Fabulous property

This is our second year to vacation at this property. This property feels like a home away from home. We love the great size of the kitchen. The beds are super comfortable. We love the close proximity to the beachfront.

We absolutely love the new deck and stairs! We appreciate how the owners are continually making improvements. This feels like our home away from home and we are excited to come back every winter. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Property didn't match favorable posted reviews

Dust bunnies throughout the house. Master bath sink was clogged and kept backing up. Network i.d. and password for wifi given in welcome email was by far incorrect. Management company had no idea what the correct info was. My husband looked at the back of the internet box located in the bedroom and that worked. ID and password on the internet box was completely different from what was sent in email. We hooked up Roku to the t.v but it kept kicking us out so we couldn't watch Extraction 2 on netflix. The t.v. is old and the usb ports were just not holding to allow us to use the Roku successfully. Washer and dryer was listed as an amenity but was not found anywhere in the house. The email gave no info about where that was located. My husband found it in a locked room outside off the kitchen. Communication for the location would have been nice. It was so old and rusted though. Lastly, this property advertises space for 6 people. We had a total of two wash cloths. WTH! We were two adults and two teenagers. Each needed our own wash clothes. I will never ever rent vacasa anything ever again and maybe not even VRBO after this.

Great location - have stayed here many times - the door lock was a problem this visit - every time we tried to get in or lock up the door - please use a shorter security number - it was annoying to have to look up number each time we entered. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful!

Great Location

Great stay! Kitchen was loaded with literally everything! Master bedroom was large with plenty of storage. Bed spread was stained and should be changed but other than that everything was perfect!

The home was well maintained and updated. as close to the beach as you can get with a house. Quite, peaceful neighborhood. The beds were so comfortable that my wife and I are looking at getting the same one we slept on. Checking in and out was a breeze. You can tell the homeowners and Vacasa really care for this place. Would love to stay here every time I'm down in South Padre.

Family vacation

Check-in was great! We had the upstairs. The next day a couple of girls show up from just checking in downstairs saying they were going to have a “birthday party” and I should just text if the music is too loud. Well it must have been a rager. Partying didn’t stop until 5:30am. Next day I called the Vacasa number when I see them packing the booze in for round 2. They were on it... came and evicted them on the spot. From then on everything was smooth and relaxing. Thank you for taking care of our problem. Very pleased!!

Awesome house with ocean view from balcony

We decided on the south padre vacation last minute. We got this house for a really good price. Our 18 month old twins had plenty of space to run around. The location is really convenient for walking to the beach. There are so many restaurants closeby, we could walk to get breakfast. Would definitely recommend this house to our friends.

Great beach view property

If you stay in the upstairs unit, you have an excellent view of the beach across the street. Property is beautifully decorated and very clean. Couldn't have asked for anything more, except perhaps a corkscrew for our wine. Mid way though the island, it's close to everything. Very relaxing vacation!
