The cabin is just as you see in the pictures. Spacious kitchen and nice, large, comfy couch for everyone to gather around and watch a movie. The kids and the adults spent endless hours in the pool and in the hot tub. It was very quick, easy walk to the beautiful beach. Check in was a breeze, communication was quick and helpful and the checkout process was the easiest we’ve ever had for a rental. One of our highlights was watching a Space X rocket launch. The drive to the beach to watch the launch was only 10 minutes away. Great option for a large group.

Great location with easy access to the beach! We had a few issues with the washer and dryer even though it wasn’t able to get fixed during our stay, the property manager responded right away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Family Vacation

Very nice and spacious house! This house is exactly what we needed for our family vacation. My kids absolutely loved the pool and spent a lot of time in it. Owners and property manager were so nice and answered any questions we had! Nice close location to the beach and neighborhood was nice. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was—it truly felt like a home away from home. The house is incredibly spacious, with large bedrooms and a fantastic kitchen that made cooking for the family so easy and enjoyable. The bathrooms were spotless and beautifully updated, and we especially loved relaxing on the porch in the mornings with coffee.The location couldn't be better—just a short, easy walk to the beach, even with kids in tow. The backyard was a dream! The pool area felt like our own private oasis, and we spent so much time out there making memories.The property managers were also wonderful—very kind, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable beach getaway!

Great Beach Location

The house was located perfectly within walking distance to the beach. The host was responsive, however some requests were not completed. It is a great house, however it's a bit dated and needs some upgrades. We had a large group so we were cooking meals while we were there. There were a plethora of cooking utensils, however there were no baking pans, cookie sheets, can opener and sauce pans. The house was clean, however window blinds were dusty and very difficult to raise and lower. The showers in all of the restrooms need a deep cleaning to remove mold in the corners and floor. The pool had algae in it as well as debris. This was due to some storm that had rolled through right before we arrived. We swept the pool and removed the debris. The pool powder room was filthy so i reached out to the host and they came out to clean it pretty much immediately. The hot tub was not working properly and that was never resolved. Overall, even with some of the issues mentioned, we enjoyed our stay. The house was a great layout and everyone had plenty of their "own" space. I loved the shower outdoors. It was nice to rinse all of the sand off of our stuff we had taken to the beach. The living quarters are located on the second level with the garages on the bottom. Therefore, be prepared to climb stairs with coolers and all other belongings.

Great Time at Deja Blue House

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. There’s plenty of space and rooms. The pool was big enough for our big family and the splash pad was perfect for our grandkids. The owners answered any questions we had. Very highly recommended and we’ll be back again.

Overall our stay was excellent we very much enjoyed out get together. 2 things that may need improvement were the fact that the jet tub in the master bedroom was inoperative a disappointment and the flora around the pool kept the pool full of debris which I guess not much can be done about that.

Perfect staycation

The house served our needs perfectly. More than enough beds and space for the whole family to unwind. Kitchen was fully stocked with all necessary cooking utensils, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds and sofa! The extra details such as pool towels and soap helped were a plus. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, the convenient deck and wash off station on the side of the house. Shannon was an amazing host and very responsive. We had an amazing family staycation for the Easter weekend and hope to visit again soon!

Great Place to relax and enjoy South Padre Island.

Plenty of room for everyone, host was very responsive. Pool and Hot tub easy to operate and enjoyed. Location close to Beach access, food and drink all within walking distance.

Great location with plenty of room

The owners were great with any questions we had regarding the area and the property! Very quick response time! The pool and hot tub were clean and heated. It was perfect for the kids and adults. Next door they had live music that we enjoyed listening to while swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. There was more than enough space for our whole group (10 people) to sleep, eat and lounge in the kitchen/living area.It was a very short walk to the beach, restaurants, liquor store and grocery store. So convenient! The owners gave us contact information for the property manager who lived in the area for any concerns. On our 1st day, we contacted her regarding the pool and how to work the hot tub. She came to the property to replace some light bulbs in one of the bathrooms and explained how to heat up the hot tub. When she arrived we asked her about who did the cleaning of the property. She said she was the one who did it. My mom went on to mention that when were arrived, there was a small pile of what looked like dog food in the middle of the kitchen floor and that the shelves and light fixtures were quite dusty. The property manager said the dog food was from her dog when she was previously at the property. She said, "I hope you enjoy our stay here", then rolled her eyes and continued to the bathroom to replace the burned out light bulbs. The rest of our communication with her was brief, but pleasant. We would happily stay here again,

Great space with a wonder pool and hot tub!

We had 6 adults and 5 children on this visit. The house was an excellent space for us. Literally a 10 minute walk to the beach. We loved it and had a great time.

SPI Getaway

Great getaway in a home that was cozy and spacious. Jay was always keeping us informed and up today on things to do and local weather updates. The pool was a great feature that added that "at home" feel as well as the BBQ pit and amenities. Main beach was a few minutes away which made getting ready to go and come back a breeze. Would definitely recommend this home if you have a large family or simply looking for space for everyone. We also took our two mini schnauzers who also enjoyed their stay and look forward to our next trip staying at Jays amazing home away from home!

Amazing!

We booked this house for my birthday trip and it was perfect! The location is a 3-5 minute walk from the beach as well as extremely close to many other stores & restaurants. We had an issuing using the code provided to enter the home, but it was quickly addressed and taken care of. I highly recommend staying here if you are in a large group, especially if having a private pool & hot tub is on your must have list. Looking forward to possibly staying here again in the future!
