Disappointing and Frustrated

Let’s see…. Code to get into the house was incorrect. Waited outside in the heat for 30 minutes until support finally changed the code for us to enter No hot water in both of the showers downstairs The amenities list a washer and dryer. But the door to the washer and dryer was locked. Our 3 year old had an “accident” and we needed to wash his clothes. But we could not. We could not connect to the WiFi as the WiFi was not broadcasting its signal so we could not find the name of the WiFi as listed in the welcome email. The downstairs TV would randomly stop working. The humidifier was full of water and would not work unless the tank was emptied

Nice house for our large group. Very convenient to beach. Nice kitchens upstairs and downstairs that made it easy for our large group to enjoy meals at the house, including cooking out on grills. Nice decks upstairs and downstairs to take in the evenings. Very comfortable stay.

Perfect Location

Our family had a fantastic time! This property was right around the corner from the beach. It was an easy walk. The inside of the house was fantastic but the outside could use some work. Some stairs were a bit scary to walk on and some wood fell off the sides as you walk up the stairs. We had a large amount of family with us, so it met our needs.

Summer Rental

This house is a cute 2nd row beach house. You can see and hear the waves from the 2nd and 3rd floor. The floors are identical floor plans, which was pretty cool. The balconies are nice too. It really felt homey and cozy, like a summer rental feeling. Nothing bad to say but just some comments: -1st floor kitchen has heat induction stovetop, its super confusing, so we used upstairs, the good old fashion stove. - Backyard has a lot of stickers, the dogs looked like they were walking on glass, so dont take your dogs there. Other than that, the host was amazing and super nice. He let us have early check in- late check out since nobody was using it before and after us. The town is super chill, perfect for families and the house is close to a lot of shops & restaurants. I would recommend it! There were 13 of us, 4 kids and the house was exactly what we wanted, thanks!

Beautifully decorated, but some issues.

I'll start with the positives. The house is beautifully decorated, well cared for, in a perfect location to get to the beach on foot, and easy access to everything on SPI. We enjoyed the option to be able to rent both the top and the bottom to accommodate our large party. However, we hit quite a few snafus along the way. Upon arrival, check in was not easy. The cleaning staff had locked the safety feature on the door, so while we had the code to unlock the home and gain access (and that code did indeed work), unfortunately because it was locked from the inside we had no way to gain entrance. Because this home is controlled through a rental company that meant for each issue we had to call the property rental company (rather than a private home owner) and phone times were easily 60-90 minutes each time we had to call. This means upon arrival we sat on the phone for 90 minutes before someone even answered to address our check-in while we had groceries and cranky kids after a long drive waiting to check in. Other snafus included our direct tv not working (once again a long hold time - followed by them having to connect with their local rep and then local rep having to come out to fix - so nearly half a day), our internet was terribly slow and would go out completely at random intervals, uncomfortable beds, and a fun day of our air conditioning not working (so once again another 90 minute hold call, and then they had to get a hold of someone locally to come fix - easily half a day of 85 degree temp meaning we had to find somewhere cool to hide out while we waited on hold, then for them to connect locally, then for the problem to be fixed). Then on the last day of which we had been granted late check out of 7pm, we started receiving calls and texts as to why we had not checked out yet at noon. Due to who knows what misunderstanding we started trying to vacate earlier than agreed upon, only to finally get a call back saying there was a miscommunication and we could indeed stay until 7pm. Needless to say by that point we had sort of packed up and started loading the car, so we left earlier than anticipated. The home is beautiful, so many cute details, but lots of other issues make this not a rental I would return to when we visit again.

S. Padre Island Vacation

We had everything we needed provided for us. Super close to the ocean! Only thing wrong was the stickers all over the fenced yard. Our dogs couldn’t use it as we hoped.

Nice property

Had a couple issues that I feel should have been taken care of prior to our arrival such as pots & pans that work on a induction stovetop & plumbers were there 2 days fixing shower nozzles in 2 bathrooms. I booked the property many months in advance and would have thought everything would be in place & in good working order upon our arrival. Ezeikial was prompt to answer our phone calls & try to get the issues fixed, but I still feel everything should have already repaired prior to us arriving. Not enough towels & dish cloths to accommodate 16 people without doing a couple loads of laundry every day.

A nice place

The house was very nice . Exception was the upper story. Several electrical outlets and devices did not work example microwave. Also; stepdown or caution tape not placed on step down outside exit to parking lot. A guest fell and had to be taken by ambulance . She suffered a broken arm. Who do we notify about this to cover some of the expenses?

Had a great time!

I like the location. The house has a great ambiance and is ideal for 2 family with kids. Might not be comfortable for 16 people or several family. The bed is way too soft for my back. The kitchen is beautiful but, there are lots of non stick pans that does not work on the convection oven, i wish they could just remove it. Overall, we had a great time. We are 5 adults and 1 child.

The only major problem was it was advertised as having 6 twin beds and 2 day beds..., not true...

Other than lack of 2 twins and one daybed that were not there as advertised ,the home is very well appointed and gorgeous. The beach was about 5 min away and the view from top balcony was great. The red knob on the outside shower has to stay open or the back bath water is affected AC Is very good. We had a great family time here Did not realized when booked that there are no inner stairs to top unit😳Decorator gets A plus . Pleasantly surprised by paper towels, toilet tissue, salt n pepper, shampoo , coffee filters and laundry soap. Overall a great place!

Wonderful

It was a beautiful home!!! Updated furnishings, clean and plenty of storage. There is a delicious restaurant across the street at a motel. The only thing I may recommend is a beach bag that can be used for guests. I would definitely do back!!!!
