Bahamian Rhapsody in Blue

Pristine private beach, ready access to calm seas, and a perfectly complementing plunge pool. Our group of 7 left only to pick up the famed cinnamon buns and assorted groceries at Island Farm. Beautiful sunsets, but beware the no-see-ums in the early morning hours and at dusk.

Great spot

Tennielle the property manager was so helpful the property is amazing. Snorkeling right from the cove. Kayaking to ten bay beach. We had kids from 1year to 5 and the beach and pool were perfect.

Little Piece of Paradise!

After a horrendous journey to Eleuthera (2 days delayed), Sky Cove did not disappoint! Tenelle, the house concierge, was amazing and did so much to make our trip even better. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 11 and the secluded cove was the perfect playground for our entire family! Thank you so much for an unforgettable vacation!

Tucked away private paradise

Amazing view, amazing property. Exactly what I expected based on the photos. There were a couple of small issues around the house, but most things were handled in a timely manner once communicated with the property manager. Overall, the perfect place to get away with my now husband and our families.

Perfect Family Vacation

Great location! Beautiful view! Would never have had to leave our private cove. Though we did go to Ten Bay Beach very near by one day and out for a boating excursion another day. Kids and adults stayed busy all day with kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, snorkeling, hunting for shells and treasures. We were 7 adults and 7 kids ages 2-11. Created great memories.

Eleuthera's

Wonderful home. The breeze through over the pool was wonderful. The no-see-ums were irritating but the breezeway kept them mostly away. We had 12 adults, and the bedrooms are set up nicely as individual master suites. The lagoon has very good snorkeling. Clouds of minnows, some coral fish, barracuda, turtle and 2 small sharks were seen. Snorkel under the overhangs at low tide and at high tide check out the mangroves. The kayaks and paddle boards were greatly appreciated. Erin the gold crested night heron visited us every day. The house is on google maps so easy to find. The kitchen has 2 refrigerators and 2 washer dryers. Had a great time.

Sky Cove

Beautiful property! The setting is amazing and stocked with everything you need. I would suggest getting the pool heated, and to reserve a chef for a special night! BRING BUG SPRAY! The no-see-ums were vicious! I look like I have a rash all over my body. Snorkel, kayak, swim, lounge, paddle board, chill by the pool, or beach. Amazing property and I would totally recommend!!

Beautiful Place

This place is absolutely beautiful; it highlights your surroundings perfectly with views from every angle! Pool and beach were great for being outside together and the cove was awesome to swim in, snorkel, and kayak. We had some issues with things around the house (somewhat normal for the island but enough to make a note of) but the prop manager was extremely responsive, helpful. The *biggest* downside for our group is that everything was built around being outside. For a group of 11 at night, when the BUGS are out and it’s windy, we didn’t have a place to gather as the kitchen only had an island and a small table and the upstairs living/gathering area only had a table for 4. We made it work and enjoyed all it had to offer! Gorgeous place.

Family Fun

Sky Cove was an exciting place to stay. Our family ranged from 15-83 and everyone had a great time. Beautiful cove right in front of you when you wake up in the morning, at times could see turtles swimming around in the cove. Great snorkeling right around the corner of the cove. Lots of recreational items there including kayak's, paddleboards, rafts etc. The place was spectacular as far as the setting, long driveway to top of a hill and right on the water. Beautiful views all day long. Inside the place was clean and beds were comfy. Any issues from booking to your stay were addressed immediately by Matt, Tennielle, & Keith. Keith is a great guy with a wealth of knowledge about the island. Only thing I would recommend is adding more WIFI routers to the house, that was a bit rough at times. Great stay would not hesitate to return again.

Amazing Privacy only Rivaled by the View !!

One of those properties which is very rare and so uniquely placed !! House needs a touch of attention, but that is to be expected given the age. Ready for that first injection of rehab capital at that 15 to 20 year mark. However, not an issue at all, just to me mindful. Pool is just big enough for 4-5 kids to play and have fun. The views are nothing like I have seen before coupled with the isolation. The cove has protected swimming and snorkeling right there with schools of fish. Glass showers are amazing and fun and the shower in the lower bungalow has an amazing window right into the palm tree lined shore. Like many roads on the Island the driveway is rough, but part of the allure. When you roll up the hill and first see the house with the view, it will set you back on your feet !! The Cove set in front of a 2-3 mile view across the bay is wild !! Turn off all exterior lights and take in the Stars.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures of the home were definitely enhanced/photo shopped. The home is older and not well maintained. Kitchen air conditioner was not working properly and had been leaking prior to our stay. The water pressure in the showers was very poor and getting hot water took 5 to 10 minutes- which is a huge waste of water. One of the bathroom showers didn’t drain so we had to take quick showers do the bedroom wouldn’t flood. We paid extra for the heated pool which finally warmed up after 5 days. The outside needed maintenance as well and the stairs to the water are not safe for dailies or children.

The Hidden Gem of Eleuthera - Sky Cove is Paradise

Our stay at Sky Cove was nothing short of magical. Nestled in a uniquely private location, it truly felt like we were on our own private island—completely secluded, yet comfortably close to everything we needed. The setting is so serene and peaceful, with views so breathtaking we found ourselves constantly just sitting and soaking it all in. The amenities at Sky Cove struck the perfect balance, allowing us to be as active or as relaxed as we wanted. The kayaks and paddleboards were a hit with everyone in our group, offering the perfect way to explore the beautiful waters right outside the door. To elevate our experience even further, we hired a private chef and a mobile bar service—both of whom raved about how well-equipped the house is. Everything they needed was already there, making it easy for them to deliver top-notch service in such a remote-feeling location. Being just a short drive from Governor's Harbour was also a huge plus. Whether we needed to stock up on groceries or felt like venturing out for a local dinner, everything was conveniently within reach without sacrificing the peaceful isolation we loved so much. If we had one suggestion, it would be to consider updating the living room furniture, as it's starting to show some wear. That said, it didn't take away from our experience in the slightest. This was, without question, our most relaxing vacation ever. Sky Cove is a very special piece of paradise, and we feel so lucky to have experienced it. We're already dreaming of our return.

Provided kayaks and paddle boards provided a fun way to explore the cove and surrounding shoreline. These were used every day.Comfortable bedsGreat seating options outside. Loved the gas firepit.Cons:Inside spaces were not large enough to accommodate the number of guests. No place indoors for everyone to eat, play cards, watch TV, etc. This home is all about the outside spaces and the inside spaces are a miss for a home in this price range.Internet/wifi was a mess and unreliable even after a technician came out to help.The home is in need of maintenance. The large glass windows in the living room were either broken or foggy (like the inner seal was broken.) The bungalow slider doors took 2 hands and some serious muscle power to open. One shower had no pressure, another no hot water. The toilet pump/grinder in one of the bungalows cycled periodically all night causing plenty of sleep interruptions. (We eventually just turned the water off at the toilet every night and this temporarily fixed the issue.)

Overall good but some drawbacks

The positives: the outdoor spaces are lovely and the position of the home is stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkeling in and around the cove. The heated pool was fantastic and the kids spent hours in there. The bedding was super comfortable. Great having a generator as the power went out a couple times. The drawbacks: the layout of the house is quite strange, even more so than I realized from the photos and other descriptions. Since we were preparing all our own food and didn't hire help for that, it was a pain to schlep over to the main kitchen which was down a lot of steps and around the pool. As noted in the description, the bedrooms are all in a row and open into one another. It worked fine for us staying there as a family but I would not like that set up if I was there with other adult couples. Even though you can walk directly outdoors from your room, it was unpleasant doing that early in the morning or at dusk as the no-see-ums were dreadful at those times of day. As other reviewers have said, there are several maintenance things to address such as cracked windows, and fogged glass. The water pressure/heat was a nuisance as you couldn't really use more than one shower at once without losing almost all pressure & heat. The big TV in the loft doesn't connect to the internet so ended up not being usable which was a bummer. Overall, outdoor spaces made the property a great experience, not the indoor ones.

Skycove - an amazing property but the cove is just magical

Skycove is an exceptional property which exceeded our high expectations. The spacious and inviting atmosphere felt like a true home away from home. The house was well maintained and very clean. Our large group had plenty of room indoors and outdoors to unwind and relax. The property was well-equipped with cooking utensils and pans. We cooked ourselves several nights and we brought in Chef K and Pebbles for 3 days and 3 nights. Their menu was great. One night we did Bahamian, one-night mixed grill, and one-night lobster. They were also very nice and quite funny. The outdoor spaces at Skycove were magical. We opted for pool heat which was a good call. We enjoyed kayaking, paddleboarding, and snorkeling in the stunning turquoise Caribbean Sea. What truly set SkyCove apart was the enchanting cove. It is actually a cove within a cove. Pictures do not capture its true beauty. The cove is teaming with fish. We saw barracuda, turtles, and lobster. The visibility in the cove is amazing. Watching the sunset from Skycove was amazing. The location of Skycove provided the perfect level of privacy we were seeking, with no neighbors in sight. This seclusion provided a real sense of a getaway. Staff was polite and available to answer any questions. Internet was strong throughout the entire house and even down on the beach. Starlink worked really well. Our time at Skycove will forever hold a special place in our hearts and we look forward to being back soon.

Stunning and secluded property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of 8 staying for 2 wonderful weeks at Sky Cove. The home is an architectural dream and is very spacious and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation. Situated on a quiet, calm cove we ventured out in to the turquoise caribbean every day to snorkel, spearfish and paddle-board to nearby beaches. On windy days you can simply stay inside the cove and be completely protected from the weather! The huge swimming pool was so refreshing after our beach activities!Upon arrival we found the home very clean and provisioned with drinking water, all paper goods, many spices for cooking and in-shower dispensers for shampoo and body wash. We found plenty of towels and extra bedding including beach/pool towels for each guest. The house is beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed the Boccee Ball court in the afternoons. On days when there was a power glitch the massive generator kicked right in to provide continuous power to the entire home. The house caretakers Keith and Tennille were very quick to respond when we needed anything or had a questions about the home. I cannot say enough about how kind and accommodating they are! This home is perfect for large active families or a group of up to 8-10 people. It has tons of outdoor space, eating areas, 2 kitchens and simply incredible views from every single window!There are numerous water toys, floats, 2 Kayaks and 2 Paddle-Boards for guests use so no need to lug your own! We had the time of our lives at this fantastic property and will definitely be coming back in the future!

Great Stay in Eleuthera.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great Location, Amazing view! Can't ask for a better Cove to relax in. Great for Kids as well. We rented a boat and kept it in the cove. Fishing was good along the cliffs and in the bay. Yellow tail, Snapper, Grouper and Mackerel. Were able to catch and cook dinner multiple nights. Snorkeling was good but not great. Outdoor space is amazing. All the water toys were operational. Starlink works great if you are in the main house. No signal in the bungalows. House was clean but had some issues. Is just in need of some TLC. No water pressure in two of the main bedrooms. Bed had issues in one of the bungalows, slats kept falling out. Some walls had sections missing because of plumbing issues. Dish washer almost pulled out on one of the kids. Pool never heated up, owner gave us a refund, so that was great. Bocce court is in need of new sand. Recommendations:Bug SpraySterno Fuel to keep flies and bugs away. Inside Chefs kitchen and out.Water Shoes. Area to get into water at cove is rocky.Don't fly Silver Air. Was a debacle. Use American. I think they fly into GH now.Visit Ten Bay Beach!Visit "Between the Rocks Beach"Visit "French Leave Beach"Island Farm pineapples are amazing! Rent car from Elvis!Victor the handyman was great! Helped kids learn to spearfish, helped with flat tire, etc.Lot of stairs. Not recommended for individuals that have mobility issues.Our group of 12 had a great time!

Skycove

The house and amenities were really cool, but some of the photos were a little misleading. The overall experience was good with a few things lacking. For example, the water pressure and temperatures with the showers were limited. The bungalows and furthest two top floors showers had minimal pressure and would get little, to no, hot water in the showers. The master chef kitchen had an ant infestation and we'd spend 30 or so minutes every morning killing and cleaning up the ants. All the refrigerators have a really bad fish smell. We tried to clean them with soap and water but the smell still lingered, and tainted all of our food and beverages with fish taste and smell. Assuming this came from the previous guest, but unknown if that is the case. Either way, it was gross. The generator didn't work. Maintenance came out to check the battery and propane but they said the generator itself had an issue that they couldn't fix themselves and would have to reach out to the owner. A big positive was that the water toys were in good shape. This has not been the case with other houses we've rented on the island. Lastly, the grill is rotted and cannot be used. Outside of those items, we all had a great vacation with great weather. :)

Best house with a private cove

The cove was perfect for snorkeling, paddle boarding and just watching the turtle swim. The house was clean and well kept and the property manager was just a phone call away and super helpful. Overall, it was one of the best places we have stayed and this was our fourth trip to the Bahamas. Eleuthera is magical and we will definitely be back and Sky Cove will be where we stay!

O'Neal Family, Round ONE!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sky Cove and Eleuthera, Bahamas was simply the most amazing experience! Matt, Tara, and Tennielle at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals were always so kind, patient, helpful, and fun to talk, text, and Email with! Weeks and months before arriving at Sky Cove our entire family (8 adults, 9 kids ranging in age from 2 years old to 9 years old) would look at the online pictures over and over! None of us could really believe it could be that perfect! But, oh my goodness, it was actually so much better! We did leave the property for 2 of our 7 days, but spent all other days in the Cove! We snorkeled, paddle boarded, floated, swam! Over and Over and Over! It NEVER got old! We spent very little time inside - really only to shower and sleep! We settled into the Chef's kitchen and prepared all our own meals and mostly ate outside! Many nights found us on the very top deck stargazing - so many stars!!! Our family travels a lot and we NEVER do repeat trips because there are so many places we want to see! However, we have already reserved Sky Cove for Summer 2023 - IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!
