This place was great for a family of 7!! Its not the Ritz but youve got everything you need and everyone was kept happy! The pool doesnt get deeper than 4 ft but that was perfect to play catch in! Floaties were in the garage if you wanted them and everything was supplied, including the pool towels! Wildlife came by to say hi at nught which was cool and NO CREEPY BUGS!! I will definitely come back to this place. Worth the price!

Don't Book Here!! We were so excited for our trip as the online post for this house shows well. Don't be fooled! The owner of this house doesn't care about this property and hasn't done any maintenance to make your stay pleasurable. We pull into the driveway only to be greeted by a completely full trash can of the last guests' trash, weather worn garage doors (which are also broken and can't close correctly), and moldy siding. The walkway to the front door is lined with overgrown plants and yet again, moldy rocks and "landscaping". The decking is worn and needs to be replaced. The outdoor seating, planters, and comforts you see in the pictures are no longer there. There were a couple plastic chairs around the pool (there was a 3rd but it was broken upon our arrival) and 2 chairs (no cushions for comfort) by the entryway door. The front door is dirty and worn, the decking that lines the house is a literal rat run track. We spotted them daily and nightly (rat poop was not found in the house or we would have checked out right then). The washer and dryer do not work (the machines are clearly old and need maintenance). The tile work on the inside of the house is uneven and cracked in several locations. The carpet on the stairs and in the loft are stained and worn. The walls have cracks in them, the light switches and outlets were broken in many areas, the bedroom doors do not open and close correctly. The refrigerator didn't work once we put food in it. When we made the reservation everything was looking great, but when we got to the house everything change. The house is rundown. The tiles are missing grout exposing what edges that are safety hazard. The deck is loose, the handrail also. The doors inside the house don’t lock. The master bedroom has a sewer smell. The stove some of the burners don’t work. The exterior of the house is dirty and moldy. Missing pieces of the siding. We felt like we wasted our money, we are really disappointed.

The outside of the house and the fence needed some tlc, once inside the house it was beautiful. Very accommodating for what we needed. The pool and backyard was very nice and close to the beach. The washer and dryer didnt work, (they knew about the dyer and didnt tell me). Hopefully they are fixing that.

Needs some work

The location was great! The AC worked great!BUT….The house needs a good deep cleaning. The kitchen faucet, stove, and dishwasher needs replacing. The kitchen faucet had no water pressure and was about to fall off. There was only one burner that would actually get hot. Two of them would get warm. One didn’t work at all. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes well. We had to hand wash them afterwards. I did see the previous reviews but assumed they would have made some changes and improvements to the House prior to our stay. They did not. Will not stay here again until improvements have been made. Nice house but needs some TLC.

Not what I expected

The inside was clean, the location was great, it was a 5 minute walk to the beach. I will say there were quite a bit of negatives. The exterior of the house was rundown. Side gate was broken and the pool was dirty upon arrival. Inside the house, the two bedroom doors would not close and the stove did not work at all, which was inconvenient.

Not the Escape We Hoped For

I am utterly disappointed and appalled by the state of this rental property. The listing promised a clean and comfortable stay, but what we encountered was the complete opposite.First, cleanliness was clearly not a priority for the management. Trash was found underneath the dresser in the second bedroom, food remnants were left under the living room couch, and the carpets were filthy beyond reason. The master bedroom shower was not only dirty but also appeared to be leaking, and there was visible mold behind a picture in the bathroom— health hazard! The window AC units had clearly not been cleaned, and we even found standing water inside the downstairs dryer. How is this acceptable in a property being rented out to paying guests?The condition of the amenities was equally disappointing. Two burners on the stove did not work, making cooking a challenge, and the pool was in a disgraceful state—dirty and neglected. To make matters worse, we were assured someone would be coming by to clean the pool, yet no one ever showed up.Perhaps most frustrating of all, the foundation issues of the property were never disclosed, and the rental listing itself was completely misleading. The deceptive description led us to believe we were booking a well-maintained and enjoyable stay, but instead, we were met with a long list of problems that turned our vacation into a frustration-filled ordeal.

Stairs not up to code

The place was very nice and so was the private pool. The only issues was that the fridge was not working properly, so we had to put our fridge items in the freezer section. I did notify management but nothing was done about it. Another issue was the stairs, I did read other reviews about the stairs but oh my goodness you did feel the wood very wobbly when walking up the stairs. As a homeowner I know this is not safe and up to code. Hopefully this issue would be fixed so we can stay here again.

End of Summer Vacay

Enjoyed being at close proximity to the beach access and gas station. The entry to the beach house was tight along the side of the house and a few stairs to climb up. Just a heads up, in case you need to carry up ice chest and luggage. We had an issue with the dryer that is located in the garage, but Vacasa squared it away by having a technician come out within a day. The pool was nice and warm. It's a cozy spot overall!

Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Just a block from the beach was perfect! The backyard with pool was great. The pool isn’t heated so was a little too cool for me but it was perfect to sit by the pool enjoying the sun! Backyard was also great for our dog. We had planned on another couple joining us for part of the time but didn’t work out so had way more beds than we needed but we really enjoyed having all the space of the house! I would recommend the Aires Chateau!

Pool was not available to use

Checking in was fast and easy. When we arrived a staff member from property management informed us the pool had ussues and we could not use it that night. We had an evening planned around the pool and had to make alternate plans. So the next day we thought we would be able to use it but the chemicals were too strong to enjoy the pool again. My family and I were very disappointed, especially my grandson. There were also issues with the doorknob to the main restroom locking you in. Not a good sound if using the bathroom at night, giggling the doirknob. The stove and microwave had dried food stains that weren't cleaned properly. I've asked for a discount due to the issues but its only been 24 hours. I would not recommend this house.

The home was nice and cozy. Me and my family enjoyed it! Loved that it was so close to the corner store and beach. We also enjoyed the pool. It could of been a little more cleaner but it didn’t bother us. Would definitely book again 👍

Roaches & Trip Hazards

I am extremely disappointed in our stay during the 4th of July. We experienced roaches, loose shower doors, deck boards that caused my kids to trip up & down the steps, bedroom doors that would close and were jammed. This is coupled with maggots in the trash cans and exterior doors that do not lock correctly. For the amount of money I paid, I am extremely disappointed and hope VACASA will step up. We spent our holiday vacation in a underwhelming home that I am surprised VACASA would allow to be listed.

Don’t waste your money.

Very disappointed in the condition of the property. House is run down, needs maintenance, doors don’t close, locks didn’t work. Property management doesn’t answer their phone. What is pictured and what you see when you get there are two different things.
