The host was excellent and helpful in all ways. The location was the greatest and when we had trouble with the tv, they were right there to help us. The price was right and the facilities were clean. It could use some new paint and a bit of upkeep. We would go back.

Check-in was a breeze. Unit was clean and has a great location looking right out to the beach. Was within walking distance to several food/drink establishments. Easy access to the beach or the pool/hot-tub.

This is an outdated condo building. The condo itself was also outdated with popcorn ceilings and old finishes. They did spruce it up with new furnishings and decor. The bed was comfortable, clean for the most part, but the old school tubs had mold. The hot tub was also filthy and there was no one there to clean it so we did not use it. I didn’t feel the quality matched the price. I will not stay here again.

Great location

The location and view were great! The unit itself is in need of updating and painting. Bathrooms were dark, balcony is small but worked for two to enjoy the beautiful view.

False advertisement, beach wasn’t accessible, refrigerator is old and leaking, washer/dryer is in stairwell and very old needs replaced. We had to go to laundromat to wash clothes. The manager would not return our calls the whole time I was there and when I returned home. Not a good rental, stay away. They could do much better.

Great beach vacation!

We found the check in office and the condo both with no trouble. We appreciated the designated parking space, under cover, right under the building. The unit was as described, even more spacious than we'd hoped for. Even the balcony was wider than the pictures suggested, and we loved being out there to watch the surf. The condo was clean, well-appointed, lots of little extras. The beds were very comfortable though a bit high for someone as short as I am! The only thing we wished we'd found was a grab bar in the second bathroom shower. Seems like a safety feature that would be important. Otherwise we were very glad we found this condo, and we'd stay here again next time we're on the island.

Overall Great Place

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and clean. Gorgeous view of the Gulf and just steps to the beach. The pool and hot tub were nice. We had pretty much all we needed in the kitchen to cook meals if we chose. A pair of scissors would have been nice. The only detractions I would give it would be that the deck is quite small and we parked outside because the space in the garage was very tight for the SUV we rented. A tv in the bedrooms would be nice too. Check in was easy and the agent was nice and funny! A really great place for a small group!

Some problems and some plusses

Initially I froze because there is no insulation in the floor over the parking garage. The unit was clean and the furniture was comfortable. Kitchen had adequate utensils. We liked the hose to clean off sand after being on beach. Adequate storage. Challenging parking. Adequate luggage carriers and nice elevator. The laundry exchange man was very friendly and cheerful

The location was fantastic, but the condo not so much.

The location was great!!! Right on the beach and close to restaurants. The check in process was smooth and the staff were very nice. The condo itself was a little lacking. The master shower was meant for tiny person, so if your over 5 feet tall expect a workout. The water pressure in the kitchen sink was nonexistent. Luckily it was not a issue in the bathrooms. If your looking for a place to sleep at night and spend all day at the beach this is the place for you. Just note that the beds are not super comfortable.

Great Location but weird noise

The condo was nice and clean and just as the pictures show. It is a great location with private access to the beach. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were nice as well. The only complaint we had was in the main bedroom you can hear a clinking noise every 6 minutes. My husband and I could not figure out what it was but it had to be from some equipment outside. We tried leaving the bathroom fan on and the white noise machine but could still hear it. It was literally every 6 minutes 24/7. We ended up just sleeping in the living room since you could not hear it in there. That was quite disappointing but we made do and still enjoyed our vacation.

Things to know before you go

We had a great week! The property was clean and well equipped, looking just like the pictures. They have added a small dishwasher, too. Bring your own kitchen scissors, cookie sheets, and rubber spatula. There was a blender, food processor, and a hand mixer. The view is amazing. The pool is larger than the pictures appear to show. And just step out the back gate to the beach. The mattresses tend to roll you to the middle, but there are so many beds, we each just took our own. Besides the 2 queens and two twins pictured, there is a trundle and a folding cot. And the sofa is huge. There is no outside view from the bedrooms. There is one TV, and it is in the living area. And don't forget...covered parking!

Perfect spot in South Padre - steps from the beach!

We spent our spring break at Florence 2. Everything shared in the photos and from previous reviews were accurate. The unit is literally steps from the beach, which was amazing! The condo overall was nice and clean. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Within reasonable walking distance from restaurants and shops. Only down side would have to be the comfort of the beds in the main bedroom. We tried both beds and they definitely need an upgrade. Beds in the kids room were completely comfortable though. Would recommend if you’re looking for a great spot on the beach!

First vacation using vrbo

It was a very nice trip. The lighting In the rooms were a disappointment and we ended up sleeping on the couch for 4 days. The view was great. I do feel like the average things could had been provided, since we ended up leaving items that could have been used such as Pam cooking spray. It was a beautiful view though. Wonderful experience!

Right on the beach!

Had a great time with my family. Loved the beach and ocean. The condo had its neglected parts, example: the shower doors were gross with corrosion and black mold worked into it. The vents were really dirty. The south padre island rentals office personnel were quite rude. Would of been nice if they actually came to replace towels and essentials, but we had to take cab to the office to replace ourselves. If you don't have your own car it gets a little expensive paying for cabs. It's a nice place to be set up though! 3 stars.

Perfect location

The view and location doesn’t get better than this! This was perfect for our family of four. Good size and had everything we need. The bathtubs could use some updating and blackout shades in the bedrooms would be nice (they border the hallway where lights are always on) but other than that, no complaints! Really nice decor and unbelievable view right on the beach!

South padre stay

The property location was perfect and the transaction with the rental management was seamless.. The condo itself was clean. The bathroom shower was not the greatest in terms of drainage and the hardware has seen better days. The bed does need to be replaced in the master. . Other than that, it served us well and we had a good time!
