"Our group of 6 stayed at Lieutenant's Lodge in late May/early June -- it is such a great place. Location couldn't be more perfect - stairs down to the beach/flats right out the back door. Kitchen is great, beds and living area were super comfortable. Got stopped at the bridge once by high tide - while waiting we waded in and watched the horseshoe crabs do their thing -- very cool! We highly recommend Lieutenant's Lodge."

"It was a great weekend in a magical place. Our favorite part was high tides - you can actually swim there - the water is warm unlike the ocean water. Highly recommend! The house has everything that you may need and our dog had everything provided as well!"

"Property is beautiful, in a lovely setting, private but not too far from activities and great food. The house is maintained well and was perfectly clean, with a few maintenance issues which could be corrected quickly (bathroom doors that do not close and an extraordinarily squeaky upper floor.)"

"Cosy retreat with pond view. Great for canoeing with the dog. Sweet porch for reading and morning coffee. Tara was an excellent host who communicated immediately and went well above and beyond to correct an issue that was out of her control.A great central location that allowed us to roam freely to our favorite beaches, hikes, and restaurants. "This house worked perfectly for two families vacationing together. The lower level provided a great hang out space for the teens. This home has recently been renovated and has new floors, appliances, and very comfortable beds. It was very clean and nicely decorated.We loved the proximity to the bike path - and the location was the perfect distance to bike into Orleans for a visit to The Chocolate Sparrow, or to head in the other direction to swim at Great Pond, or take the bike trail out to...

"I can’t say enough good things about this property. The location, the layout, the beautiful furnishings, the patio…everything was perfect! My family had an amazing vacation, and coming back to the house every day after a day at the beach felt like a vacation in itself. Jenny was wonderful and was always quick to answer questions. "Great location. Worked out perfectly for myself and two kids (12 & 9). Walking distance to town. Inside was a cozy size and everything was updated. Well stocked with household stuff (though we only stayed one night and didn’t use much!). My son and I threw the ball around in the backyard for a bit too. Thanks again! Fun place to make memories!"
