Cozy little condo close to the beach!

Overall, my family's stay in this place was great. Enough space for the 3 of us and while its not beach front, its super close to the beach. The keypad on the door gave us a bit of issues here and there when punching in the 10 digit code and while the unit has a private washer and dryer to use, the dryer made this constant squeaky noise that was pretty loud so we did not do laundry because we didn't want to disturb the neighbors. It was a great 4 night stay for a little summer getaway!

Birthday Trip

This vacation was in celebration of my partners birthday. The property was located in the center of everything. The property itself was everything however our unit is due for some repairs/upgrages. For the most part we were able to relax and unwind, exactly what we intended. We would definitely stay again if needed.

Enjoyed a Great Stay

Nice unit at a good price. Stayed the month of February and had a great time. Recently retired couple and 1st time on SPI. Beds, pillows and living room furniture super comfortable. TV and ceiling fans in every room. Plenty of space. We had a friend join us for a few days. Location was great! Easy walk to beach access and several restaurants.

It was quiet a walking distance to beach and the heated pool was nice in the evenings as once the sun went down the bugs were too bad at the beach.

DIRTY AND MOLDY

Don’t waste your time looking at this property. It shouldn’t be allowed on VBRO’s site to rent. First, the pictures of the listing are most likely from years ago and need to be updated with all of the damage done to the property. The counter tops are missing chunks of laminate, the microwave handle is being held on by super glue, there is mold in every bedroom, the living room AND ON THE LINENS. The condo it’s self smelt clean, but the only thing that has been cleaned in the past 12 months were the sinks and toilets. They couches felt and looked disgusting also. After checking in the staff was confused about our concerns, almost as if they thought we were lying about the conditions. After sending photos they quickly realized we were being truthful and offered us a partial refund. We had no choice but to stay in the until because EVERYTHING on the island was booked and since we were 6.5 hours from home, we had no choice. On Sunday 7.30.23 was the end of our stay. We were given no checkout instructions, so we did the same things we would do in other rentals. When we were stripping the linens, I found mold on my pillow. Plain as day black mold on the pillow I had been sleeping on for two night. The state of this property is unacceptable and should be completely renovated and checked for other possible damages before being rented.

Great location!

This was our second year in a row to SPI and love the whole island! This was in a great location and convenient close crossing to gulf beach access. Did not disappoint!

Not great!

My husband was impressed with the looks of the condo we rented. Unfortunately, we did not have very good weather in early February. It was very foggy, windy, cool, and rainy most of the time. There was major earth moving equipment directly across the street from the property, that awakened us each morning at 7:00am. But the most uncomfortable part of the stay was the sofa and loveseat in the living area by far. I tried to rearrange the cushions and pillows to get comfortable, but they were just miserable. We spent most evenings on them and the nights were long, with not much else to do other than read or watch television.
