Ware-A-Dise was paradise!

We had an amazing experience at Ware-A-Dise and will definitely be back! The service from beginning to end was amazing - super responsive on email while going through the booking process then Wallace the house manager was great too. We had one issue with the disposal, I texted him and he came over w/in 10 mins - that is seriously good service! The pictures of the house do not do it justice - the house is truly lovely! Thank you for a great family vacation, we'll be back!!

Perfect getaway for friends

My best friend and I stayed four nights in this lovely bungalow. The layout of the home is perfect, as it’s a split floor plan and we both had our own space, bath and patio overlooking the Caribbean. We spent every breakfast and dinner cooking at “home” while sitting on the screened patio watching the boats sail past. The kitchen was well appointed and had all we needed to prepare from our local haul at Island Farm just minutes away. The home is located mid-island so getting to all the beaches was easy. This house could easily accommodate a larger family. The junglefowl cheerfully woke us up in the morning with their song. Even though there are homes next door in view we felt very private and secluded. The area is quiet and calm. The power went out on day one and the generator kicked right on to keep us cool. Will come again!

Gorgeous Views!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was perfect. We loved the views from the family/dining room, the screened-in porch and the large decks. The grounds were beautiful. The house was well appointed and upgraded and very clean. We had use of umbrellas, boogy boards, beach chairs, Frisbee, etc. This house has a generator that makes all the difference since the power does go out on a regular bases. Only one time the generator didn't kick in right away and Wallace responded very quickly and it was back up and running in no time. The only thing that would have made it better would be having access to kayaks to enjoy the water right out our back door; we could have rented some. We enjoyed Ten Bay and French Leave beaches, a day on Harbour Island, Tippy's, 1648, the Farm Stand just down the road south about 1/2 mile, Norma's Gift Shop, and the Da Perk. The beaches, oh my, beautiful!!! Justin Pinder rented us an SUV and his service was spot on.

Great House, Great Location

This newly renovated house is perfect for multiple couples or families traveling to Eleuthera. With its central location of South Palmetto Point, we easily traveled to both ends of this beautiful island. With amazing beaches within minutes and snorkeling right off the rocky shores of the property, you never need to travel far if you are just wanting down time and relaxation. Stores are easily available within a 15 minute drive to buy necessities or souvenirs. Several local restaurants in Palmetto Point are great choices for Dinners or easily go into Governors Harbor for a little higher end meals. The house itself is beautiful with everything you need for your stay and more. Loved the fact that it has a generator, as the electric goes out frequently on the island. It went out several times during our stay and we were happy to have a second source of power to keep us comfortable at all times. The communication was great from start to finish and everyone answered any and all questions I had quickly. Two issues we had with the property was the lack of deck furniture on the two beautiful decks. We were a party of 4 and with only 2 loungers on the back decks it made it difficult to enjoy such an amazing view. The other was hot water in the bathrooms. It may be an easy fix but we did not have consistent hot water for showers. Two minor issues that do not take away from the beauty of this property. Highly recommend staying here!

Best Appointed House on Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed on the island more than a dozen times and this home was the best constructed and most thoughtfully appointed house of all. It had plenty of everything I needed, and none of the extra stuff that I didn't. I usually spend the first afternoon of my stay decluttering the counters and coffee tables of "knick-knack" style decor to simplify the space in most homes. That was not necessary here. Everything was clean and practical, and nothing took away from the amazing view, which was unobstructed from the kitchen, living area, and both main bedrooms. I was blown away to find the home had a garbage disposal: something I have never had on the island, but very useful since you want to make sure you get rid of your waste as securely as possible due to island bugs, which leads to my next point. The sliding doors were SO substantial. This may seem trivial, but on an island teeming with no-see-ums and other bugs, this ensured that the home remained completely bug free and that I could enjoy the screened in patio without concern. Further, having a generator is becoming a necessity on island with power outages becoming more frequent, and that did not disappoint! One of the most delightful bonuses was the cold water dispenser and 5 gallon jugs waiting for me! Since you must drink filtered water on the island, 5 gallon jugs are the most economical option, but they don't fit nicely in the fridge (if you like cold water). The dispenser is just like what you might see in office, allowing you to fill a cup with cold water on demand. The house even had Yetis & lids for taking down to the water! Again, small but such thoughtful amenities that made the stay superior. The house had quality beach chairs & umbrellas that made it easy to pack up for other beaches, which you'll need to do if you want a sandy beach. You can still swim here, but as the listing says, it is rocky. My one minor complaint is that there is no real couch, rather (very fancy) recliner style chairs.

Great vacation!

We had a good time at Ware-a-dise. The house had everything we needed, and its view are perfect! A stop from the airport to Eleuthra Market and Island market filled our food needs. We had a few glitches but all were quickly taken care of by the very responsive Wallace. The home itself is perfect for relaxing and was only about 15 minutes from Governors harbor. We enjoyed lovely Ten Bay Beach and French leave beach which are about a 15-20 minute drive. The house was clean and entry and departure were easy. Recommendations from Kim of Eleuthra vacation were spot on. Roderick Pinder (her recommendation for car rental) was great too. Highly recommend this vacation spot!

We had absolutley no issues with the house. Check-in was easy, no problems while we were there, and check-out was easy. The location was great, central to the island overall and close to Governor's Harbor. We got to a ton of different beaches, restaurants, and just spent time relaxing at the house. I would recommend this house to friends and we would stay there again.
