The home was amazingly beautiful! Had a slight issue with the hot tub, but the maintenance guy was there I. Minutes to fix it on day one and we enjoyed it the rest of our trip.

80th Bday Celebration!

Our entire family celebrated my Mom’s 80th bday and we couldn’t have asked for a better location and property. The size was perfect for us and we appreciated having bathrooms for each bedroom since there were multiple families and many different ages. Be aware there are many steps to the bedroom areas. Only one bedroom with double beds on main floor and that bathroom is shared with main floor. The views from second and third floor are amazing!

Spacious but needs TLC

The location and size was perfect, however the pictures are a little misleading. This could be a really beautiful space. It just needs a little TLC. The tile around the pool was broken in several places and not safe. The outdoor furniture on the first floor was not usuable. I would definately rebook next year if these issues are addressed.

Family summer get away

Had the whole family, the place is great, right on the beach great outdoor spaces with pool. Could have used more TP for the bathrooms and would have been nice to have more dishwasher pods and laundry detergent but overall this place is great. Accessible for older folks as well as children. Everything was very clean, beds are comfortable and rooms are really spacious. The 3rd floor master has a great shower. We all really enjoyed ourselves and this will be a lifetime memory for my family. Thank you

South Padre Island 2023

Great location and good week. Staff responded to needs when contacted. Pool dirty issues from storm. Dryer element replaced. Light bulbs replaced. AC repaired. It is a great space. Watch out for grass burrs in pathways across lawn and on way to beach.

Friendscation 2022

We were 3 families who came down for some fun, sun, and sand at the beach. The house met all our needs to spread out when need be and hang out together the rest of the time. Great location, fantastic beach access, and nice private pool. A great time had by all!

Loved the area and the house

House had issues with blinds not opening and windows not opening which was a bummer as we like hearing the ocean and getting light in the rooms! Dryer would not work because of too much lint pushed down under lint vent, so had to have someone come and fix! No hand towels or face towels first day! Called and they brought them second day! Closets had no hangers, they brought hangers! Needs more lighting by our pool area for at night. Overall house is awesome! Beds are comfortable, hot tub and pool were great! Location and beach are wonderful! Would stay again!

Everything here is beautiful. My only problem with the experience is that 4 pm check in and 10 am check out feels like I am being cheated. Hotels don’t even do that.

Fantastic

We stayed in the 6 bedroom with the hot tub side. It was fantastic. We we were right on the beach. It was clean if we had a question SPI was there within the hour. We had an EXCELLENT time. Huge rooms, great views, family friendly.

Huge Disappointment - No Stove or Oven for Entire Stay

I'm not even sure where to begin. I normally don't speak up when I have a negative experience but this one is beyond comprehensible. The day before we left for the trip we received a call saying that the gas line had broken and we wouldn't have a stove or oven for the duration of our stay. They credited us for the inconvenience, but that was just the beginning. I made daily calls to the management company for various issues such as: hair in bed on first night, air conditioner not adjustable to go lower than 77 (we all woke up sweating one morning), toilets would not flush (multiple), two bath towels provided in the house for a home that sleeps 20, blinds missing in master bedroom, blinds/curtain torn and duct taped in 3rd floor room, bird poop on many of the chairs on the balcony, freezer leaked water for the first two days (had to leave a soaking towel there to absorb - surely the wood floors are ruined). Some of these issues were dressed and we were told we would be getting a discount on our first two nights on top of the credit for the stove/oven situation but it's been two days and I've not heard a word from them, not seen a credit, no communication at all. After all that we experienced, I shouldn't have to chase this anymore. I'm exhausted and discouraged and will never stay there again. The home is beautiful and has potential, but totally mismanaged and not cared for.

Great house and great location!!

This is a very nice house! The location is very close to the water and beach. Also a short drive to several restaurants and shops. A few minor things - the kitchen is short on pans and we were short of washcloths. Minor things - overall GREAT property!!

Don’t be fooled by looks

This property is perfectly located for easy access to the beach. The house itself has huge bedrooms, closets, living space and the bathrooms had great showers. Unfortunate Issues: On day 1, We arrived with over $400 in groceries and realized that the refrigerator and freezer we’re not working. We contacted management who then contacted maintenance. He arrived and told us that this was a common issue, but owners would not replace the refrigerator. He then offered to bring us ice for our ice chest to hold us over until the morning when they would come and bring out a second fridge. Thank goodness we had 3 ice chests to put all of the perishables in to hold us over. That same evening, we all went to sit around the pool, only to realize none of the pool lights worked. It was very dark, so rather than sit out there not able to see anything, we went back inside, which we were glad we did because of what happened next. On day 2, we all were awaken by a loud crashing sound around 6am. One of us was in the garage, and he walked out to huge chunks of stone that framed the windows, falling off the house, right in front of the door that he had just walked through to get to the garage, leading out to the pool. As the pieces of stone fell, they crashed onto the ground and into the pool. We contacted the management, who then got maintenance out to inspect the situation. They put caution tape around the pool, and the area around the only door that led out to the pool area and our vehicles. We were told we would not be able to sit out there or use the pool! The maintenance guy said it was very dangerous and if any more fell, some could be seriously injured or worse. We realized this was happening on several areas around the exterior, which meant no grilling outside for us either. Everyone was now terrified to sit out on the patio areas now.....super frustrating. Especially when you pay that much money. Last issue; the property has 3 levels, with an elevator, but renters are not allowed to use it. Let me just say, lugging 4 days worth of luggage up and down to a third floor was an enormous pain in the butt! Needless to say, this property has great potential, but the inability to feel safe and use the amenities, really put a damper on the trip. We were told we’d receive a call from the GM for a refund on one night, and we have yet to receive that call, so my husband plans to reach out to them. Don’t be fooled by looks. This property is unsafe

Great experience

Wonderful stay. Each room were big, huge house. Kitchen as described. Would definitely stay again. A few hiccups upon arrival and settling in but overall had an amazing stay.

Spur of the moment quarantine trip

I woke up and decided I needed a change of scenery. The house pictured is what I booked but due to AC issues I was placed in another beautiful property across the street from the beach. I was able to check in electronically and they helped me with an easy arrival. I will definitely book again 😊
