Condo / building had so many things broken it became a joke. like
No bedding the first night - got in late and used the "24/7" they advertise, but no bedding til next day. Oven gives a shock when touching the oven door. elevator broken. water pressure bad; 3rd day NO WATER. Disturbing drilling and hammering noises the following day with plumbers / welders. 1 1 broken jacuzzi, 2nd was disgusting/unusable. local vacasa contact tried to address problems. she's 5 stars. i initiated a partial refund for the first night's stay: no bedding. As issues multiplied with no end in sight i increased to a reasonable 50%refund. I only received a *partial* refund from VACASA only, below a fair 50%. Vacasa and VRBO each very politely pushed me off to the other, each saying the other is responsible for the remaining refund but neither working with their partner. They both say they're "reaching out" to their contact and will get back to me. Neither side resolved. Wasted time w/ countless emails and calls explaining ALL where they will "leave messages for a supervisor" that no one has heard of when you followup. There is no one NO ONE at either VRBO / VACASA who will take responsibility to resolve what is fair. NO ONE at VRBO / VACASA called/emailed with a name and direct number or offered a way to get my full 50% refund. my guess is the owner (?) has refused to part with the rest of my refund and VACASA and VRBO have no inclination to reach into their profits to do the right thing. The last email from VACASA i got stated apologies for all the back and forth i have been through and that i must (again for the nth time) reach out to VRBO to get the rest of my refund. So instead of VACASA reaching out to VRBO to resolve what's left, i am politely advised to contact VRBO tho this gets me NOWHERE. The last time i spoke with a general VRBO customer service rep, he tried to contact VACASA and got the same run around that i did. Vacasa told the VRBO rep they were reaching out to their contact and would get back to me. Vacasa never said who they waiting on. The owner? It's a circus over there with no one willing to take charge and do the right thing. I have begged them to actually call me to discuss but they keep emailing me to call general vrbo and vacasa "customer service" numbers where i get to explain the situation all over again *every* time and no one calls me. So definitely stay here if you want pay to be stressed on vacation and also long after!!!!
