Our family of seven had a wonderful stay at your home. We enjoyed the pool tremendously, and also liked that we could easily walk to the beach. Highly recommend this home to others traveling to South Padre Island.

This house had everything!! We rent 4 times/year on South Padre and this house truly had everything we needed and then some. Kitchen supplies were available for every need. Beach accessories were available if you did not bring yours. Location is walking distance to everything on the island. And there were many outdoor foot washing areas to get the sand off; which has always been an issue in every house we stay in because of our dogs. Overall, I have no complaints other than they need to keep more trash bags and toilet paper available. We did not have a large group but this house can definitely accommodate a large group comfortably. They did a great job on the remodel and functionality of this home.

Super clean home. Well stocked kitchen. Bath and pool towels available and clean. Cleaning supplies available for the dishwasher. Loved the ice machine. So useful. Beds were comfy Fun indoor activites. Pool was warm and clean. We did have to clean the pool daily since the palm trees were seeding and the wind brought down some leaves. Tools were availble to do that. Good beach chairs and wagons. Bring a tent for shelter on the beach or plan to get one. House was pleasant and accomadated all our groups needs. Would stay here again.

Perfect Multi-Family Vacation House

The Tropical Dream house was the perfect location for our multi-family trip to South Parde Island. It is setup perfect with bedrooms on multiple levels each with their own bathroom. Provided each family with their own space and the teenager girls with their own bathroom. The house is perfectly decorated and has been recently renovated, it's just very well put together and you feel at home, not a sterile rental property. It also has everything you need including things you expect like a coffee maker, plates silverware, etc. The surprise is that it also includes beach equipment which is so hard to figure out when you fly to a beach location and can't bring the chairs, coolers, etc. This house has all of those things for your use and is super close to the beach making it a great setup. Not to mention it has a commercial ice machine in the basement! Will save you a ton on not having to buy ice for coolers or drinks, a real game changer, we now want one in our home, lol. The basement game room is a cool hangout for a vacation home, it has a pool table, video game machine, huge TV, and a karaoke machine. So much fun was had hanging out in that room.And don't forget about the beautiful, heated pool (heater was working, rare for a rental house). Just a few other quick hitters: - House has large driveway for multiple cars - Hosts are super responsive - Close to drug and grocery stores and tons of souvenir shopsWe loved our time at Tropical Dream!

Great place

Home was spotless and had great pool area! We had an issue with the microwave not working and after a call to property manager, was replaced quickly! The only thing I would request is more garbage bags for each can. Great place and would definitely rent again!

Best VRBO yet!

My family consisted of 16 people two grandparents several parents and teenage two grade school grandchildren. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The pool was the most fun for the kiddos and adults. Being steps away from the beach and all the beach equipment being with the stay made it even better we stayed during spring break season but having the house be so private made it NOT feel like a big frat party.

Lots of space!

Beautiful four bedroom, two stories, with pool in the backyard! Apart from the few people staying next-door that could see over the fence when they went up their stairs, the backyard was nice and private, and the pool was amazing!The ice machine downstairs was a definite plus, as well as the brand new ninja blender! Plenty of room for when I had friends visiting throughout the month of February.We had a couple issues with things not working (AC, Wi-Fi), but within a couple hours of contacting the management company, they were fixed! They were things that were out of anyone’s control, and the fact that they got fixed as quickly as they did was amazing!

Wonderful stay!

Property is perfect for large group/multiple families. Close to many activities and 1 block from the beach. Pool is large and warm! Lots of toys and beach chairs/wagon to make things easy. Will be back!

Awesome Home

Loved staying at this home! Close to the beach and very clean and roomy! We loved the pool after hot days on the beach. The game room was fun also! The home had an ice maker to fill up our coolers every day for the beach! Such a great addition! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything you could possibly want!

We had a great stay at Tropical Dream. It was clear the owners had decorated it with love and an artistic eye. The house was very clean, we got help immediately when we asked for it. And the walk to the beach was very short. Plus everything you could possibly need was there. They even had a small air compressor for blowing up pool toys. The pool was beautiful! The ice machine, the beach wagons, the beach toys were all great. They even had multiple camp chais that you could take to the beach and two coolers. You really don’t have to bring anything but your self and your clothes!

Absolute perfection

We visit South Padre multiple times a year, but this was our first time staying off of the beach. I was a bit nervous it would be less enjoyable, but this property was so amazing - I would definitely stay here again! The walk to the beach was just as convenient as many of the walks from ocean-view condos. The owners also provided everything needed for a beach day, while also provided so many amenities provided on the property, we almost didn't want to leave it! From the landscaping, to the choices made inside - it was beautiful, comfortable, and even felt cosy for a large space! It was perfect for our large group. Highlights: the comfortable beds, the ice machine (amazing!!!), ceiling fans in every room, the pool table and game room in general, the pool area and landscaping around it, the comfy large couch and giant table that everyone could sit around in the living area, the shaded patio, and the entire house cooling so well. You could tell that the owners invested a lot into the property and were very intentional about every decision. We had everything we needed to enjoy our trip and then some! HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent family vacation spit

Eventing about the house was amazing. They spared no expense on all the tile work. The only negative thing is we showed up about 20 minutes early and there was a truck in the driveway. I went in and looked around and finally found 2 women out by the pool. I stuck my head out the back door and said hello. The lady looked at me and said "management ". I said "excuse me". Then she said we're management and check in is not until 4. I was like how rude but i didn't say anything i just left. We had kids that needed to pee and my grandbabies needed their diapers changed so we drove down to the gas station. Every VRBO Ive ever stayed in you could arrive 30 minutes to an hour early no problem. Id understand if she was housekeeping and got behind washing clothes, but she was outside messing with a water house lol. Other than her being rude it was s good experience.
