Enjoyed our stay

The house was very clean upon arrival. Everything, including the pool and hot tub, worked well. The house and pool both have some wear, but overall a great place!

Honeymoon vacation💕

We stayed here for 5 nights on our honeymoon vacation and it was amazing!! When were actually at the house, we spent the majority of it soaking it up in the hot tub! Nice private backyard and the house was clean and very nice! The big bathtub with jets in the master bedroom was a very nice treat and speaking of treats, every bathroom had a bidet and i felt very pampered 💓Overall great house and neighborhood. We definitely recommend staying here, and if we ever make it back to South Padre Island, we will come back to this place for sure! Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!!

Buyer Beware

BUYER BEWARE. BE SURE TO ASK FOR VACASA TERMS AND CONDITIONS PRIOR TO DECIDING TO MAKE THIS YOUR DESTINATION FOR VACATION. I reserved this property through VRBO. This was a trip I had planned for my son and I. The property listing was appealing and I was drawn in by the amenities, specifically a private pool and hot tub. On the listing, the property appeared spacious, modern and clean. Unfortunately, our experience was not any of that. The property was filthy, lacking essentials and shown amenities were unusable. When we arrived excited, I noticed a few things right away. Dirty floors and surfaces. Filthy patio furniture and deck. Broken pool. Cold hot tub. I attempted to resolve the issue with Vacasa and lost money in this transaction. I ended up leaving and getting a new rental. Please read terms and conditions before signing on. They are not responsible for anything per their agreement even if it’s misrepresented or broken. I’m out money and will never book with Vacasa or VRBO again.

Terrible Management Experience

We checked in on 2/28/23. We were disappointed to see a filthy pool and a hot tub that wouldn’t heat. I called the Vacasa and soon received a call from Sofia, a local Representative. She told me they were waiting on a part that should have already been installed. Several hours later a pool guy arrived to clean the pool and then two pool guys showed up to replace a part and said it was working. It still didn’t work. I contacted Sofia again on 3/1/23. I didn’t hear back from Sofia until 3/3/23 after numerous attempts. I even drove by the address that is provided by Vacasa for their South Padre Island, TX office to only find an empty lot. She apologized and told me she thought they had fixed it. I reminded her that I had left her a message that it wasn’t fixed on 3/1/23. On 3/4/23 we woke up after a wind storm to find a propane tank in the back corner of the back yard that had previously been hidden under a camouflage net. I checked the tank and it was empty. I couldn’t get a hold of Sofia so I reported the empty tank to the Vacasa Corp. office. Sofia then texted me that the pool guy just got back to her at 9:45 and told her the tank was empty. I informed her that it was I that contacted Vacasa Corp. to inform them since I couldn’t get a response from her. I then texted her two links to local propane companies that she could contact. The propane was finally filled on the afternoon of 3/6/23 and the Hot Tub began heating the water. On 3/9/23 I reported to Sofia that the Refrigerator was warm inside the Ice machine was not working and things in the freezer were soft. The refrigerator was repaired on the afternoon of 3/10/23 after all of our food went bad. I was told that we would be compensated for our food and an additional amount for not having a working hot tub for the first 7 days. It’s been 7 days and I have yet to see the refund come through. After all the stress of managing this situation and not timely communication I feel like part of the excessive service fees should be refunded as well. I will never rent a Vacasa managed property again. Plus you pay more in fees with a third party through VRBO. We have always used VRBO but we have luckily always picked properties that were represented by the owners. I believe you will get much better attention from the owners. The house

Winter hang out

Nice place. Could use some touch ups and missing some kitchen items and small issues that popped up but a relaxing stay in a good location. Place was comfortable. Quick communications with local property help.

2 night stay

Home was beautiful, spacious and clean. Pool man showed up right on time. Would’ve been very helpful to have a number to call or text with any issues that may have come up. Thankfully no major issues. Me and my family would totally stay again. Thumbs up!
