The property manager was wonderful when getting back to us when needed. This was my first time to south padre as I usually go to Florida. The grounds were beautiful and everything was clean, but then the spring breakers came in, everything changed. My family has been that before, but the music for the final weekend was insanity. People trashed the condos across from where we were. Music was thumping incredibly loud for the weekend no matter where you went. It specifically stated no spring breakers but the place was covered in them. The hot tub and pool were unusable in the late evenings because it was full at both pools. Security was great, and covered it all about who was allowed on premise, but after that nothing was enforced. Again, beautiful grounds, fabulous place, but once Friday hit, boom! Everything was no longer how we experienced it prior. The unit itself was wonderful and everyone had their own space. We made reservations for 9, but only 6 beach towels. If the place sleeps 12, we’d hope it’d be outfitted for 12 including silverware. also missed the fact that there wasn’t a closet for us to use stuff for the beach. Normally when we stay in a VRBO there is a closet of beach accessories that we can utilize. We went and bought inner tubes, boogie boards, sand toys, but I’m wondering where they go after that since we had to leave them behind. We have bought toys at vrbos before and left them there, but they were available for the next family coming in.
