applied it to the holes every evening to create a chemical barrier that was partially successful in reducing the number being sighted. The other issue was the third bedroom that can sleep five. As the walls on 2 sides don't meet the ceiling those sleeping in that room get the noise from the bathroom (with a toilet) opposite, noise from the kitchen and rest of the house, while not getting the ventilation / breeze that the front of the house and 2 other bedrooms enjoy. 5 people in that bedroom would be uncomfortable. Overall 3.5 to 4 stars out of 5

Fantastic place to stay, it has absolutely everything you need and more!

We loved staying here, it has everything you need, it’s in a great location and it really is a home away from home. There was only the two of us so there was plenty of room, if you had a full house (9 people) it could get a bit cosy and there is only one bathroom. We’d definitely stay again.
