"Clean,spacious room with an amazing view of the harbour and estuary.Friendly and efficient service at the reception and the two requests made were dealt with as requested. Only had breakfast in the hotel and that was of good quality although a bit disappointed that there was not a more plentiful supply of fruit-just a small portion which you could only have if you did not choose another option such as granola. Other than that,really enjoyed our stay."

"Lovely old inn within minutes' walk of the town pubs and eateries. Be aware though, the shortest route is via the steep steps aptly called 'Jacob's ladder' across the road. Hotel staff were very friendly, incredibly friendly towards the dogs making it the perfect place to stay. Clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Will stay again."

"Really pleased with our stay at Royal Duchy Hotel. The staff were all absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful. Our room was massive and very clean and had everything we needed. Both a large shower and a large bath in our room. Facilities area and pool also very nice. Free dry robes to borrow, if needed, were a nice touch, although we didnt use them this time unfortunately. "I had a fantastic couple of days in Falmouth staying at Membly Hall Hotel whilst settling my daughter into the local university. My room was spacious and immaculate, the staff were welcoming and very friendly, and the included breakfast ranged from continental style to full English. I sat in the sea facing sun room for a few hours and enjoyed a sandwich platter from the bar menu. Happy to recommend this hotel for solo travel, as it was really comfortable and friendly."

"Very nice property, beautiful views of the beach and lake from the property, nice garden area to sit and relax. Parking for two cars was really helpful. Truro and Falmouth were good places to visit. Trelissick Garden National Trust was also a good place to visit, especially if you are National trust members, the gardens there are beautiful. "

"The cottage was lovely. It had no Wi-Fi or 4g signal so planning the next days agenda was impossible until you drove out of the site. Also apart from the on site bar (the staff were wonderful) there was no where to walk easily to get something to eat. "
