We loved our stay at Athena Ares! The location was absolutely perfect — just a quick walk across the street to the beach. The property was beautifully furnished, the pool area was relaxing, and the outdoor cooking space and TV setup made it easy to enjoy the games. We also loved that it’s pet-friendly, which made the trip even better for our pups! The owner was super communicative and made everything smooth from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back!

Awesome place

Booked this as an extended family vacation everyone had a great time over all accessible and clean. Very close to the beach. The rooms were great for my family of four. The pool is awesome the out door space is great. There was a rat in the outdoor space that was comfortable stealing food out of the grill. Would definitely stay there again.

Family reunion

We have a large group and having all four units next to each other was great. The pool area was perfect for swimming, visiting and grilling burgers. Short walk to beach. The units were all nicely furnished and comfortable.

Always a great stay at this property

This is about the 6th time we have stayed here since 2020. This is a great property with great owners who take pride in their building, and it always shows. The pool outdoor cooking area is awesome. Location is perfect.

Comfortable Stay Across from the Beach

Easy check in, great communication from the owner. Very clean and really nice! Comfortable beds, pool was super clean and we took our 28lb dog. My only suggestion is for the management group to spring for new cutlery. There was only 1 semi sharp knife and kitchen shears would barely open. It just made things a little difficult to chop veggies and open up bacon package etc.

Home away from home

The place is amazing, clean and have all your need. The pool/hot tube was our favor spot just to relax. Only half block away from the beach and a lot of nice restaurants close to the condo! Definitely we will be back in July, thank you Martin and Diane!!!!!!

Christmas Vacation

We loved Athena Ares! Our first trip to SPI was a fun and memorable trip. This condo was clean and as expected according to the listing. The property manager and owners were easy to contact and accommodating to my family. We would definitely recommend this unit!

First Anniversary Trip

Just what we needed.

I really enjoyed our stay at Athena Ares. It was conveniently close to the beach. With little ones, that was important. The room was well stocked, and the umbrella and chairs were just a big plus. Overall it was just what we needed for our mini last minute vacation. We will definitely be booking again soon.

Amazing stay

The condo was so nice, stocked with anything you might need and clean! Property manager was amazing! Location was excellent, great beach access and easy walking to restaurants. The best part was the outdoor pool area! Pool was beautiful and warm, hot tub was perfect and the outdoor kitchen, tv, pool table was great for us to gather. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Place to stay in SPI!!

We had a group of 37 people come down to be a part of my wedding on the beach. It was perfect! We had all six units plus a house across the street! Theses condos were very nice! It had everything you might need from cookware to beach chairs and umbrellas. They had a pack-n-play too! It was very updated and clean and the bed was super comfortable! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone coming to Padre Island. And the owners/manager was very good to us and helped with anything we needed!
